Ann's said there price would be $50 --could be less just need to take them to shop.With this news I called FT ON phone and disputed the price and then FT the conceded that she would match the $50.Why the two prices...the price when I called her out,and the price when I don"t?? Oksana did an absolutely impeccable job tailoring a formal gown to fit me like a glove. I was warned that a new dress would be cheaper, but I didn't want to risk it not arriving in time or the sizing still being not quite right. It was well worth the cost to have the dress fit perfectly. Oksana instantly saw the problems and got to work when I arrived at her shop. It took 45 minutes for her to pin everything in place, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and focus. In the end she had to hem it and take it in significantly at the waist and under the arms, which involved multiple layers of different fabrics, removal and reapplication lace appliques and an attached belt, and reshaping the entire top. She priced out each individual alteration so I knew exactly how much it would cost for each step. The turnaround time was very fast for how much work she had to do and how busy her shop is, and when I came back to try it on it was perfect. I received many compliments and plan on wearing it to future formal events.

Had used in the past for some business clothes and all was fine --mainly pre covid era-- and maybe…read moreonce or twice in a pinch since. So With most recent visit I had a pair of pants sewn up and all looked fine upon pick up --wore once and tear was back again and in same spot . And all within the course of 5 days from date of pick up I Took back in and said they would fix @ N/C . Due to recent ice storm they were a few days late on finishing .I stopped in to get on my way to a Dr appt nearby and told me to come back later not done or had moved me to the bottom of the urgency pile . I did and not so much as I am sorry- thanks - can we offer an discount on next project etc with my return later that afternoon to get these . Seemingly no care or thought about there issue . All too many times these days Companies have seemed to have lost their drive to go the extra mile / over and above's / offer of apologize etc. Still very disappointing from a spot that garners such high praise online and with news articles etc. that they have posted in lobby. I will look to other spots in moving ahead as life is all about choices .As I will not be choosing them again .

Returned after 2 years....what in the world happened to this business? I normally work with Natale…read more Today it was her son. Barely spoke to me. I brought in a pair pants and a pair of patchwork jeans jorts. Nothing overly complicated for an experienced alteration. I'd had them alter 8-9 pieces in the past. But this time I barely get in the door and he (owner) lets me know he is just too busy to alter a pair of slacks in the waist and these jeans jorts. His body language and tone surprised me. I wasn't in a hurry to get them altered so I asked him what was the estimated time. That would have been a great question to ask me...patience I have... He says mid October and I say that's fine. What bothered me is he asked me to enter the dressing room and try on the item I needed altered. He gets a woman to come back. She's great! I overheard him telling her that it was too difficult but the lady is pinning me and quite good. He enters the alteration area with comments that clearly let both of us know he doesn't want her to do the job...maybe he is overwhelmed with a heavy workload. He says to me it's not worth the cost to alter the jorts. I state again I am willing to pay for the work done. Do you know he sat 100.00 dollar? I thought before I try on the slacks I'm going to leave and never enter this business again. He may not be aware of his unprofessional attitude and behavior but I hope he understands it's not the money... it's the professionalism and courteous manner he's sadly lacking. Quality is great. Service requested deserves a zero. But out of respect for Natale I'll give 1 star.
