The last time I went to Natale's, I had a very disappointing experience. I came in with a bridesmaid dress a few weeks before the wedding, needing to get it hemmed and taken in on the sides. I picked it up a couple weeks later and it felt like a different dress. The hem was perfectly done, but all the work they had done to take it in on the bodice changed the neckline of the dress, the ruching on the bodice, and messed with the pleats that were in the skirt. The slit in the skirt now bunches and bubbles out, and the pleat on the other side looks "open" when it laid flat before. They could tell that I was disappointed and immediately got defensive, saying "We only hemmed it!" When I pointed out that they did not only hem it, they said "Well that wasn't us, but you can take it somewhere to press it and it might fix it. We can't help you." Again - the hem was great, so if you're going there just for a hem then it's fine. I wish that the seamstress had talked with me beforehand in the initial consultation about how the dress would be changed, because if I knew that, I wouldn't have altered it. I paid $105 and did not even wear the dress in the wedding. read more

I needed a jumpsuit altered. The flared leg portion was just too wide! As always I tried it on at the place of business. I returned and I was very impressed with the quality of their workmanship once I put it on again. What a huge but beautiful difference. I would absolutely return as always. I had a last minute family event I had to attend and needed to have the sleeves of a sport jacket shortened by more than an inch; not a real simple task. Visited Mr. Natale's shop on a Friday, explained the situation, and asked if he'd be able to do it in a week. He not only did an excellent job on the jacket but had it done the following Tuesday, three days before promised. I will be using his shop for all my alterations in the future. read more

I needed a rush job on a simple dress that was too long. I called early in the morning and they were the first to answer and say bring it in. I was surprised when they said to come back in 30 minutes and it was done! The stitch work looks good and if it doesn't hold up I'll be back to let you know. There are a million other places to go, i urge you to go to any other one than this one. I should of known better leaving my dresses there when I walked in and they had lost a woman's pants she had hemmed.. Anyway 60$ and 3 weeks later they finished 2 of my 20$ dresses I needed a simple hem on but.. Left the back so long that it looked like I had tails. They overwork and under pay an older woman, I really feel bad for her. She works all night even on Sunday's! Also good luck communicating with them, the owner just Um hummed me and told me to go to her restaurant lemongrass, and that Americans needed her, whatever that even means... I can promise you I will NEVER eat there let alone walk back in that corrupt shop!! Its too bad because I really liked that poor woman that works there day and night... So sad read more

I think the dress was made for an older teenager that doesn't mind seeing their whole midsection. The dress was also trimmed underneath so my daughter wouldn't trip in it. Amazing job!! read more

I've had a few items altered by Natale's and I haven't been disappointed. From designer dresses to vintage skirts, I trust them with all of my clothes. I wish they did dry cleaning and cobbling, too! As other reviewers have said, the prices are reasonable. Lined dress/skirt hems are $25, pants are $12. I also had a dress taken in for about $20. The sweet ladies who work there are very thorough in taking your measurements and listening to what you would like done. They are AMAZING. I was fitted for a bridesmaid dress at 4 months pregnant (which I needed to wear at 8.5 months pregnant). The dress store that fitted me WAY over estimated how much extra room I would need and I ended up with a dress I could get on and off without unzipping. Natale's recommended I do the alterations 2 weeks before the wedding so I'd be as close as possible to the same size (which i really appreciated) and ended up taking over a foot of fabric out of the sides. The dress now fits perfectly and the price was VERY reasonable. Everyone was friendly and professional and the seamstress who did the work was very talented. Highly recommend them! read more

This place is amazing. I walked in with an emergency broken zipper on my dress. They had a lot of work and were short staffed. I go here for all my alterations but most recently I went in to get my VERSACE skirt to. be taken in. My lady ruined the hem line and detached and attached the tag very badly so bad that the tag was hanging by one thread. I took it back and told them how the sew line wasn't straight... She tried to fix it and she explained to me that there wasn't enough fabric to get a straight hem. THIS IS UNDERSTANDABLE BUT MY PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THAT SHE HAD NO REMORSE and she couldn't have called me before she did job cause iI explained to her that because it is a name brand skirt that she ruined the whole reason I brought that skirt... I mind as well brought a no brand skirt with the same style. I am Soo sad about this because they normally do a great job and the owner is wonderful. FANTASTIC! This place is great. If you are looking for a quality tailor at a reasonable price, look no further. I was recently in a bind and needed some pants hemmed last minute for a wedding. Every other place told me it would be a couple of days. I found Natale from the great recommendations on Yelp. I called Natalee and explained the situation, they graciously agreed to help me out. They told me to come right over and they fixed them on the spot. The owner personally helped me, and you can tell he is a true tailor just by the way he works and his attention to detail. The pants were perfect and the customer service was out of this world. I live in the city and will now make it a point to take everything to Natale. I brought them 5 pair of pants to be taken up. one they forgot to alter, but charged me, one was still too long and had to be realtered, and the coup de grace, one they cut one leg too short. i had to throw away these rather expensive pants.
