I'm updating my review due to the fact that so far this year, I've had several eye situations occur. They were all treated by or discussed with the doctors at Natick Eye Associates. I had floaters and flashes, then trichiasis (an ingrown eyelash) and currently I'm being treated for an eye abrasion. Every doctor who I have seen (no pun intended!) has been personable and professional. I have never felt rushed when I am in the examination room. The doctors take the time to make sure that you understand what's going on with your eye(s). In addition to Dr. Ginsberg, I've been treated by Dr. Hahn, Dr. Zodikoff and Dr. Golebiowski. They are all exceptional eye doctors. I'd like to add that the desk staff and the medical assistants who do the eye examinations and put drops in your eyes are kind and friendly and welcome you with a smile. Kaityln, Jackie, Josh and everyone else gets a big thank you from me! read more

My exam was with Dr Keith Andrews, and I highly recommend him. Took the time to explain my differences eye needs as well as detailing out the tests the nurse did and results. Great people skills and easy to talk to. Wish all my doctors were a well educated and as nice as Dr. Andrews. FYI the practice is under Lencecrafter but it is also under Natick Eye and includes Peabody Eye. read more

Finally an eye doctor that I like. I've changed eye doctors almost every year since moving to New England (I even paid full price to see my old doc in Florida a few times when I was down visiting because my MA insurance doesn't work down there!) and they have all been lack-luster at best. Not Dr. Ginsberg. He was professional and a good listener. When we got to my prescription he asked what I paid for contact and I looked it up and he goes "Oh, yeah, but from them" because the online vendor I used was running a special he couldn't match. EVERY OTHER eye doc I've been too up here gave me grief not buying from them but not Dr Ginsberg. He just wanted me to have great care and affordable lenses. I can assure you that if the price difference is nominal in the future, I will definitely just buy from him. Also, they have that imaging machine that takes a picture of your entire eyeball that lets them track changes over time and can more like prevent major issues. Win for that too. read more

Worst customer service from front desk personnel I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. I would give 0 stars if I could. I had my annual checkup about 2 months ago and I'm still waiting for a prescription for my contacts to be able to order my supply. They blame it on their system being down. read more

I have been to this location over the years. Must tell you every time my experience improved. Had a basic appointment today and showed up slightly early with the expectation that I would need to wait--- the person behind the desk was very nice and then told me to go into the pre-screening room... expected to wait for 10 minutes but instead a very nice person came in and did all the pre-screens necessary for the visit. Professional. The measurement of IOP and then the examination of the retina (with lovely pictures) occurred quickly because the instructions were clear. I then finished with that--waited for a moment-- and then was refracted for my glasses. Could not have been happier. No hesitation. Would refer others. Will be going again next year. Lovely surroundings. read more

I came here for an eye exam because I noticed a vision problem in one of my eyes. I met with one of the Dr's and he diagnosed me something he said I had had my whole and sent me on my way. I asked if I should schedule to come back in to have it checked on and he said no and gave me a rx for glasses and said it won't help the bad eye but it will protect the good eye - he was totally trying to sell a pair of glasses!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone - they diagnosed me completely wrong and now I am getting treatment and eye may improve someday!! read more

This business lost our trust this year. We were informed separately the voluntary Retinal Scan (no ins coverage) now REQUIRED during the pre exam due to COVID, no warning, just expected to pay. Can't find medical justification for this anywhere. Needed to refund an overbuy of contacts, falsely told rebate was good, not so. Also told no refund to card allowed, also false. left feeling deceived. read more

Sweetie has a blind eye. She was born without an Iris on one eye. She never has had a good evaluation of what that means, or even has gotten an MRI of her eye. Here, with Doc Ginsburg she got that for cheap, and a thorough evaluation of her eye health, which left her with a happy heart. So we recommended her to Dawn, who just went there, and thanked me for the referral. He made sure she was getting her contacts for cheaper than he could provide them. Me, I have floaties from the impact of my accident. Floating specks in my vision. They are either from busted blood vessels, or a partially detached retina. Either way, I know I can get an MRI from this joint for a reasonable price. So, I am going for it. read more

Same issue as prior reviews -- I was charged the extra fee for retinal imaging and was not given any warning that this cost would be incurred (whether verbally or in writing). The doctor was great, but this charging practice is bogus. read more

