This company has history, beer, wine, cocktail and food walking tours of St. Augustine. We booked the history tour with Alex and thoroughly enjoyed it. We met him and our four other fellow tourists in the historic art district. From there we headed onto the main Plaza area on King Street. We then walked north on the street behind the Hilton Hotel, learning the history of the hotel as well as the hotel that occupied the same location years ago. Our next stop was the fort and it's history. After that we walked down the historic George Street, learning about several buildings on that street. We finished our tour in the area of Flagler College and the Lightner Museum and Casa Monica Hotel. The tour was very informative and very interesting. I highly recommend it.

Alex was a joy to spend the day with. We did the beer tasting history tour. He was so passionate about his love of history and was so knowledgeable. He also advised us on local beers. We went to a polish restaurant that had amazing pierogis. The quaint art studio he took us to was fun to experience the local hospitality. Great experience!

We took a food and wine tour with Garry, and we had an absolute blast with him! His knowledge of the city's rich history and all of the best spots for delicious bites and cocktails was superb! If you want a fun afternoon loaded with great food and a ton of laughs, you must see Garry!

I recently did the dining at twilight tour with Garry and it was such a great experience! At the first stop we did a wine tasting and had a really nice charcuterie board. I tried wine that i've never heard of before and the charcuterie was delicious. The second stop was a super elevated experience with delicious french foods that i've also never been able to try before. The last stop was at a really nice dessert stop that specializes in cheesecake. Each stop came with a glass of wine, and entertainment from Garry. Garry gave lots of history and facts about St. Augustine that i never knew. It was a great experience, i would recommend this tour to anyone!

We were so fortunate to have Alex all to ourselves. We learned so much in the History walking tour.

He was knowledgeable, entertaining, personable and clearly passionate about both the history and the stories of St. Augustine. He had a great way of bringing the past to life while keeping the tour fun, engaging and just the right amount of spooky! You could tell he genuinely enjoys sharing these stories and his storytelling made the entire experience memorable. He was also great at answering questions and making everyone feel involved throughout the tour. My personal favorite story was the "Exploding Bishop." It's a local urban legend involving Bishop Augustin Verot, but I won't say anything more because I don't want to give away the story! You'll definitely want to hear Chief tell it. If you love horror, history, ghost stories and a good dose of fun, I highly recommend this tour! It was one of our favorite experiences in St. Augustine and Chief made it even better. Highly recommend!

If you get her as a guide, you will not be disappointed. I think our other guide Matlock was new. It felt like he was playing a character or role. It may have been the way they chose to split up the night, but his parts felt cheesy. Overall, it was an interesting tour and somewhat what I expected.

We gathered at the storefront, and almost immediately my dog started acting confused and scared. He's an 80 lb pitbull, and get doesn't really get scared of anything. At one point, he lept into my husband's arms (a move solely used at the vet's office). As soon as all of the patrons had arrived, Scott, our storyteller, told us about a little ghost girl Lily that lives in that building. She will often play with marbles and a doll in that same room. My husband and I have no doubt that she was petting the dog and that's what freaked him out. It was a great beginning to our ghost tour for sure. Scott then spent the next 2 hours taking us from place to place telling us about ghost encounters in the buildings that we were standing in front of. He was immersed in the history of St Augustine, even being a volunteer archaeologist and helping move parts of history. His storytelling skills were second to none. Even our dog, who had walked ALL day long around St Augustine, stayed close to Scott trying to listen to the stories and was excited as we moved to each place. It was a slow paced tour so you don't have to worry about being physically fit to partake. It was a well-spent 2 hours that my husband and I truly enjoyed. The dog enjoyed it too, except for being petted by the ghost Lily. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Scott, for such a fun adventure!

His ghost stories were right on par and none of that tacky paranormal equipment or fabricated sightings. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 souls who signed up this particular Thursday. He could have cancelled, rushed through the tour or lost interest due to our group size but this was NOT the case. At one point, we steered questions towards the general history of St Augustine and there wasn't a single question he could not answer! I would highly recommend this tour to everyone, family or just adults.

Walking tour operator…read more I took the opportunity to join my kids school trip to St. Augustine as a chaperone and as part of that, the school engaged Ancient City Tours as our guide for the day. The guide we had was Matt. Matt with the hat to be exact- because, you guessed it, he wore a hat. Easy to find if you were lagging behind - and easy to remember. Matt and his Hat made the day memorable- he certainly knew a lot of the St. Augustine history and was able to keep all the group engaged- kids, adults and even the teachers. He was super flexible with our group and overall, he made the day much better than I could have done on my own. Shout out to Matt and the Ancient City Tours team.

The ghost tour was especially amazing--she even gave my son a small device to help detect ghost activity, which made the experience extra fun for him. She also showed him an app where he could see and track ghost activity, which was really interesting (and a little eerie!). We stopped at several locations to admire the beautiful architecture of churches and historic buildings. Kendall is a true storyteller--she really gets into character and even dresses the part, which made everything feel more immersive. She added humor with some great puns, and we found ourselves laughing and enjoying every moment. One of the highlights was standing in a courtyard using a handheld device where we could hear what seemed like ghostly responses. It even answered my question when I asked its name--very eerie and unforgettable! Whether you believe in ghosts or not, learning about the darker, ghostly side of Saint Augustine made for a perfect evening. I've always wanted to experience something like this, and I'm so glad we booked it, even last minute. You won't regret it--but be sure to ask for Kendall... or you might! Sidenote -This is a golfcart tour, great for those who can't get around and you actually get to see more of Saint Augustine.
