So With most recent visit I had a pair of pants sewn up and all looked fine upon pick up --wore once and tear was back again and in same spot . And all within the course of 5 days from date of pick up I Took back in and said they would fix @ N/C . Due to recent ice storm they were a few days late on finishing .I stopped in to get on my way to a Dr appt nearby and told me to come back later not done or had moved me to the bottom of the urgency pile . I did and not so much as I am sorry- thanks - can we offer an discount on next project etc with my return later that afternoon to get these . Seemingly no care or thought about there issue . All too many times these days Companies have seemed to have lost their drive to go the extra mile / over and above's / offer of apologize etc. Still very disappointing from a spot that garners such high praise online and with news articles etc. that they have posted in lobby. I will look to other spots in moving ahead as life is all about choices .As I will not be choosing them again .

I picked them up and they were discolored but I thought I could use a suede brush to smooth them out. Then when I got home I tried them on and they did not fit they shrunk to a point where they are uncomfortable. They fit me fine before so I took them back today to ask them what happened and she said that it wasn't my fault but it also was not their fault I asked her if magic caused them to shrink and she said yes. I asked for the owner's phone number and she refused to provide it to me. I told her that I would be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau and she didn't seem to care. I was also not offered a refund. They also refused to file an insurance claim. Don't clean your Uggs and don't go to this place.

I called beforehand to see if this business had strap options for my wedding dress. I was assured…read morethere would be straps for me to try on and choose from. When I got to my appointment- that was not the case. They only had fabrics for me to choose from, and they would then create a strap from that. This was pretty disappointing because I wanted to be able to try on different styles of straps to get an idea of what I wanted. That was strike 1 for me. Strike 2 was how rough they were with my dress. They used these huge safety pins (instead of just the thin standard straight pin) which created a small hole in the tool part of my dress. Of course they tried to say "it was already there" but I have not touched my dress since I bought it. I was extremely annoyed. They were really rough with my dress when pinning it. Their prices are also almost around double the prices of other alteration stores. I decided to go somewhere else. I didn't give it zero stars because at least the store itself on the inside was nice and well organized.

I was warned that a new dress would be cheaper, but I didn't want to risk it not arriving in time or the sizing still being not quite right. It was well worth the cost to have the dress fit perfectly. Oksana instantly saw the problems and got to work when I arrived at her shop. It took 45 minutes for her to pin everything in place, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and focus. In the end she had to hem it and take it in significantly at the waist and under the arms, which involved multiple layers of different fabrics, removal and reapplication lace appliques and an attached belt, and reshaping the entire top. She priced out each individual alteration so I knew exactly how much it would cost for each step. The turnaround time was very fast for how much work she had to do and how busy her shop is, and when I came back to try it on it was perfect. I received many compliments and plan on wearing it to future formal events.