I like convenience. They are located inside/attached to a Lenscrafters. How much more convenient can you get. For the initial exam, I found that the front desk staff as well as some of the other employees convened by the front desk to chit chat and pass time. I don't need, nor do I want to hear what your weekend plans are. However, when actually put to work, they were helpful and professional. My doctor was helpful and very business-like. No time for chit chat or small talk. But I guess in a business like that where you see so many new people who you may never see again, there is no time to really get personal. Fine by me, since I'm not great at small talk. I was thrilled when after my last visit, I was told I would not have to go there to pick up my contacts. Not necessarily a terrible place to go, but I know there's better out there and if I wasn't so stuck on convenience, I would shop around. read more

I have gone to this office a few times because it was more convenient to my location. I had been going to another doctor but they had retired. In my first visit I was welcomed in the reception area by 2 attentive technicians who got me registered and in the pre-examination room promptly. The eye doctor, Dr. Ginsberg was very attentive and professional. What I really like about him was his honesty when going over options. He definitely was not trying to upsell me as he more guided me to the solution that gave me what I needed at the lowest cost. I would recommend this office to others. read more

I was told they were in network. I confirmed the day of that the exam had no copay. When I checked out, I was told I owed $39 for a retinal exam I never asked for. I wish I had read the other reviews before I booked my appointment. If I had done the exam at a doctor's office with my health Insurance, I would have paid 20. Using an Eye Med in network location cost me twice as much WIITH eye insurance. They should ask for consent before they do the scan, not do it as part of the exam and then demand payment. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at Natick Eye Associate in Natick. I had noticed that my vision wasn't as clear as it used to be and realized it had been a while since I had had my eyes examined and gotten my glasses. I was able to make an appointment for the same day using their online form. When I arrived the office staff was courteous and friendly. The assistant who did my preliminary screening made me feel at ease as she went through a series of questions and tests. Next I met Dr. Zodikoff and again I was happy with the friendly, professional care I received. An added bonus of this office is having LensCrafters right there to get your glasses the same day as your appointment. I went back later that day to pick up my new glasses and the world is much clearer now. read more

I was not made aware of a mandatory $39 charge for a retinal scan at the time I made an appointment.

I have worked/been to many eye doctors offices throughout the North Shore as a optometric technician before and can not rave enough about my experience at Natick Eye Associates's Burlington Optometric Associates office. There was a young man named Chris that works there and he was very professional, informative, and genuinely cared about how he treated patients. Being in the field myself I understand how furstraiting it can be dealing with the public. People forget that it is a doctors office and that they have to make an apointment regardless of where the office is located. My prescreening went very smoothly and he took the time to go through everything thoughly. The problem with most eye doctors offices these days is that they try to fit too many people in a short amount of time and many don't get the attention that they need. That was not the case here. I saw Dr.Hahn and must say that he was very pleasant to deal with as well. Great Job, and keep up the great work! read more

Saw Dr. Sharma to get my contacts/glasses Rx updated & for a general eye exam. Dr. Sharma, the office staff and nurses/technicians were all entirely pleasant and competent. I had no issues with the eye exam itself or any employee. It's the customer service after the appointment that is terrible here: Where Natick Eye Associates fails miserably is that they are extremely uncooperative when it comes to validating your prescriptions with 3rd party contact lens retailers--e.g., 1-800 CONTACTS. I always use 1-800CONTACTS as their contact lens deals usually wind up being 1/2 price relative to what the Dr charges. Natick Eye Assoc is no exception--they tried to sell me more contacts at a rip-off price. I declined, knowing I'd order elsewhere. However, when it came to verifying my prescription, the office refused to do so when 800-contacts called them for verification--despite the fact I had a valid, current prescription. They wanted to force me into buying lenses from them instead. In the end, I was able to work around this hassle--I sent a copy of my Rx in directly to 800-contacts myself--but had I not kept that little piece of paper I would have been forced to buy rip-off lenses from Natick Eye Assoc. Accordingly, if you like to order lenses via phone/online, I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this eye care provider. Terrible customer service overall. Never will return after this negative experience--there are plenty of other options nearby. read more

If there was a zero star, I would have given that. Unfriendly staff and unfair practices. These guys are cheating customers in the name of COVID! Withholding information and disclosures regarding insurance coverage prior to any test is not a fair practice but they do. All eye checkups usually run your insurance, take the copay and then do the tests. These guys will run all possible tests and then try to bill you full amount telling that your insurance is not covering anything. Be sure to protest it and then only they will magically find your insurance details. Also they will tell you that retinal imaging is mandatory in COVID. Do note that there is no relation between retinal imaging and COVID. Avoid this place at any cost. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been coming here for years but after NUMEROUS incidents with the front desk I think I will take my business elsewhere. I honestly don't think I have ever been treated so poorly by front desk staff in any other business, ever. They always seem so annoyed, unpleasant, condescending and are straight up rude. It literally shocks me that I continue seeing the same faces throughout the years despite numerous reports of front desk associates being incredibly unprofessional. One of the rudest is Kaitlin ( unfortunately I'm not sure if I spelled her name right). Such a shame because actual doctors / nurses are always very sweet, pleasant and professional. Fire your front desk, this absolutely unacceptable. read more

