Maybe they were having an off day, but my manicure was pretty disastrous. The technician unnecessarily applied glue and powder to all of my nails (instead of just trimming the one chipped nail), didn't file it down properly, and the polish was rushed and uneven. I have come here for a few years. I do my own nails at home but once in a while I treat myself to a gel manicure. They have a good policy about gel removal- you must get a manicure as well. They won't just remove the gel because your nails need care after. I usually pay someone $10 to remove it then do my own manicure at home but I thought "Why not?" The gel was removed today and I was charged for the removal and manicure but the lady didn't even touch my skin. There is a bunch of dead skin around the nail. So what did I pay for exactly? I don't like to hover and tell a technician "get this part" or "see that?" because I want to relax during my appointment. I trust that they will do a basic good job on their own. The last few times I've come in they rushed through the manicure and got me out without properly cleaning up the skin. Frustrating. read more

Not that happy with this last visit, Altho only my second one. I got a delux mani pedi with gel mani and they skipped a few steps - like the salt soak... that didn't happen. Also, the order of service was kind of chaotic. And I'm finding a lot of inconsistencies from my first visit. The lady who did my pedi had visibly shaky hands and... this is day 3 of my pedi - it took her many attempts to fix the messy pedi (there was a lot of color bleed and sloppy corners; so much so that my manicure lady looked down and called the other lady back to come and fix the pedicure). The mani was a little better but there was a lot of color still left on my fingertips and slightly unneat borders. I made it better by filing a little when I got home and I knew the fingertips would wear off on a day or two and I'm happy enough but... Wish I could give more stars. Their service is excellent from the standpoint of attentiveness, promptness, organization and mission statement. Yet they made A LOT of very basic mistakes. First off I had an owie, on the side of their one of my fingers, which I pointed out to them right at the start of my manicure. The manicurist selected the wrong finger three times in a row, Every time after I physically showed her which digit was sore, (the middle one) l, by grasping it with my thumb and forefinger and saying "this one", she marked the wrong finger (how does anyone even confuse the ring finger with the middle finger to begin with?). She marked the wrong one TWICE, despite this. Finally, after I raised my voice slightly and grasped my finger with my fist in frustration, she marked the correct digit. Then not five minutes later, and despite the bright red dot of finger polish, she forgot, and twice went over the spot roughly. Later on a different manicurist (they work in tandem, which is a fun touch) was working on me and accidentally used the cuticle trimmers on the skin of my finger tip. She just pinched me, did not break the skin but I let out a loud shout in pain. Then she lied about it to me and to her boss, who of course came right over, claiming falsely that she'd only been using the emery board and trying to make it seem as if I was complaining about nothing. I paid a lot for a hand massage, but it was the very worst one I have ever received. Normally it puts me in instant euphoria! This was so lackluster I was wishing it was over after five minutes. It was also EXPENSIVE. Finally when the manicure was nearly over, as a finishing coup-de-gras, my manicurist used THE EMORY BOARD AND FIRMLY FILED THE ENDS OF ALL MY NAILS, completely ruining the gel seal on the nail edge of my manicure! When I called back the next day to say that my nail ends felt rough and things were already peeling and chipping, the owner told me they ALWAYS file the ends of the gel nails at the end of the manicure and if they didn't do this, it would void the one week warranty against chipping! Weird. This experience takes the cake. I'm done. She offered not to fix the mistake but only to "take a look". Well, here's a look, less than 24 hours later. I did not do any house work just shopping and getting dressed. I hadn't even showered. The way they look is BAAAAAD. On the plus side, they are a cooperative and there's no slave labor, everyone is cheerful and the customers seem very friendly too! They make the best homemade lemonade I've ever tasted (just like my own!). I was so excited to try them. But after this sad performance, I can't see why I ought to return. read more

Went to catch up with a friend and self-care and was my first time. I felt like out of all the nail shops I tried so far this one was my least favorite. I felt like the prices were reasonable and the staff was nice but I felt like we were told 5 pm was okay (6pm closing) and when we were sat down it was rushed. I flinched a few times during my pedicure, and not the ticklish kind but I wish they were a tab more gentle with the cuticle trimming part. I wasn't bleeding or anything but I'm not used to getting something relaxing at super speed. I did like that when I said no polish, they didn't insist. As a Muslim I appreciate that since I cannot pray with nail polish. I got the deluxe pedi that includes paraffin wax, a longer massage and a scrub. I typically don't care for massages so I will not ask for it and prefer a better scrub ( my heels still have roughness). Masks are required and I recommend it since EVERY chair was filled and the place is small. Overall, I put 4 stars because the pedi was okay and the place was okay, I was just looking for a more serene experience. If you want to relax, maybe go to another place, but if you want a quick but good pedi, this is the place for you. read more

I've been here three times now post-COVID after trying several other spots in the area. I recommend this place over others for several reasons. Most importantly, they always start your reservation on time and take pride in this. It helps that they have 8+ pedicure chairs and lots of staff.
