Absolutely terrible terrible customer service! I've been waiting for four weeks for my glasses and every time I've called to check on them they tell me to call back that they don't know etc. I finally just got through to a very rude person on the phone who said we called you this morning to tell you they were ready Which they did not and I asked them what number they were calling and they said do you want me to go through my call list? I said no I'll come down and show you my call list that you did not call me. They told me they were ready, but I had to make an appointment to come pick them up, but I chose to come pick them up with the appointment. No one can fit them to tell me if they're OK. I would have to make an appointment to come back to see the eye doctor so that's another charge , I made the mistake of going back there after not being happy with them. Terrible terrible customer service.!!!!! And I paid triple the amount I would someplace else I don't recommend them. I don't recommend their doctors. I don't recommend anything about it for a customer service person we called you. You want to look at my call list !!!! I will pick up my glasses and I will bring them to one of the walk-in places in the malls and I'm sure they'll adjust them for me at no charge I went in to get my glasses and the girl at the front desk was rude than she was on the phone. She had a sweet voice and all, but she was rude. She argued with me, insisted that she called me, but she did not if she had called me yesterday to tell me, my glasses were ready I wouldn't be calling them asking them if they were ready . Very very poor customer service you can smile all you want sitting behind that desk but when you're rude and you challenge your customer and you tell the customer they're wrong you're wrong . To eyecare place where there's no doctors available when you come in to pick up your glasses is ridiculous. They want you to make an appointment to come in and get them therefore they're gonna charge you for that visit. read more

Be very careful when they call you to schedule an annual eye examination. Even though they have your insurance information on file, they don't tell you that your insurance may only cover an eye examination once every two years. It's only when the examination is completed and you check out that they inform you that your health insurance only covers an examination once every two years and stick you with the entire bill. read more

The appointment itself was great but the process to order my contacts was way too complicated. getting a price estimate on my contact took over two weeks from the day of the appointment, then after finally speaking to someone on ordering them i come to find out the order was never put in after 3 weeks. after attempting to get someone on the phone for a couple days i leave a voicemail and on the same day my card was charged double of what was discussed it would cost to get my contacts. i finally get someone on the phone and the wrong contacts were ordered and had to once again re explain my situation to get everything resolved and order the correct contacts. nice people but really bad to get orders through in a timely organized manner. read more