I had one of the most unpleasant, rude and discourteous customer service I've ever experienced. Their receptionist Nathalie was very rude and unpleasant. She actually screamed at me. I complained once before about the way they treated me and they didn't even apologize. If you don't want an unpleasant experience, take your business elsewhere. read more

Dr. Ginsberg and his team are lovely- I had a great experience with each person in the office. They were quick and efficient (on a holiday afternoon!) and made sure I had the correct prescription. Dr. Ginsberg took the time to ensure all of my questions were answered, and did a thorough exam. Thank you! read more

I tried this place out in February. It was conveniently located, but the convenience stopped there. The receptionists were incredibly rude. I would have thought they'd want more personable people running the desk! The woman I checked in with didn't even look up from her screen before telling me to pick up a new patient form and sign it. They were just in a messy pile on the counter, no clip board for me to write on. While I read through the document she took my insurance card and asked me the name of the policy holder (it's on the card). I told her, and then she asked me how to spell it. I've never had that happen at a doctor's office before. The other girl noticed that I was displeased and asked me why. I told her, so then she ask another assistant to be careful with me because I was already having a bad experience. She said all this well within earshot. I had given them all of my insurance information over the phone but somehow it failed to make it into the system (?????). I was stuck waiting in the office for 45 min before anyone would see me. Service was cold and the office is poorly organized. Not the kind of office I want to give my money to. read more

I had a very positive experience with Natick Eye. I found this office to be very well run and very professional. I originally found this practice Caredash and tried to make an appt with Dr. Ginsberg. I got one with Dr. Vechiarello instead and she was great. Super professional, enthusiastic and nice. Felt the charges were really reasonable and they accepted BCBS no problem (the whole appt covered except for contact fitting). read more

I saw Dr. Ginsberg recently for an eye examine and new glasses. I learned more about my eyes than I ever have in this visit. Great staff. Highly professional. I recommend them without reservation. I am seeing more clearly as well. Glad they are in the neighborhood. read more

Dr. Ginsburg is great. I've referred many people to him over the years and really recommend him! :)

Very thorough and professional staff- doctor really took the time to do a full exam for both glasses and contacts and allowed me to try various options until one felt great and matched my needs. The whole family uses this office after having tried multiple others and I highly recommend them read more

My children and I have been seeing to Dr Zodikoff and Natick Eye Associates for many years. They are always on time, professional and caring. This time my eyes were bothering me and I thought I had conjunctivitis. Dr. Zodikoff examined me and told me it was allergies but took the time to go over solutions and options for my eyes. Always very knowledgeable and thorough. I cannot say enough about this practice. read more

Great optometrist close to home. So convenient, was able to schedule a next day appointment on their website with no issues. The following day I showed up for my appointment they were on time and very nice. They took all major eye insurances. I went for both glasses and contacts. They allowed me to trial several different types of contacts lenses to see which felt best to me. They gave me my glasses prescription same day and I will see them in a week to make sure the contacts are still working well with my eyes. I also appreciated they had retinal imaging available if you wanted it. read more

I had a horrible experience here. I've been wearing glasses for 25 years and contacts for most of that time (I got glasses at 18 months and contacts at 8 -- so I've clearly spent plenty of time in eye doctors offices). I needed an eye doctor since I recently moved to the area and this seemed like a convenient place so I tried to go there. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Zodikoff. The trouble started when they did the basic exam. The assistant who was working with me refused to listen to me when I told her I could not see or read things. The rest of my experience was alright that visit, but the next visit things continued to be handled in an unprofessional manner. After waiting for over two weeks for my trial pair of contacts I was excited to go in and see how they worked! but when I got there and put them in I couldn't see ANYTHING. Instead of listening to me they told me that I just needed to let them settle and then proceeded to make me sit there in them until I was nauseous waiting for my appointment. Turns out, they ordered the exact opposite of my prescription. Nothing was done to remedy the situation and I had to wait another three weeks to get the trial they had originally intended to order. I scheduled my next appointment with Dr. Ginsberg because Dr. Zodikoff was unavailable. This appointment went well until three weeks later when I called to see where the second pair of trial contacts was. They told me they couldn't find the order and they would call me back. They never did, so I called them back the next day. I was told that the order wasn't placed until the day prior. Then when I pointed out that it should have been made 3 weeks prior they told me it had been. No apologies were made and nothing was done for the inconvenience. I requested to be refused (I had paid for the contacts in advance) and was told they could do that but that they would be "unable" to give any other eye doctor any information on my behalf. So, now, over 2 months later, I am beginning the whole process again. Do yourself a favor -- don't waste your time or money here. They are unprofessional, unapologetic, and unorganized. read more

