I stopped at this coffee shop every day during my vacation in Florida and it quickly became my favorite part of the morning. The coffee was absolutely delicious every time. Terry, my barista, was so kind and friendly. We had the best conversations about latte art, and you can tell he truly cares about his craft. He even remembered my drink order after just one visit, which made the experience feel so personal and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back every time I'm in the Orlando area. It's a relatively small café with limited seating space. The decor is pretty and has a sort of neo-Bohemian vibe. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to your table once ready. The service was good except for the coffee which arrived pretty late, long after we had eaten our breakfast, as the barista arrived late. This is considering we were there during peak breakfast hours between 8-9 AM. The delay is acceptable but it's something the lady at the counter could have set an expectation for as the orders were backed up, but regardless, the overall service was okay-ish. We had the veggie breakfast sandwich, the bacon-egg-and-cheese breakfast croissant sandwich, a medium mocha cappuccino, a medium cafe con leche as well as an order of pan de bono to go. The sandwiches were served pretty promptly and the portion sizes were pretty decent. The lady forgot our to go order for the pan de bono till we asked while waiting for our coffee. However, since the coffee arrived super late, we decided to have the pan de bono at the café instead of taking it to go simply to pass the time. Coffee was decent too but nothing exceptional. Overall, the place is okay but kinda pricey for the food and the service they provide. We paid upwards of $50 (including tip) for two breakfast sandwiches, two tiny breads and two medium sized coffees. May not be a viable option as a regular breakfast place for most people in this economy. read more

Love the coffee & matcha here! Disappointed because when you use the kiosk to order it charges a service charge then asks for an additional tip. When you click on the service charge info it says 18% gratuity ... so it asks for you to tip twice. One is required and hidden as a service charge, and the other time is optional. We've been to the one in Coral Gables Miami a few times and we've gotten great food and service this time at this location was a but different. Once we arrived to order, It did take a little while but no biggie. Order the food and coffees, coffee as good always but the food was not up to par. Breakfast platter looked very plain, ordered with over easy and it eggs were overcooked. Calentao was okay, it lacked flavor. Asked for extra tomatoes and they were green but that's okay I guess. The Waffle BLTE had a long string of hair! Was returned and replaced but the eggs were also overcooked. Asked for a cup to go for the ICED DULCE DE LECHE BANANA MATCHA LATTE, asked for a little extra caramel because it was stuck to the original glass and they stated had to charge for extra caramel, mind you after we returned a meal with hair, we were offered not compensation, a lame apology and wanted to charge more for caramel! Stopped in to try something new, as far as a coffee shop. Wow!! I found this much more than your typical coffee shop vibe. First, the place was full and had a great energy. There were no seats available, so I ordered to go. Once my order arrived, the tables had cleared so I decided to enjoy the shop for while. First time visiting and this cafe was so cute! I didn't know it was a Colombian cafe until after I ordered it I would have gotten coffee! I ended up getting a berry matcha with oat milk and a guava pastry. The guava pastry was delicious and I would absolutely get it again! It was sweet and sugary and just the right portion size. I don't love the matcha as much. The berry was real raspberry/blackberry which provided a sweet tart and yummy flavor but also a surprisingly amount of seeds in the drink. I don't mind the seeds at first but it got to be a lot. The matcha itself was okay but I probably wouldn't get it again. One and done. We will not be returning. We came on a Saturday morning. Small restaurant. They have seats inside and outside. All were taken which was fine. There were a few barstools that we sat at. There was a line to order. We did spot a kiosk though so we used that as we wanted to browse the menu as well. Once we got to the checkout part, it asked for a number. We didn't see any around the kiosk. I walked around and saw there were some numbers by the cashier taking orders so I grabbed one. We must have waited for our food for about 30 minutes. I mean the coffee didn't even come for 20 minutes. Our food came sporadically. For some reason 1 empanada took 30-35 minutes to hit the table after I asked about it. The chicken empanada was terrible. No flavor. They give you a dipping sauce but the inside chicken just seems like boiled chicken. We ordered a berry french toast and a toast with cheese and bacon off the kids menu. There was a customization on everything. With the kids item, we asked for no mozzarella. There was a no cheddar cheese that we did not select. It came out with no cheese at all and just bacon in between two pieces of bread. When we asked about it, they were confused and said you wrote no cheese. We said we selected no mozzarella cheese but we didn't select no cheddar cheese, so it should come with cheddar. They seemed to be confused but said ok and added melted cheddar in. The chips that came with it were borderline stale. For the entire experience, we definitely overpaid. Such a quaint and inviting local coffee shop! You instantly feel cozy when you walk in the door. Valeria was at the counter when we ordered and was very friendly. They have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches, quiches, pastries, empanadas and taquitos. They also have slices of cakes if you would like that. They have regular coffee and custom drinks as well. We both got the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a ciabatta roll! They were fantastic! The bread was soft and warm, the egg fluffy and bacon was crisp. You have your choice of cheese and I selected cheddar. I got a beef empanada (which was air fried) and I got a dulce de leche matcha and my friend got a spicy empanada (beef and chorizo) and an iced vanilla latte. Stopped here for a short work meeting and breakfast after an appointment on this side of town. This is in a plaza on sand lake so there is plenty of parking. The establishment is not too big but there is plenty of seating for the size. It was very busy there and it seems to be a popular place to work remote (all tables had at least one laptop on it ;P) I ordered the farmer's coffee and avocado toast. I can't believe they charge almost 5 dollars for a pandebono which is half or even a third of the size of Mecato's pandebono and it Is 2 dollars over there. Came across CFS Coffee on my trip to Disney last week. This place is in the middle of a shopping center, not too far from a string of hotels where many of the tourists stay on their vacations. The interior offers a variety of seating, and there is also exterior seating that is dog friendly. The coffee shop offered rewards would could be a big appeal for those that live in the area. My husband each ordered a drink (Matcha Latte and a regular Latte) and a breakfast empanada, as well as a Taquerito to share. The breakfast empanadas were labeled as a "spicy empanada." Given this, I was expecting the empanada to have perhaps a chorizo filling inside or a slew of spices in the filling. The filling was instead plain beef with a few spices and the exterior of the empanadas had crushed red peppers on them giving them their "spiciness." Was so pleased when I stopped by CFS, great prices and an overall great selection of breakfast items! I ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant as well as a cinnamon roll, both of which were delicious. They have a variety of drinks and coffee to pick from. What a cute little coffee shop in the heart of Dr. Philips! They offer so many different drinks so if coffee is not your drink, they are sure to have what you are looking for! My only downside was my struggle in communication with my drink. I had asked for an iced hazelnut latte with oat milk, and asked if the hazelnut syrup was sweetened, to which the barista taking the order said yes. When I got the drink I had tasted no hazelnut or sweetener and brought it back up to see if I could get a few more pumps added. Instead the person (different than the one taking my order) told me if I wanted it sweet then I should have told the lady because she only put one pump. I told this person I had no idea the barista had put only one pump, that the barista had told me the latte would be sweet. After going back and forth for a couple minutes the person was like "oh you only want a couple more pumps?" And I'm like "yes that's all I was wanting" and they added it and all was fine after. The rest of the staff was great, I guess if anything maybe telling people that it only has two pumps and giving the option of if someone is needing more. read more

