My fiancé and I have been coming to this place for a long time now, him longer than I have. However, after our experience today, we won't ever be going back. And it's with a heavy heart that I say this because this was our cleaner for at least the past 2 years and my fiancés cleaner for much, much longer. We took in 6 very expensive shirts for them to alter last week. My fiancé tried on one shirt at the cleaners and told them to cut it a certain length. The guy took the measurement down and said he would ensure all of the shirts are the same length. Today, when my fiancé picked up his shirts, they all had weird holes in the collar that they definitely did not have before, and worse, they were all cut at different lengths. Even worse, the shirts were not cropped to the size my fiancé indicated. They looked like crop tops!!! They barely reached his waist! When we told the man the length that we wanted for his shirts, we told him at least 3-4 inches below the waist. We were very clear on the length the shirts had to be. The alterations on the shirts were also CROOKED and very uneven. It looked very unprofessional. So not only did they ruin $200+ worth of clothing that my fiancé now has to throw out (I don't even think Goodwill wants these messed up shirts), we also spent $100 for this horrible alteration job. We are super disappointed and are now in the search for a better cleaner. We won't be coming here again even though we've been longtime customers and loved the friendly service. read more

I have to say that I completely regret coming to this cleaners. I decided to get my clothes dry cleaned here because I bought a coupon from Double Take Deals (doubletakedeals.com) for Allstar Dry Cleaners. The coupon covered $20 worth of dry cleaning. I took a suit and two dresses to the dry cleaners and was unreasonably overcharged. I was charged almost $20 to clean a regular dress. I feel as if they raised the prices because I used a coupon. When I complained about this and asked for a more reasonable price for each dress, the worker, also the manager, John, was very rude and stubborn. He would not listen to what I had to say and eventually he started shouting many profanities and the fight escalated. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect as a customer. I would definitely not come back and do NOT recommend this place to anyone. There are much better dry cleaners around that have reasonable rates and friendly workers who are actually willing to help and listen to customers. read more

This place is in the same shopping center with Toy's R Us, Bed Bath & Beyond and all that stuff. My sister recommended this place to me because they are "non-toxic & environmentally friendly with work done on premises" so I thought, why not? They are quick, professional and reasonable. The man running the place, could be owner maybe, was very helpful to me. He told me about when a certain special would be running again & also offered to help carry out my huge feather bed to my car... VERY NICE! I'm convinced that there are no great cleaners on Huntington Drive in Monrovia! This is the worst of them all! I went there to have some pants altered and the lady that was there said she was going to do it and I even talked to her in length what I wanted. I come back a week later and this white man told me that the pants I brought were just pressed. WTF! I could've pressed the pants myself! This man was clearly mean and I didn't want to argue. He made me feel stupid when i clearly told the woman that took my clothes what I wanted. I even showed her and she said it'll be done. Clearly that woman lied to me and what made it worst was how the man treated me when I came back to pick up my clothes. What a jerk! Beware this place will rip you off! read more

I forgot that I had $2000.00 in my pants. I realize the time I called they refused that my money was in the pants. Only GOD knows who stole my hard earn money. I never got back my money. Speechless!! Horrible alteration service. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ALTERATION! Brought a new Hugo Boss suit in for alteration. Wanted the pant to be the same length as my old pair. Handed them the new and old and told them to make it the same length. Took it home and never tried it on. Took it out today and find that the new pair is 1.5 inch shorter than what I want. The stains were gone, the clothes smelled fresh, and the tailoring on my husband's shirt was amazing! There wasn't a single wrinkle on any of my clothes.
