    Inside of Cesar Wrap
    Shelby W.

I did Uber Eats for a mix of 14 wraps which consisted of Carnitas, Buffalo Chicken, Chipotle and, Cesar wraps for my co-workers for lunch. This was my first time ever ordering from here so I didn't know what to except. I grabbed the Cesar which was amazing, I was surprised to see actual croutons in my wrap! It was literally like a Caesar Salad but in a wrap and it was good! There was some left overs so I took the Chipotle one home and had it for dinner and it was very good. I definitely wanna try some more food from here!

Its a bit pricey but this place has a huge variety of healthy foods. Its hard to find green places like this in the area.

A giant bun section open for the perusing, a wide open dining room with tranquil murals all over the wall. This is a good place to spend some time at and eat. Service is very friendly. At peak time of day, the buns always refill super fast. The dim sum orders took some time to make their way out to our table, but that's ok. I think this place does an insane amount of take-out business. Food was dynamite. Just look at those buns. Adorned with plenty of toppings that pack a wallop of flavor. Always moist and fluffy and the perfect levels of sweet and/or savory. One could make a breakfast, lunch, and dinner out of this section alone. The dim sum, though, that's what left the biggest impact on me. Dim sum places, I feel like, are trying to capitalize on the popularity and offer smaller and smaller portions. Small dumplings, poorly-filled buns, smaller meat-to-filler ratios, etc. Not Bakery 1908, though. They charge premium prices for them, but what you get are huge, plump, properly filled, and packed with flavor. Just wow. Overall, this is a great place. A very unique and important addition to the Orlando food landscape. I'll keep coming back as needed.

However note that the parking lot is very limited, I can only imagine what the traffic and parking is like during the daytime. The blueberry cheesecake is my absolute favorite! When I visit again I will definitely make sure to snag one of these to eat. It's not too sweet which is great and the blueberry filling really adds to the overall taste of the dish. The matcha fruit tart was okay to me, nothing really stood out. But the strawberry pudding is very fruity. I will definitely have to return to try some of their other bakery buns and the hot food items!

Floors were plastic LVP and tables were all light wood and close together, but it was very clean. I had the Seco de pollo which was pretty good, but it would have been better with more onion salad, limon, aliño, and cilantro. The onions were very good. The menu said it came with potatoes, but it came with plantains and avocado, which was a plus. If we had just ordered the Seco de Pollo, water, and shared it, I would have rated it a 4. I ordered naranjilla juice, one of my favorites in Ecuador, but the frozen pulp brand used is one that has an off flavor and the drink was served more like an icee. Most brands of frozen mora are good, so that may be a better route if you decide to try the juice. The salchipapas were nothing like pictured. The fries were just frozen crinkle cut fries, which had a school cafeteria texture. There was no onion salad on top either. My daughter ate just a couple of bites. She ended up getting sick on the way home. The total was just over $45. Too overpriced for lunch with plastic cups. Replacing the canned soda displayed up front with Ecuadorian Coca Cola in glass, fiora vente, and other Ecuadorian sodas, having more Ecuadorian decor and even chonta wood tables, and Ecuadorian TV/music would add better ambiance than AI screen savers. The service was slow, with drinks not coming until our meal was served and I had to get up to get the check. I mentioned how the fries were terrible, but didn't receive a response at all. Florida needs more Ecuadorian restaurants, but with great options like daily almuerzos with the many amazing soups, pinchos with garlic/cilantro mayonnaise, chicken/pea/carrot empanadas (Ecuador has amazing empanadas that are nothing like the empanadas pictured on this page), Parrilladas, and even volquetero.

I spent about $180 on food, paid around $30 in service fees, and was basically expected to add another $30 on top. I didn't leave an extra tip and walked out feeling uncomfortable, like I had done something wrong--for not leaving $60 at a café.

Once we arrived to order, It did take a little while but no biggie. Order the food and coffees, coffee as good always but the food was not up to par. Breakfast platter looked very plain, ordered with over easy and it eggs were overcooked. Calentao was okay, it lacked flavor. Asked for extra tomatoes and they were green but that's okay I guess. The Waffle BLTE had a long string of hair! Was returned and replaced but the eggs were also overcooked. Asked for a cup to go for the ICED DULCE DE LECHE BANANA MATCHA LATTE, asked for a little extra caramel because it was stuck to the original glass and they stated had to charge for extra caramel, mind you after we returned a meal with hair, we were offered not compensation, a lame apology and wanted to charge more for caramel! We really love this place, coffee is always fanstastic but definitely not ordering food at the Dr. Phillips location in Orlando. Service goes a long way!
