Yesterday morning, my family and I stopped by Moma's Cafe for breakfast after heading out of our Airbnb, and we're so glad we found this place! It was conveniently located nearby and turned out to be a wonderful breakfast stop. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and relaxing, which was exactly what we needed in the morning. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and were very patient while we took our time looking through the menu and deciding what to order. For drinks, we ordered the 3 Mocha, a cappuccino, and a matcha latte, and everything tasted great. The mocha in particular was excellent, it had such a rich, naturally delicious flavor that it honestly didn't need any additional sweetness. For breakfast, we ordered the Breakfast Club, Avocado & Egg Salad Sandwich, and Mushroom Avocado & Vegan Sausage Breakfast Burrito. Everything was delicious, and the portions were excellent and very satisfying. There was a great variety of flavors across the dishes, and everyone at the table found something they really enjoyed. Overall, Moma's Cafe was a great breakfast experience from start to finish. Between the cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, delicious drinks, and generous portions, it's definitely a place we would happily return to the next time we're in the area. Well...I really wanted to try this place. I came in sat down and I was reviewing the menu when the cashier announced to the whole restaurant that there are 11 tickets in the kitchen and it will take over an hour to get any hot food. The restaurant looked like it was only at half capacity (seating). The cashier was polite/friendly. It's sad to see a restaurant turn away customers. There were at least 8 parties that came and left because they didn't want to wait. I guess for a business that's a good problem to have. ‍ Giving three stars because the ambiance was nice, cashier seemed friendly, menu had a nice selection for brunch, speciality drinks/coffee. First of the place looks really clean and the service was good. But the whole ordering process was chaotic. It took us 50 mins to get our food, when the cashier told us the food is going to take 25-30 mins, but the head guy added 10 more minutes to the wait. I was already apprehensive on staying, but we did anyway. The food tasted good, a bit on the salty side, my mouth was still dry after an hour of eating here. I asked for another chocolate milk, but the server said I have to stand inline again to get one...it took me 8 mins just to get one, I was pretty annoyed at this point. My food was getting cold as I stood inline for a drink. But the thing that got me was my son got sick from the orange juice. He threw up on his plate (quietly). I tasted the orange juice 1st it wasn't even cold and it was just not tasting right for me. So that wasn't really pleasant for us. It was a bit loud for breakfast time, I keep getting a strangers backside on me while they stood inline it's crowded. Safe to say not a very fun experience for us. But to summarize, the food was okay, it's loud crowded and definitely not a quiet or relaxing place to have breakfast, if you don't mind waiting for your food this would be a good option for you. I don't think this business wants or appreciates customers. Went in to order breakfast and were quickly and almost gleefully told by the cashier taking the order that there were 9 tickets in front of us and it would be 35-40 minutes to get our food. I'd appreciate the honesty if it didn't feel like a ploy to get us out of the restaurant quickly. Loved the menu and was excited to try the food but I won't eat anywhere it seems I'm not wanted. read more

I like Moma's and I've been several times now. The food is good and the drinks are solid, but my biggest issue is that they don't seem to have a good flow when they get busy. I've come twice with family members staying in the area, and when they get even slightly busy, the wait times for food are INSANE. And they have a decent amount of seating so it seems like they want to have that capacity of customers but when you wait 45 minutes and the staff looks like they're dissociating when you ask a question and they don't even answer you, but they do bring the item you requested so they clearly heard you.... It's not a good look. It feels like the staffing levels should be reconsidered. read more

What a perfect little brunch spot for the morning after a long theme park day. The coffee was delicious. Little touches like the quality of the coffee cup made it feel like every detail is thought out. A bunch of people ordered meals at the same time so the wait was a bit longer than they warned us it would be, but it was worth it. The Shakshouka was clearly made from scratch to order. So warming and the tomatoes and bread were of great quality. My husband's breakfast burrito was huge and the avocado in it was so fresh. Will definitely be back! read more

