Used the Wash and Fold service…read more That was last year. (It's Feb 28th, 2026) They still can't find my laundry bag. They still haven't communicated in OVER A MONTH. Emails get ignored. Calls on the weekend get various iterations of "that's wash and fold" and "They aren't here right now." and "Someone will contact you." (Hint: They never contact you.) Puritan used to be the #1 cleaner I raved about. Now I can't believe they were ever over a 2 star. How do you LOSE someone's laundry entirely (This might happen, large production base and all) and then as a business go radio silent for MONTHS at a time. (this is truly unacceptable.) Is there a worse value for money than a shop stealing your clothes and ghosting? I haven't found it yet.

She quoted $495 after she looked the dress over and had my daughter put it on for the initial fitting. She said then that it was that expensive because the dress was delicate and intricate. I paid a $250 deposit because it was close to 1/2 the balance. Then at the 1st fitting (60 days later), she again says she will need to charge more because it was a fancy dress and it would now be $650. Mind you, all of this is chicken scratch on note cards and sticky notes. We come in for the final fitting and she starts writing down stuff on a new sticky note, giving excuses for the prices she was writing down, again saying it was a fancy dress and a lot of work and then says the price would be $720! I told her absolutely not and that the most I would pay was the 2nd quote because she knew how fancy the dress was all along and she had to honor her quotes! She proceeded to follow us out to the car and continued to say the same things over and over again as to she was saving us money, what other places do, etc. and also called my daughter unpleasant (because she had been stressed out by Sandy's attitude, changes, and behavior). We finally had to get her to accept that we were good with what we paid and got her off our car and back out to leave.
