Pick up when they sanded it and sealed it. Now it looks like two pieces of light colored wood with some bubbly resin in the middle. The examples on the site were beautifully stained, sealed, and not at all what this is.

We were able to bring our own food and non alcoholic drinks (wine is included) which is great. We set up a couple snacks and went to town on our paintings! The pace was great, a really chill atmosphere, and I think everyone had a great time. Absolutely no complaints. We're keeping an eye on the calendar for upcoming classes to plan our return!

I recommend a full side of the store for fabric shoppers and not just quilters. Selection for fabric is full of characters but little to not apparel fabric. It's a huge headache walking inside of Michael's. I cannot recommend, sorry. And I'm not inspired. Hectic shopping experience during a sunny Friday but gosh what else should I have expected. Online order pickup is the only way I see myself coming back. But what about the experience of in person shopping? Saving it for the speciality fabric stores I suppose.

Located in Midlothian, it is definitely worth the drive from wherever you are. Upon entering, you are drawn into the shop like a kid in a Hogsmeade candy store. Everywhere you look there are amazing examples of potential projects, and a wide variety of fabrics to choose from. The shop is so well organized that it makes exploration easy, if not a little expensive (Yes, before you ask, I needed that fabric - For what, you ask? Not sure yet, but I needed it!!). The staff here is amazing. Open and friendly, I never got the feeling that I was being a bother, or that I needed to rush to get all of my questions answered. Long arm quilting services, a large variety of classes, and a well-lit classroom are some of the many services offered. The folks who work here seem to love quilting just as much as they love sharing that knowledge of making quilts with those that visit. I'm excited to sign up for a class... I have a Brother sewing machine and asked if they could repair it...little did I know it was operator error (d'oh!) but they still did find some odd things that were not performing at 100%. Good price on repair and tune up! And...my goodness the gorgeous bolts of fabric!!! A wonderful array of very good quality quilting fabric that you could also use for sewing other things besides quilting, but also a really good assortment of notions/items to help with your quilting, quilting magazines, etc. It turns out they specialize in Brother sewing machines so I will always come here now. The staff are also so very nice! And I could bring my Chihuahua inside with me it looks like!! If I could teach her how to sew now that would be really good...anyway, I really recommend this place. So many good things here for those who sew!! Oh and the parking is really good...it's a private lot shared between small businesses! #shoplocal !!

From greet to seat and everything in between, we had an amazing time. It was our anniversary (and they gave us a slice of basal cake, so delicious). we wanted to try the Thursday happy hour special. For $12 we got a beer and a huge delicious (perfectly seasoned) chicken sandwich with fries!What a deal!! We tried the tempura green beans too. Awesome. We can't wait to come back.