I visited Moma's Cafe for the first time, and I really enjoyed the experience. As soon as I walked in, I felt a great vibe. The café has an open, spacious layout with plenty of seating, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. My friend and I ordered sandwiches with mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado. They came with lightly salted sweet potato fries that were simple but delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. I also ordered a lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing--perfect for such a hot day. After we placed our order, we were given a table number, and our food was brought to us. First time here and we had a great experience! My mother-in-law was craving a Hispanic-style breakfast, and Moma's Cafe definitely delivered. It's a small hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, and they can accommodate large groups, but keep in mind it's first come, first served, so we did have to find our own seats. Our group had 6 people, and once seated, everything went smoothly. We ordered the original avocado toast, huevos rancheros, 2 kids breakfast platters with chocolate milk, burritos, monte cristo, breakfast classic, a hot matcha latte, and orange juice. Everything came out hot and fresh, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. The customer service was on point the entire time, and the staff made us feel welcomed. This is a small cafe near Epic Universe. It is small and hidden in a new shopping center. This restaurant has absolutely delicious food. I went with a group of 4 and we had 4 different breakfast platters. Everything was sooo good. They also offer fresh squeezed orange juice, it was sweet and perfect. They also have lunch items, but don't start serving them until about 11AM. The only downfall is they don't have enough employees for the amount of people that walk in during their busy period. We tried to eat there on a second day and they had a 45 minute wait. It was a shame because it was so good! I highly recommend this restaurant but arrive early or during low season. Menu has your typical brunch/breakfast options, but they have some unique options as well. We ordered the French toast with caramel sauce and powdered sugar, gourmet avocado (really delicious!), American platter, and cold brew with the fresh cold foam. Everything was delicious! Free 2-hr parking outside, friendly staff, and they were mindful about our friend's peanut allergy that they even checked on him after he ate his meal to make sure he was still ok even though he didn't have any reactions. We decided to visit Moma's Cafe for our book club meeting this month & it's a nice place. It's near the Epic hotels and it's small but, the ambiance is very busy it stayed packed the entire time we were there. We looked at the menu and went up to order . I decided on the cookie butter latte and the cheesesteak scramble. The wait time was about 55 mins but, that was fine with us so we had uninterrupted time to discuss the book we read for the month. My coffee and scramble were delicious. I also decided to add on a warm strawberry and cheese pastry . The scramble was keto friendly which was awesome. Nice breakfast menu! I had a pistachio latte that was by far one of my favorite lattes ever! Everyone else in my party had black coffee that was piping hot! Our food was delicious. It was pretty crowded so it took about 25 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered cheese steak on hash browns, my husband ordered the cheese steak scrambler and our friends had huevos rancheros and southern hearty! Fun Café located near Universal Studios in Orlando. We stopped in for a lunch on our way from the airport. The place has a fun vibe with attentive servers. We had our luggage with us and they were happy to accommodate our luggage and allowing us to stay to hang out for a little bit. We went with the Portobello avocado sandwich with a side of fries and a BLT. The garlic aïoli was full of flavor, and the bacon had a good crunch to it. I enjoyed the portobello sandwich as it was something different than I've usually had. We came for breakfast and all enjoyed our selections. As we looked for a new spot to try for some breakfast or even brunch, we noticed we were pretty close by to Momas Cafe and decided this would be the spot to go. It is self seating, so we found a spot to sit and checked the menu, it was a good sized menu but I'd say I struggled to find something that stood out to me. I felt it was lacking a signature dish, something that tells me I need to try it. Nonetheless, I was settled on the Spanish Fiesta and my drink which was an orange juice mixed with a lime juice and more. Safe to say I enjoyed them both, the drink was super fresh and refreshing. The food was honestly great, it comes with green peppers normally but im not much of a peppers person so i skipped on that, but this was a flavorful dish. It was basically a breakfast bowl that normally has potatoes but this one one replaces the potatoes with cubed and seasoned soughdough bread that impressed me! Its definitely something I would eat again. It is more of a cafe vibe so I would say not to expect too much in terms of the service you will get at your table. At the register they were very friendly and even helpful if you needed something. It was good overall and Safe to say that I would definitely come back here and eat if I am in the area. read more

**INITIAL REVIEW** While on a weekend vacation to Orlando to celebrate my stepdad's birthday, my sister who lived in Orlando for a good portion of her life, even longer than I have, suggested a breakfast/brunch place she's heard of while we were out and about for the day. Given the fact I am a connoisseur of breakfast/brunch places, I had to second her suggestion. Ergo, my family and I got to try out Moma's Cafe with this being my very first time eating here. Though an address is provided, Moma's Cafe (which I will shorthand simply to Moma's) is located in The District, an apartment complex on Universal Blvd. in Orlando. Just like some traditional malls, this apartment complex is incorporating the hybrid commercial/residential setup in which the first one or two floors are for commerce while the higher-up floors are for residential. First and foremost, the parking situation can be confusing. The parking lot in front of Moma's is limited and only has one way in, one way out. Ergo, if it is full, most people will have to park in the parking garage located within the complex. Take note there is a "walk-thru" from the parking garage through the apartment complex to the storefront area where most people will enter commerce businesses, including Moma's. Just follow the signs from the garage and you'll find your way. Though there are some outdoor seating available, the restaurant's minimal indoor seating suggests it gets its majority of business through pickup, takeout, and/or delivery. However, the interior is quite cozy despite being quite a space to work with. Prior to ordering, you can view the physical menu or scan a QR code for a digital menu complete with pictures of said food. Moma's also has a nice selection of pre-made and baked goods, some of them being keto-friendly. After taking our order, we found a table that was somewhat close to the water refill station. Eventually, our food arrived and I have to say, very simplistic in nature but good nevertheless. My family ordered French Toast, an omelette known as "Greek Glory". a full breakfast known as the Southern Hearty, and the Breakfast Club sandwich. I ordered the Tex-Mex Chicken ScramBowl (hodgepodge word of scramble and bowl) and Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Avocado. **DETAILS OF MENU ITEMS IN PICTURES** The food was absolutely delicious. For me, the two food menu items I got were very filling. That is a big deal for me as I am searching for very high-volume foods with low calories. Take notice I said "very" at the end of high-volume. Ergo, think of 1000 grams or more but less than 500 calories altogether. Better if less than 300 calories. And on a sidenote, the restrooms were cleaned and well-stocked. Nothing out of the ordinary or over-the-top, as it served its purpose without any disgust. Ultimately, I am going to give Moma's an initial rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Excellent food, excellent prices, and friendly service. Only "issue" is that the food did take longer to make compared to other breakfast/brunch restaurants or mom n' pop restaurants. But who's ever been perfect, right? I know I will be back sometime in the future, and if they are consistent, let's say two more times at least, I'll give Moma's their fifth star for consistency in an updated review. read more