I am the mom of the patient who is 16. We recently went to Dr.Tomasino office for my sons yearly eye appointment. My son was fitted for contacts for the second time with this office and Dr. Tomasino and her staff refused to provide me with my sons contact prescription because they would like for me to only purchase the contacts through them. They did the same thing to us last year and I did not really think too much into it, but I have noticed a pattern now of where my sons contact prescriptions have been held from us after I paid for the exam out of pocket in order to force us to purchase contacts through their office. The entire time my son was being fitted for his contacts the girl at the front desk kept repeating herself saying how they will give us a discount when we purchase with them. They are trained to try to slip in extra services and direct you in the direction to spend more money with them. When the appointment was finished, the front desk staff decided to give my son a trial for contacts that he has already wore for a year but we were told the prescription slightly changed. They did not have the correct prescription it changed to for one of the eyes so he could try a slightly higher prescription for now. I said okay but may I please have a copy of what was found today for his contact prescription so I could provide my sons sports team with the information for summer camp. The woman said she would email it to me the following day because the doctor just needed to finish with another patient. I said okay and my son and I left. The following morning I called to remind them of the email for my sons contact prescription and the same woman who promised to send the email was now stating she would not send me the prescription until we were ready to order the contacts with them. I begged over the phone to have this sent to me and they were very rude. I stated I was going to report a complaint and they said go ahead they did not care they were not going to provide me with my sons contact prescription I paid for. I then asked for the providers license number and was refused by staff. Now I am here, I have reported a complaint with the Department of Public Health Bureau of Health Professions Licensure & the FTC after doing research to find her license number on my own since her office refused to provide it. & I plan to report further as I do more research on what can be done in this matter. I do not think it's okay for this doctor to withhold my sons eye prescriptions from him to force him to purchase with them. I did not think this provider would do this to us again. I do not know what else to do. My son really needs his prescription to provide for football camp. Plus the fact that we paid for it out of pocket and should be able to receive it before we left. The doctor and her staff also tried to tell me that my son was not eligible to receive his free pair of glasses from masshealth because she wanted us to purchase glasses with her, however I am very much aware that my son receives a free pair of glasses every 12 months. They seemed to be disgusted that we were using masshealth and have a good portion of services covered. This is very concerning for me. I feel like my son and I were treated poorly and taken advantage of both times as well as discriminated against. I would not recommend going here, especially if you are of color and if you are on masshealth. If you do go here, ask as many questions as possible. Dr. Tomasino encourages her staff to slip in services for you to pay out of pocket that may not be necessary, & they may also try to lie to you by telling you that your insurance does not cover something so you could pay out of pocket. I feel like I was discriminated against because I am black and receive state insurance for my son. Wonderful eye doctor. Listens to you, makes you feel comfortable, and very knowledgeable. I had problems with my last eye doctor whose prescription did not suit my eyes and had to revert back to old one. Dr. Susan knew exactly what was wrong and now after wearing new prescribed glassses for 3 months, i am very happy. We have been patients at this office for several years. My husband experienced an eye emergency at 7:30 one weekday evening. We called Dr. Tomasino's office immediately. She was still in the office and told us to come right down. She spent at least 45 minutes giving my husband a thorough examination and then spent time detailing the situation. She is so knowledgeable and makes the patient feel comfortable and secure in receiving the best care. She went above and beyond for us that evening. Dr. Tomasino was pleasant and gave me a quality eye exam. However, after my exam I requested printouts of my prescriptions and was told they would be emailed to me. After getting no emails for two days I had to go back into the office and ask for my prescriptions in person. It is illegal practice for eye doctors to withhold prescriptions from patients. In fact, federal law requires a copy of the prescription to be given to the patient whether requested or not. I understand Natick Eye Care wants patients to order through them, but not giving me my prescriptions after repeated requests left me with an extremely bad impression of their business practices. Especially after I paid for one exam out of pocket. Patients should know their rights when using this business. I have had many, many eye exams in my life and I cannot express how impressed I was with Dr. Tomasino and her wonderful staff. She did an extremely thorough and comprehensive exam, better than many I have had to have with ophthalmologists, and was very detailed in explanations. I highly, highly recommend her. Her staff was wonderful and Tammy was great with helping me pick out glasses and seemed knowledgeable in the different types of lenses. I am disappointed with the service. Had my eye examined and ordered for contact lenses. For this job I had to visit the office more than 5 times. After eye exam, I was told they were out of sample trials and was asked to come back the next day, but they didn't have them at my second visit. At the third visit they gave me different trials than what I waited for. It took almost a month for my contact lenses order to arrive. When I picked them up, the girl at the front desk was working with an attitude and not professional. She searched for my orders in drawers and kept throwing other bag orders to the floor, in front of me...With such experience, I am not coming back to this eye doctor office. read more

Went into this office after it was highly recommended by family members. I was covered by MassHealth. Needed new contacts and glasses. Was seen by Dr. Tomasino and placed my contacts and glasses on order (or so I thought). Contacts took 3 weeks longer than what I was told to receive them. The glasses, which were covered by MassHealth, were to take up to three months. At the three month mark, I called the office several times to inquire about my glasses. Each time was given no information and to call back the following week. I decided to go into the office. Dr. Tomasino directly told me that MassHealth did not send the correct glasses. I left the office and called Masshealth. They had no records of any glasses being ordered for me. I was furious that I was lied to by the owner of this business. I would have been much more understanding is she had just said there was a mistake rather than deliberately lying to my face. A week later I get a call from Tammy. She tells me that they will be buying me a pair of glasses (which is why I gave them 2 stars instead on 1) and I would hear back in a week. Three weeks later and I call to find out more information. Tammy tells me that the glasses have been in for weeks and that she had called me and told me this (lie #2 from this office). At first I was furious over the entire situation. Now I am just embarrassed at how these individuals can call themselves professionals. read more

Just a lucky pick for me when I chose Natick Eye Care--I'd had no previous recommendation myself, but they were close by and covered by my insurance plan. However, now I can highly recommend Natick Eye Care. Catherine, Tammy, and Dr. Susan Tomasino are friendly and take the time to make you feel at ease. There is never a sense that you are being rushed--from the minute Catherine greeted me with a big smile as I came in the door and then did some initial testing, to my thorough exam by Dr. Tomasino, to the long consultation I had with Tammy about contacts and computer glasses. Getting the contacts in didn't come easily to me; I was quite nervous about touching my eyeballs and getting those contacts in! I also tfelt discouraged when I didn't learn in the first session. But Tammy was supportive, encouraging, and patient. As was Dr. Tomasino when it came to fine-tuning the contacts. I liked the warm, personal care I got from everyone here. read more
