That's an really cool place, has nice atmosphere, really clean, a lfo of options to eat there and take home, plus good prices!!

On our previous visit to Orlando, we discovered Bakery1908 on Colonial Dr and we had breakfast there every. single. day. This time we stayed on I-Drive and found that they have a new location closer by in Lake Buena Vista, which we love even more than the first one. It's newer and way more spacious with a higher ceiling. The mural, the seatings and the greenery all help to create a very cozy and relaxed environment. It's busier too and harder to find a parking spot though. Their breads are so delicious, with so many varieties we always have a hard time deciding what to get, since we want them all! The swiss roll right by the entrance are delicious too! They also have cookies, and their crepe cakes are closest to Lady M than any other I've tried. You can tell that the crepe is really thin with rich layers of cream in between. It's an Asian bakery so the sweetness level is not as intense, and the bread dough is on the soft and pillowy side. Oh did I mention they also offer dimsum and a bunch of other things too. Yes, you can eat your breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea here. And probably still want more.

The wonton soup had a great flavor. The bok choy could have been a lot more tender. The chicken dumplings in the broth was extremely flavorful. Nice amount of sliced green onions in the bowl. The garlic edamame beans were seasoned just right. For dessert the peach and whipped cream bun was fresh and delicious.

Was able to fit in a last minute visit 20 mins before closing (10p)! A lot of the bakery items had been sold by then which was a bummer because I was looking forward to trying a bunch of their buns. Inside is very clean, and spacious. However note that the parking lot is very limited, I can only imagine what the traffic and parking is like during the daytime. The blueberry cheesecake is my absolute favorite! When I visit again I will definitely make sure to snag one of these to eat. It's not too sweet which is great and the blueberry filling really adds to the overall taste of the dish. The matcha fruit tart was okay to me, nothing really stood out. But the strawberry pudding is very fruity. I will definitely have to return to try some of their other bakery buns and the hot food items!

Tiny parking lot in one of the busiest, most touristy part of town, so it's kind of a pain to get to, but once you get inside, the ambiance is grandiose and luxurious. A giant bun section open for the perusing, a wide open dining room with tranquil murals all over the wall. This is a good place to spend some time at and eat. Service is very friendly. At peak time of day, the buns always refill super fast. The dim sum orders took some time to make their way out to our table, but that's ok. I think this place does an insane amount of take-out business. Food was dynamite. Just look at those buns. Adorned with plenty of toppings that pack a wallop of flavor. Always moist and fluffy and the perfect levels of sweet and/or savory. One could make a breakfast, lunch, and dinner out of this section alone. The dim sum, though, that's what left the biggest impact on me. Dim sum places, I feel like, are trying to capitalize on the popularity and offer smaller and smaller portions. Small dumplings, poorly-filled buns, smaller meat-to-filler ratios, etc. Not Bakery 1908, though. They charge premium prices for them, but what you get are huge, plump, properly filled, and packed with flavor. Just wow. Overall, this is a great place. A very unique and important addition to the Orlando food landscape. I'll keep coming back as needed.

Woww I want to go back already. It was a last minute let's stop here and eat something quick before the drive back to Miami and it was amazing! The pastries were all so fresh and it felt very authentic. I really loved the corn bread as well as the one with custard. The bread was so soft and sweet. My sister ordered the iced coffee and she also loved it. I would go back any day and try more of the pastries!

My dad and I picked up baked bbq pork buns for my mom. It was easy to get in and out around 9:30 am. Entrance is at front facing the main road. They are next to the Burger King and share a building with a souvenir shop. Big selection of bakery items that looked fantastic. The kitchen opens at 10 am for dim sum items, so will need to come later in the day to try those! The pork buns are huge for $3.75. I signed up for the loyalty program and got one of my pork buns for free which I appreciated! I saw they even have delivery through Door Dash in case my parents crave dim sum but do not have a driver to bring them! Staff was super polite and helpful when I called in advance to make sure they had pork buns before I arrived.

To be honest, I'm not sure how this place has such a high rating. I tried the taro rolls and they were incredibly hard and dry, with a filling that was just as tough. I was excited to order the cotton candy pudding since I love that flavor, but it tasted more like blue raspberry than cotton candy. I also ordered a hot rose oolong tea and asked one of the staff members for honey, but she couldn't understand English or Spanish. When I asked another employee, he told me they didn't have any honey, which was surprising.. The shrimp dumplings were the only decent item I tried. They had relatively good flavor, and although the skin was quite thick, it wasn't overly chewy.