This is a first time visit. Looking at the menu I thought they were a bit pretentious. The seating can be limited. There is no real table service other than having your meal brought out. The order you have to stand in line and hope there's a table for you. So bring a friend. Overall I thought the food was good. I think I got a coffee refill once. I thought this place was okay. Such a great coffee shop! Tons of vegan options, good protein choices, and fresh fruit. The coffee is super smooth, and the cortado was spot on. I really appreciated that the staff is bilingual. It's also a great place to get some work done -- lots of space and solid WiFi. read more

Food is tasty and for the price and serving size you really can't beat it ! Coming into the cafe, there is enough seating which is nice. You grab a menu and choose your seat, once ready you go up and order and then they'll bring it to you. I have to say when ordering the guy was very helpful and friendly, which makes you want to go back. The wait time to get the food was about 25-30 minutes. We ordered a matcha and fresh squeezed orange juice. The matcha is theirs so it's a little more earthy, I suggest asking for extra syrup pumps if you're used to a sugary matcha. The juice was delicious! We ordered French toast and the Spanish fiesta. French toast had a good flavor and a good balance between crispy and soft. The Spanish fiesta had a nice twist to it, instead of potatoes they use sourdough bread. The only complaint I have was the trays they brought the food with and the syrup coming in a small package, but that's just me giving some feedback that can improve. Waited about 45 mins for a simple dish (they did tell us prior) but we were already committed. Another thing is this place needs better ventilation!! Met up with a friend before going to Sea World. Loved that they opened early on a Sunday! There is parking in the front and there is free parking in a garage with a 2-hour limit connected to the plaza. I'll admit it was hard for me to find at first because the location on Apple maps is a little different than the actual location itself. I did a lot of "where is it?" only to realize I wasn't walking far enough down the sidewalk even though the maps said it was right where I was standing. Upon walking in, there is actually a decent amount of seating for a quaint little coffee shop on this strip. It is counter service, so you order and then sit and they bring your order to you. I was actually impressed with the size of their menu, as it was a smaller place with a smaller staff. I ordered one of their seasonal lattes and it was very tasty, though towards the bottom it got very sweet (as most craft coffees do) so next time I feel like I'd stir it a little more to make sure I drink it till the last drop. I ordered the turkey blt with a side of fruit and it was delicous! The fruit tasted fresh and the sandwich was light and filling. I love that they ask how you want your eggs in the sandwich. My friend let me taste her burrito and it was also good. Definitely something to split with someone (it was huge!). If I have any critiques I'd say give yourself time there. When we got there it wasn't very busy but the food took a little time to get to us. When we were leaving I overheard the counter staff mention that the food was running at about a 30 min preparation time. I am looking forward to trying out some other menu items! read more

This is definitely one of those hole in the walls for this area. Really loved this place and what they had to offer. Great vibes, service, and overall presence. Location is a bit tricky to find since they don't have an actual big sign on top they're franchise, but it is slapped on the door and windows of the cafe. Parking is a bit crowded and actually located towards the back of the plaza and you need to walk to the front of the building. It's actually located next to the small cupcakes creamery so don't think you're in the wrong area ! Just walking in seems like a relaxed and chill vibe. Greeted by the staff, super friendly, and give great recommendations overall. I personally ordered the Club Sandwich which is a great mix of ham, tomato, egg, and lettuce. Delicious sandwich and cooked to great perfection and soft on white bread. Paired that with some Cold brew cream soda which was my favorite drink on the menu so far.
