Paid for medium sized frames, transitional lenses and express shipping which costed me over $300. The glasses received were not the ones I purchased but they still charged me for the return. All-in-all, they basically scammed me out of two weeks pay plus an extra 20$ for insult to injury. GlassesUSA has been extremely disappointing. I purchased my glasses from one of their physical stores and paid for a warranty specifically so I could update my prescription in the future while keeping the same frames. When it came time to use the warranty, I was told the frames were out of stock. Instead of honoring what I purchased the warranty for, they offered me store credit. The problem is that their physical store has since closed, so I no longer have the option to try on frames in person. The only reason I chose GlassesUSA in the first place was because they had a retail location, as I do not like shopping for glasses online. I explained all of this to customer service and requested a refund since they could no longer provide what I originally paid for. However, they repeatedly told me that refunds are not allowed because it was a warranty, even though that warranty was purchased specifically to keep the same frame. I ordered my prescription Holbrook sunglasses from glassesusa.com on 10/28, received them on 11/10. The quality was very poor as the lenses were too small to cover the entire existing lens. And they weren't the same on each side, leaving big, uneven gaps on both lenses. I sent pics to @glassesusa, and they agreed to make replacements. The replacement sunglasses finally showed up, and they were just as poor quality as the originals! I contacted customer service and asked for a refund since their quality was so poor. They said their policy was no refunds on the second pair. My thought is that I gave them two chances, and they were both very poor so I'd rather just purchase them somewhere else. Two different customer service agents promised me I would hear from them within two days and that I would get the refund. The first chat was on 11/26, and the second was on 12/02. Still have not heard a word from them!!! They both basically lied to me as I was reassured they would send the info to their returns team. VERY POOR QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I could give this company less than a 1 Star rating, I would. I ordered a pair of prescription Sunglasses 3 weeks ago. Since then, they have messed up an add-on for AR coating and sold me a warranty I did not want. Broke the original pair I ordered, lied to me about the replacement pair of glasses being out of stock, messed up three additional attempts to add substitute frames to my order, then tried to charge me an additional $15 for frames which were $13 cheaper than the originals even though they claimed to have given me a $25 credit toward more expensive frames. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a company. DO NOT buy from them if you can avoid it, but know what you are getting into if you do. The screw on my glasses frame loosen and fell off. I couldn't re-screw it back on. I tried to initiate my protection plan, but they didn't have the frames I wanted. So, I wanted a refund (I was even willing to do a partial refund) to get the frames I wanted. They refused and insisted on in store credit, but I didn't want an in store credit because they didn't have the same frame in stock. I really liked the frame and I wasn't willing to settle on other frames on their website. Instead, I wanted to find the same frames from other sites. I talked to customer service and they were horrible. The lady refused to listen to my concern. I asked if I could speak to management, a supervisor, or someone higher up to see if they could work something out (again, I wouldn't mind a partial refund). She said there was none available. I asked when will there be one available, so I can call back. She said there was none, and hung up on me. Our call wasnt done and I, as a customer, felt the call was ended prematurely.
