Best authentic Chinese breads and deserts in Orlando most highly recommended!! They were all fresh and tasty. Large sized.

So happy they opened a location in my neighborhood by WDW! I always come here when I want to stock up on my Asian pastries. The variety is endless! They have the light and fluffy Japanese cheesecake, sweet milky buns and more. They also have a seating area to eat if you would like to order food. I usually just run in and get what I need and the check out is always speedy. I love that they have a rewards program too for frequent visitors!

I'm here on vacation and happened to see this place right by our hotel. We happened to stop by for brunch for some pastries and coffee. It did not disappoint. There was a lot of choices from sweet to savory pastries. Definitely had to take some to take back home. Drink wise we ordered the brown sugar Oreo milk tea and the coconut mango slush. Service was quick cause you just take a tray and tongs and choose what you want then bring it to the counter. So many yummy desserts. You can also dine in. They also have a variety of dim sum and ramen. Definitely will be come back when I'm back in Orlando.

To be honest, I'm not sure how this place has such a high rating. I tried the taro rolls and they were incredibly hard and dry, with a filling that was just as tough. I was excited to order the cotton candy pudding since I love that flavor, but it tasted more like blue raspberry than cotton candy. I also ordered a hot rose oolong tea and asked one of the staff members for honey, but she couldn't understand English or Spanish. When I asked another employee, he told me they didn't have any honey, which was surprising.. The shrimp dumplings were the only decent item I tried. They had relatively good flavor, and although the skin was quite thick, it wasn't overly chewy.

I love this spot! There are SO many things available to choose from, it's almost too much!! The resturaunt is brightly lit an there is ample seating in several different seating configurations. If you are looking for macha drinks, tea lattes or milk drinks there are plenty of delicious options to choose from. There are also many savory dishes available as well. One of their main focuses are noodle bowls. You can choose the broth, protein and the type of noodles too! If you want sweet buns or cakes or rolls there are lots to choose from. There is also a lite of different price points going on here as well. You can get a main for $7 -$15, combos for $20+ or big bags of meringue type cookies for $6 or a fluffy bun for $3. No matter what you're looking for, your sure to find something to match your budget, something to satisfy your palate and to satisfy your hunger! Come check them out!!

Will visit anytime I'm in the area. I'm a big fan of their cheesecake as it's fluffy and light and not overly sweet like a typical cheesecake would be. I'm also a fan of their fruit filled buns, the Bavarian is my favorite, but I really liked the pineapple and blueberry ones as well. What really brings me in is their teas though. I usually leave with 2 - one for now and one for later. I only sat down to eat once, but it was just a snack, the place is huge though with lots of seating space. The staff is always very helpful with questions and navigating different menu options. I never join rewards programs, but I did for this place.

A nice place to take a break and enjoy some lunch or a snack. The counter server was full of knowledge and very patient when asking questions about the many teas, lattes and coffees offered. The space is nice and bright, and can easily be a place to study or catch up on some out of office time.

We went to Bakery 1908 for a quick bite after dinner. We ordered the egg tart, tiramisu, and white cake with pastry flakes around it. The egg tart definitely wasn't favorite, by my girlfriend loved it. I didn't really like the texture. The tiramisu was pretty good, not too much to say here - tasted like it should've. The white cake was pastry flakes tasted good, but the texture was not my favorite. I think the cake might've been dry due to it sitting out on the shelf case, this would be better cold. I enjoyed the design and vibe of the restaurant, very opening and welcoming. There is a lot of space for movement, especially where the pastries were, also a lot of seating available. The service was good, the lady that helped us with the tiramisu was nice and inviting. She was the first to greet us

I'm back! Everything is as described and I keep coming back to try more! Today, I tried the taro steamed buns and the Jajang udon noodles. Keep in mind the buns have minced pork in them. I didn't notice the sausage at all. It does have a grainy texture inside probably due to the taro. The noodles are set in a more gravy base that isn't your typical sweet sauce so keep that in mind as well and it also has the minced pork. I definitely would prefer ( especially in the noodles) slices of pork rather than the minced and thicker pieces of the veggies. All in all, yummy! The Sicilian Americano was interesting...almost like a Mexican coffee with the lime in it and a twist on like an Aperol spritz almost but in coffee form. Ok but, prob won't get that one again. I actually wonder if they could try making it hot and the flavors may mix better together? I'll see you again soon!

Ah so happy I found this location of this bakery! Upon entrance you smell all of the delicious baked goods lol. It was hard to choose from so many things!!! You pick a tray and tongs and choose all the options you want. We grab a few breads and a Japanese cheesecake. At the counter you can order drinks, I got the strawberry slush and my fiancé got a mango lemonade and because it was his birthday he got a free drink and cake. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. The slush was delicious!!! Tasted like a cake lol, the lemonades weren't my favorite since they were more so tea based. I would definitely return to this location 1000/1000 Make sure to visit early around 4-5pm there's not that many baked goods left.