This cafe has plenty of seating. It was very clean and there's a good variety of baked goods. Tiramisu latte: got this with almond milk. Not too sweet which was good. Curry bread: good amount of filling inside. Flavor was good. Breakfast bread: the bread was sweet and the ham/egg was good which made it savory/salty.

The bakery is huge and it feels like it's trying to do too many things. My strawberry milk tea was okay. It had way too many chunks of strawberry in it. We went later in the evening and it was pretty dead, it's connected to a gift shop. The blueberry tart was very good. The service was fine. I feel like we needed to come in the morning to have a better experience overall. I would def come back when in the area, it just feels more like a breakfast/brunch spot. Cheers

I love this spot! There are SO many things available to choose from, it's almost too much!! The resturaunt is brightly lit an there is ample seating in several different seating configurations. If you are looking for macha drinks, tea lattes or milk drinks there are plenty of delicious options to choose from. There are also many savory dishes available as well. One of their main focuses are noodle bowls. You can choose the broth, protein and the type of noodles too! If you want sweet buns or cakes or rolls there are lots to choose from. There is also a lite of different price points going on here as well. You can get a main for $7 -$15, combos for $20+ or big bags of meringue type cookies for $6 or a fluffy bun for $3. No matter what you're looking for, your sure to find something to match your budget, something to satisfy your palate and to satisfy your hunger! Come check them out!!

Will visit anytime I'm in the area. I'm a big fan of their cheesecake as it's fluffy and light and not overly sweet like a typical cheesecake would be. I'm also a fan of their fruit filled buns, the Bavarian is my favorite, but I really liked the pineapple and blueberry ones as well. What really brings me in is their teas though. I usually leave with 2 - one for now and one for later. I only sat down to eat once, but it was just a snack, the place is huge though with lots of seating space. The staff is always very helpful with questions and navigating different menu options. I never join rewards programs, but I did for this place.

Ah so happy I found this location of this bakery! Upon entrance you smell all of the delicious baked goods lol. It was hard to choose from so many things!!! You pick a tray and tongs and choose all the options you want. We grab a few breads and a Japanese cheesecake. At the counter you can order drinks, I got the strawberry slush and my fiancé got a mango lemonade and because it was his birthday he got a free drink and cake. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. The slush was delicious!!! Tasted like a cake lol, the lemonades weren't my favorite since they were more so tea based. I would definitely return to this location 1000/1000 Make sure to visit early around 4-5pm there's not that many baked goods left.

My one detractor is that the service was a little spotty getting the check. All things considered, this place is solid for dim sum, and I'd definitely go back.

I chose sweety thai chili sauce because I like the sweet, zesty kick it gives which was a great compliment to the food. It was only $6 for 4 decently sized dumplings which wasn't bad. I then told her it's because Kai Kai owners left Kai Kai and sold it maybe to another owner but they no longer run Kai Kai. So as the conversation passes she told me - The Crispy pork they cook there is NOT ROASTED but FRIED. It was brought up because i was telling her a few people have said kai kai fell off as far as taste in the bbq / meats. So then I said yes the skin part is not crispy like how you guys do it. So she mentioned she wondered why they have been busy with Chinese BBQ meats as of lately. I ordered the $4.95 boba smoothie (mango) as a refresher because it is hot outside - For the price it is not bad I think they use mango puree as the base. The dishes here are delicious. This is why I keep coming back.

We came here first simply because the cheaper weekday lunch special, but man oh man do the flavors keep me coming back. First off their broths are amazing. You can mix your broths and they are not just flavored water either, you literally get all the herbs and spices poured into your bowl to keep those flavors strong. If you like spice I usually do half curry and half the szechuan broths. They have a bar style to serve the food and the sauces/toppings so no waiting for anything. They even have the noodles on a little track that goes around the seats which is so fun just to grab. In addition to the hot pot menu. They have an extra charge appetizers "extra selections (made when ordered)" menu that contains a hidden gem of this place. The wings!!! All of them are cooked amazingly with a juicy inside but a flavorful crunchy outside. If you do choose this option I would love to give a shout out to the Juicy 2.0 flavor. The last food thing I love about this place is the dessert. They have an ice cream cooler, but not no normal vanilla or chocolate ice cream cups. They have that ice cream selection they you probably remember getting out of an ice cream freezer in the gas station. ice cream sandwiches, those crunchy-on-the-outside popsicle and normal popsicle too. I can always only speak to the staff that received us, but everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. They were happy to explain the various broths and the different menu items especially when it came to the appetizer menu. I said it at the beginning, price-wise this place I'd say is comparable or better. If you are iffy on trying this place as your next hotpot adventure, coming here during the cheaper weekday lunch time is a no brainer with a price that is arguably hard to beat.
