Took several of my wife's new and near-new quality garments there, only to find they came back with serious problems. One new sweater was returned to us with the collar puckered and ripped at the seam ("We can fix that"); one pair of slacks left to be hemmed wasn't; on another one, the hem fell apart during the first wearing and we were told, "That's the risk you take with hand-stitching." (Really? Mom never had to give me a disclaimer when she sewed things.) A third pair of pants were shrunk and we were told they could "stretch them back out." They were also worn-looking and pilled and we were told that it was normal wear. After three wearings? A white worn-once blazer came back dingy off-white; a pink sweater came back dull and pilled. The worst part was the attitude of the woman who said she was the owner (although we'd been given a man's name when we asked about the owner.) Rude, accusatory, and she completely refused to accept responsibility for what had been done in her shop. We won't be going back there. Ever. read more

I came here to get the sleeves on 3 shirts tailored-just the sleeves. I asked the guy working in there and he said that it shouldn't be more than $30 dollars. When I can back to pick them up they charge me $60! for the 3 shirts. $20 bucks! a shirt for just the sleeves is outrageous. Never coming back here again. I have sent items like pants in for repair on multiple occasions and paid for delivery. The pants took almost 2 months on one occasion and about 1.5 months on average. I politely call to ask the status, they give some excuse and apologize, but the repaired pants never arrive. I am always polite, but it seems like it is some kind of game where they promise to resolve the issue and nothing happens. At one point, the attendant promised to deliver it that day but was laughing in the background. Sure enough, the pants never arrived and this is after my 6th phone call in 4 weeks. read more

Last Saturday, I brought in three of my Coach bags to be cleaned. My two leather Coach purses were purchased from Ebay and it was dirty and reeked of smoke. After trying my own smoke ridding tricks and not getting any progress, it was time for the pros. The guy working there, Nick greeted me with a friendly hello and told me that my purses would be ready for pickup the following Saturday after 2pm. Fast forward on Saturday, the purses weren't ready yet. Nick told me either Monday or Tuesday after 3pm should be ready. I came back on Monday after 3pm...was told to come back Tuesday after 3pm -_- .... Tuesday 3:57pm...was told to come after 5pm...and by 5:35pm...it was ready for pickup. My Mom's fabric bag: it was well cleaned and like new again. My leather bag with the pink stripe was throughly cleaned and like new again, yay! Even the faint smoke smell was gone, woohoo! As for my big leather bag - the smell is still pretty faint, but not as disgusting as the previous week, but they did a pretty good job of cleaning the bag. When I picked it up, Nicole who was working there had mentioned that my bags had to be double scrubbed, which was why they held my bags for a couple of days. Overall, they did a pretty good job with the cleaning and the smoke smell was gone a lot more. One star off: it would have been nice if they called me to let me know about the delay since they had my number on the ticket and Nicole had taken it down on Monday in case if there's any further delays. read more

I should have known better. There were only seven reviews of this place, and I decided to give them a chance, even though half of them seemed like they were ready to worship at the feet of the owner. Remember ladies and gents, things that seem too good to be true, generally are. I dropped off several shirts on the Thursday before Easter, and the lady at the counter said they would be ready on Saturday. (No sign of the guy everyone had been gushing about as so friendly and so customer service oriented.) Anyway, her exact words were "Saturday, after 3 pm, but keep in mind that we close at 5 pm." She even gave me a claim ticket that said such. Fine by me, I think to myself, I'll have some nicely laundered shirts for church on Easter. But I guess the joke was on me. I show up at 4:15 on Easter Saturday, and the place is shut down tighter than Lindsay Lohan's ankle monitor. I even call...maybe they're inside and forgot they were supposed to be open. Maybe they're just starting to close 45-minutes early. No luck, though. So I didn't have clean shirts for Easter, which was no biggie. Life is about adapting to bad situations. But I go in today, the Monday after Easter, an the guy is there. I tell him that I'm unhappy that I was promised my laundry on Saturday, and he was nowhere to be found. "Sorry," he mumbles. "I had to go somewhere. I closed at 4. That will be fifteen dollars." Seriously, this is the wonderful dry cleaner who sits with the angels on high? You know, I'm pretty sure that because they farm out their services -- no actual cleaning done on the premises -- that these shirts will be clean and what I expected them to be, which is the basic dry cleaning that every such company in this city provides. And if I was content with: -Doing business with people who aren't accountable to their word... -Hiring a service and not caring when that task would be completed... -Putting all of my faith in a one-person operation, who has no contingency plan for when something happens to that one person... -the most mediocre level of customer service... ...If any of those were true I would definitely go back to this place again. But since none are, I won't. read more

This place sucks. They told me to picked up on Wednesday 5 pm. I walked in around 5:45pm. The lady told me there are still one shirt not coming back. And I saw all my other shirts are ready but without bagging. The point is that they asked you for phone number but they don't call you if the clothes are not ready. So I decided to go back on Friday to picked them all up at one time. I went back Friday, I saw my all my clothes are still not bagging, and they told me that one shirt was delayed is not cleaned because the shirt has a tear, they refused to wash it so they won't charge for it. Of course they have no right to charge it if they don't clean it, and they me went there for two trips. Plus, I asked her if they usually bag the clothes after they have it clean at once. She said yeah confidently. So I told her I saw they didn't bag the clothes for two days. And she was speechless. Very I professional cleaner, why should people send the clothes for you guys to clean but you guys don't keep them from dust, plus they are at the corner of two lanes.... Nature's Cleaners is extremely underestimated. This place goes above and beyond their pay grade. I took my wedding dress to be cleaned a bit ago. (Mind you; I got married almost 2 years ago, so the dirt and grime was well set into this thing) I honestly thought they would give it back with faded stains and an explanation of "we did the best we could". However, I was surprisingly mistaken. They gave it back to me as gorgeous as the day I bought it! A young man by the name of Gregory (?) was nothing short of a true gentleman when I received my dress back in shock. Even congratulated me on my (very delayed) nuptials. I asked to see the manager to, quite frankly, give him a hug and thank him! Arman then explained exactly how he treated my dress and the process of how he restored the hem. I will never forget Gregory and Arman's genuine hard work. If anyone needs ANYTHING pressed, cleaned, steamed... I highly recommend these guys. I grantee you, they will make your day! read more

There's a place next to my house that offers the same services but for some reason they charge almost twice as much as Hastings. So I drive down the road and get the best service and best prices. I've never had to stand in a line here. They've never lost any of my shirts. They hussle in that tiny little shack and sweat their asses off but somehow do it with a big smile. I am saddened to write this review because I was so hoping the new ownership would be great and we could continue using our neighborhood cleaners. There have been several problems from white shirts returned filthy on the cuffs and neckline to items taking up to 18 or 9 days to be ready. I've been patient and kept hoping it would improve with time. But the last thing I can't ignore. I had a $395 Helmut Lang Cashmere sweater completely ruined. I mean stretched out by 5 inches in length and 2 to 3 in width. The sleeves are supposed to be 3/4 sleeves and when i got it back they fell below my fingertips! When I took it back they said they would try to fix it but it is completely unwearable still. I was hoping to have the sweater for many many years. I talked to the owner and he eventually agreed to make good but he started negotiating like it was a car sale which felt very uncomfortable to me. I asked for money (not the whole amount) to compensate and he said okay as long as I returned the sweater. I got there and was informed the credit was in the form of a store credit. I said I would not be returning there anymore so the store credit does me no good. Crickets and blank stares... I left and now am just biding my time until the credit is gone so I can go elsewhere. If you have to use them I would limit the items to those you can afford to lose. read more