Had a great time. A must stop place. Every time we goto Orlando we go here. It has the best bakery items, savory and sweet. This is what I go for. Hubs usually has the hot foods. They have delicious boba. We have had their Pho, dumplings, and two kinds of friend chicken and all have been epic. Haven't had anything we didn't like. Staff is amazing and so kind

Dropped in for a quick lunch and we here impressed. I was so worried about lines and waits since I had heard that since opening it's been so busy. But we went on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived we walked the bakery section then saw an iPad to place an order on so we did. Once we sat we realized we could order from our phones which would have been another great option. Of course if you prefer talking to someone there is a counter to order at. The place is much larger than I expected. There was plenty of seating and the place was clean and bright. Food came out quickly, the portions were big and everything came out piping hot. (Accept our ice teas lol) The soups were super flavorful and full of protein which was a nice surprise. The dumplings were definitely made in house. They were full of chives and whole shrimps. Delicious. Can't wait to go back

Love this location, feels so open with the high ceilings! The other location in Orlando can feel tight when busy. Lots of options varying from sweet to savory. Buns of all kinds, cookies, cakes, and bread! There's a full menu of kitchen made food as well as a drink menu with boba, coffee, and lemonade options. Very clean space, friendly service, clean bathrooms, and lots of seating. There's self-serve water, utensils, napkins, condiments, and to-go containers along the back wall.

What I like most is that it feels authentic without trying to cater too hard to trends. It has that classic family-style Chinese restaurant atmosphere where the focus is really on the food. Service was quick, the staff kept everything moving smoothly even when it got busy, and the overall experience felt genuine. Mandarin Egg Tofu - Egg tofu is very delicious and is similar to silken tofu consistency and this dish is delicious. It has pork strips, enoki mushrooms , mini corn, snap peas, green onions. The egg tofu is fried first and once you bite into it its very tender and silky smooth texture and kind of creamy. This is my favorite tofu. The house sauce is a big brown based sauce. The snap peas seemed a little overcooked losing its bite and crunchy texture nonetheless still a memorable delicious dish. This would be a great vegetarian dish if you opt out the pork strips, Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce - This is usually served or listed on the menu as a rice plate dish. I usually eat this dining in and its a delicious plate entree. They use Swai filets for this dish. For $1 extra you can order it as a dish with rice on the side and you get more fish filets etc separate. This is a lightly battered fish filets fried and topped with house brown sauce with slithers of onions and red / green bell peppers. Of course the brown sauce is black bean sauce so you will see speckles of black beans with the sauce. There are ginger notes as well when you devour this dish. The fish filets are cooked perfectly so soft and tender. The rice served here can be better imo. Perhaps better brand or grain rice? Also ordered my regulars ; Walnut Shrimp, Beef Chow Fun. Walnut Shrimp - Request ordering this (take out only) having the broccoli stored separately. This provides the shrimp dish to not be soggy. I think you get more shrimps this way too. Tasty Wok's walnut shrimp is by far the best in orlando imo - they really seasoned the shrimp itself prior to dressing it with their creamy sauce. The sauce has a tad sweetness to it & some sort of umami. The shrimps are jumbo large sized. You get about 10-12? Shrimps in this dish. I have had my share of tasting this dish at different restaurants and by far Tasty Wok's is by far my favorite. Beef Chow Fun - Another favorite from Tasty Wok. Wok Hei present, Tender seasoned beef thinly sliced, and Tender wide noodles. It was under seasoned salt wise but eating it with their creamy sauce seasoned beef makes up for it. Again, ate my share of Beef Chow Fun at many restaurants and by far Tasty Wok's have been my favorite thus far. They offer free mini tubs of chili oil upon request. Also chopsticks. The staff were friendly and prompt. We came around late lunch and it was picking up after we were seated. The space is wide and has the old traditional Chinese restaurant aesthetics with a slight modernization. You can see all the crispy meats hanging at the front counter like a traditional shop. We ordered the Shrimp Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles. My go-to for comfort food. I've been a customer since college days and they make one of the best shrimp wontons. I know they've tweaked the recipe a little since the shrimp filling used to be ground up, which was better, but it didn't take away from the freshness. The broth is consistently flavorful with fresh greens and egg noodles. I somehow like the texture of the noodles more than the spaghetti size ones. We ordered the Crispy pork Belly and Duck combo which is really well seasoned. Some bites may be a little salty but it balances out with the rice. You can hear the crunch on the pork belly which is my favorite. We also got the Beef Chow Fun. It's wide noodles and cooked with scallions, beansprouts, and white onions. It was cooked over a flame so you can taste a hint of a char which is not overwhelming or greasy. It's the perfect balance to all the items. What I didn't order was the Water Spinach but it is one of my favorite vegetable dishes. You have to try it when it's available! I had hot tea with it and lots of hot chili oil in my dishes! I am happy they have remained pretty consistent in the dishes. Only on a couple occasions it was off but not many times. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. They share it with other popular spots like Haan Coffee, Sampaguita, etc.