I've been going to Natick Eye Associates since they opened. As a pilot and race driver, my eyesight is vitally important to me and my pursuit of the absolute best possible correction is never-ending. Dr. Ginsberg has always been extremely understanding of my situation and has provided the best eye care I've experienced anywhere. In fact, though I've lived out of state for a few years now, he's still the only optometrist I trust with my vision correction needs. Very highly recommended!! read more

I have been a patient of Dr Ginsberg and Dr Zodikoff since shortly after their practice opened (I won't say how long ago that was!). They have the nicest office! And what makes their office the nicest is their staff! They are really top notch! Not to take anything away from the Dr's in the practice, they take the time to know each and every one of their patients! From the moment I walk in the door, to even the ride home, when I think about my interaction with Natick Eye Associates I have a happy thought and a smile on my face! Keep up the great work! read more

Charged me for a service I didn't ask for, didn't receive, and wasn't informed in advance I might be receiving. They did not bother to get my consent first. Stopped by for my annual eye examination. When asked if my insurance company would cover the visit in full, the receptionist answered "yes". At the end of the visit, she changes her story and tells me that I owe $40 for a contact lens fit that I did not ask for, did not receive, and was not informed in advance that I might even be liable for. I filed a formal complaint with the bureau for better business and am taking Natick Eye Associates to small claims court if need be, not because of the trivial amount of money involved, but to ensure they don't try to squeeze extra money from more unsuspecting customers. The reason they gave me for adding the extra fee? That customers every year must get a contact lens fit in order to buy contact lenses! But do customers not have the right to choose who to get the contact lens fit from? Do I not have the right to receive *only those services I explicitly asked for*? I resent being treated as property. Natick Eye Associates does not have the right to assume that I will give them my business for the contact lens fit. They do not have the right to force a hidden service and fee down my throat simply because I happened to walk into their office. read more

I've been going to Natick Eye assoc for a couple of years now and every time I went there I had a good experience. Wait time was minimal, staff was very helpful and professional and Dr Ginsberg was great as usual. Very helpful and thorough with his exam and never pressured me or my wife to buy glasses or contacts through them. As a matter of fact quite the opposite. Once my wife ran out of contacts because the online order was late and the staff at NEA gave her some free of charge to get her through until the online order arrived. Everyone has a bad day now and then but it's no reason to go online and disparage the business without first trying to resolve the issue with them. I guess it's a sign of today's social media generation. So quick to complain but never have the time to compliment good service. You can't go wrong with NEA. read more

Wow. I got my eyes checked here no problem, but after my 4 year old literally almost got run over by an employee in an Acura in the parking lot while we were getting his glasses fixed I will not go back ever again. The doctor heard me complain, saw this very young employee give me an attitude and nobody even apologized. I actually had to clutch him from the road. If employees are willing to risk lives of kids to cut 10 seconds off the time it takes for them to get to work (not our fault she was late) then the three people who wear glasses in my family will have to seek optical care elsewhere. read more

I would definitely recommend Natick Eye Associates. I have been a patient there for several years. The staff there is great! They are very helpful and kind. I've seen several doctor within this office and they were all wonderful. They treat each patient with care. I am actually very suprised with the negative reviews. I had a GREAT experience at Natick Eye Associates. Dr. Ginsberg was so friendly and knowledgeable and, after several bad experiences with wrong prescriptions by other eye doctors - I can see again! Can't ask for more than that :). Dr. Ginsberg takes his time with each patient and listened to all my concerns. I really felt like I was given a good thorough eye exam. It is also extremely convenient that Natick Eye Associates is attached to a Lens Crafters (it should be noted that Dr. Ginsberg's practice is completely separate from Lens Crafters and he is not trying to sell you on buying their glasses in any way). Thanks to Dr. Gisberg and his staff for such a positive experience. read more