It's hard go come by a cafe with a study ambiance in Orlando, and I think CFS coffee offers just that. Coming in, there are a good amount of people studying, eating, chatting. There is plenty of seating as well with outlets. I got the vanilla latte and the beef empanada. I wish the beef empanada pulled apart as I was eating chunks at a time. The vanilla latte wasn't anything mind-blowing. The service is quick and respectful. In addition, I wish it was opened later. The bakery items slant towards the Latin variety. There are 7 Central Florida locations. I have been to Lake Nona and Dr Phillips. Both locations have comfortable seating including inviting cushions and pillows. The drinks and food served in house come in attractive tableware and glasses. Don't look in the bakery case if you are on a diet because they have a lot of delicious looking options. My friend wanted to go to a popular coffee shop close by but I am a fan of CFS limeades. They have interesting flavors: Avocado, Coconut, Mint and Strawberry. These drinks are thicker like a shake and not as sweet as traditional limeades. Kind of a shake with a tang. I love the mint and strawberry. The avocado flavor was good just not a distinctive taste. Customers order at the counter and get a number then the staff brings out your order to your table. Almost all the tables were full and I saw customers who came in after us get their service. When we inquired the staff said they were having trouble with the blender. We got one drink and like 15 minutes later the next one. I think they should have communicated better however since I love the limeades, I will be back. read more

Fantastic coffee cafe on Sandlake. It is super cute inside with several tables, and a living room style seating area. They also had coloring books and crayons to entertain little ones. Love that they use actual hand made pottery to serve their drinks. Genuine, friendly staff. Lots of coffee and tea options. Great selection of pastries as well as a breakfast menu. My husband got an Americano, and I got a hot tea. We shared a beef empanada, cheese stick, and a pandebono. The beef empanada and cheese stick were fine. Decided to check out something local on vacation and CFS came up with the best ratings I saw in the area and lived up to the ratings! Ample parking nestled in a shopping strip which is always a plus. The atmosphere inside is spot on. I love their wall paint and art and subtle vegetation accents including succulents as center pieces. I did the Pumpkin Spice Latte which was the perfect balance of flavor, creating a wonderful taste of pie. Also had the egg, bacon, and cheese croissant sandwich and split an apple strudel. This is a nice little coffee spot different then your everyday chains. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Dogs are welcomed out on the patio and water is offered for the furry friends. I had the breakfast platter with yuca waffles. The platter was a regular portion, everything tasted good and healthy. My husband had the power protein packed pancakes. Overall he enjoyed he pancakes and was pleasantly surprised at how moist the pancakes were, however he wasn't a fan of the Greek yogurt. We had a latte an cappuccino the flavor was good but it could have been hotter. I think that had to do with us being the first customers of the day. The lavender coffee is just as beautiful in person but they did share with me that it's harder to do with alternative milk, which I have to order because I'm lactose intolerant. The arepa I had a breakfast was delicious and filling. They do a scrambled egg out of tofu which also tastes great. I have dined in and also taken my coffee to go. There is good wifi so I've seen other customers set up with laptops. It's not too crowded in the mid-morning and I easily found a place to sit. The bathroom is clean. Many people were waiting to sit and eat while it seemed some people were just oblivious to them waiting and just sat at tables after they were finished. And one family of 4 even took up 3 tables spreading out. The staff didn't seem to care I guess. I personally felt this was a bit rude to the other customers. This was a big turn off for me. The cafe itself is cute with a cozy feel. Lots of tables and outlets which is nice. Unfortunately, the food fell flat for us. We ordered a salad to share - the veggies were fine but the rice in it felt undercooked? Or underheated? The chicken wasn't anything spectacular, maybe felt like it was defrosted chicken breast with minimal seasoning. The cilantro dressing was the main highlight. A medium sized plate for 16$ felt a bit much. A pandebono for 4$ also somehow felt a bit I ordered the cafe con leche and didn't read the print on the menu that said "drip coffee with milk". The odd part to me is you could order a drip coffee which was a dollar cheaper. So I guess I paid an extra dollar for regular milk? A bit disappointing.
