I recommend Puritan Cleaners and this particular location is where I have been a customer for nearly 20 years. Today Tiffany who is amazing cared for me in a professional manner that exceeds customer service. If you read about my shirt dilemma then please realize I now have the shirt and it looks great. I started using Puritan cleaners when I was mostly taking in shirts for work. Back then I was doing the laundry for the family and one member of my family needed his shirts cleaned professionally. My coat looks like they did NOTHING! Lint, green strings here and there ( have no idea where they are coming from), cat hair. $14 later. Horrible. I could have done a better job. I've been here a couple of times for my husband's dry cleaning. Every time the service is very friendly and the clothes come out great. I like how they have an email system to let you know when your dry cleaning is ready. They also have home delivery but I have yet to try it. I've seen other reviews say it is a bit pricey but I am satisfied that the dry cleaning comes out right. I must admit that I didn't get a zipper fixed here as or would cost $27 and would rather take it to a tailor that charges less. read more

I came to puritan cleaners today to have 3 sets of scrubs pressed. I asked how much it would cost. The clerk was very polite and pleasant to deal with. She said she was trying to get a quote, and then said something about $2 per peice. My response was "OH! $2, that's not bad at all, let's go ahead and do it." Later that day I go to pick them up when they are ready, expecting it to cost around $12. However, when it is rung up my total is, much to my shock, $35! When I tell the clerk that I was under the impression it was only $2 each piece, she informs me that it is $2 OFF the cleaning price since I'm only having them pressed. At this point I'm rather upset because I would NEVER have had this done had I known it would be that much. I informed the clerk, politely, that it would be a good idea to make sure they let the customer know that it is $2 off the cleaning price, or maybe just tell them the price, rather then the discount. Especially a first time costumer. I will dedfinatly be taking my dry cleaning needs elsewhere as this experience has left a horrible taste in my mouth and a hole in my wallet. read more

It was identified on Yelp as being a service that could do alterations in 24 hours. I reached out to see if they could help. Representative set up an appointment to discuss it with me but then she never called me even though it said the business would call me at my cell phone number. I reached out again. Representative apologized and said she misunderstood but ultimately still couldn't help me in the timeframe needed. Disappointed but they may be short staffed due to COVID. read more

I have been in the area for a year + and have used a variety of local dry cleaners, usually looking for low price, convenience and clothes that come out looking good. I moved and this Puritan is at the front of my neighborhood. I tried taking my shirts one time, noting that the price was higher than others I had used. The service is great, the shirts come out looking great, including the replacement of worn out buttons! After a few visits, I was given a free bag to use for drop-off service, another nice convenience. So, on balance, the price is a little higher, but all else is a cut above. Convenient. Button replacement. Hangers that are not flimsy. Quick turnaround. E-mail notification when shirts are ready. Drop-off bag. Friendly service. I recommend Puritan Cleaners. I feel a little bad because my prior dry cleaners was fine and did nothing to lose my business, except for not being as convenient. read more

I use the home pickup and delivery offered by Angie Taylor, the route manager for my apartment. This has been such a convenient service, and Angie has provided an exceptional customer experience for me. While the price is a little higher than other dry cleaners I've been to, not having to make a trip to the store to drop off and pick up my clothes has made it worthwhile, especially living in the downtown area. Came in to this location to pick up my wedding gown that was cleaned. The associate there could not find it on the rack and said that there was a mishap with some of the labeling and letters as to where the items were being stored. He told me that I would be receiving a call later today about where it would be. It's a little unsettling to think I dropped off an extremely expensive wedding gown to be cleaned and it's nowhere to be found in the store, where they said it was ready to be picked up at. read more

Well, I went to them for about 4 years. One day decided to calculate how much I spent there in a year on dry Cleaning and I almost fainted. Wow. Wow. WOW. I am a total klutz and I'm not afraid to admit it. I am always getting something on my clothes when I eat. I know, I know. I'm a 2 year old. Last week I bought a dress. Not just any dress. This dress is a gorgeous floor length hot pink piece of summery goodness. It quickly became my favorite summer dress, which is saying A LOT. When I decided to wear this dress out to dinner, I had no idea that it was 100% silk. All I knew was that I was going on a hot date so I needed to rock my newest frock. Well, this is where the story goes south. While at dinner, I got not 1, not 2, but 3 large spots on the dress. Panicked, I didn't know what to do except go in the Internet to look up stain removal... Because the Internet is always right *eye roll* I tried to remove it on my own with dish soap and had no luck whatsoever. So, it was time for some professional intervention. I had heard of Puritan's stellar reputation, so that was the first place I went. Ashley was amazing. She was completely honest and didn't make any promises, but told me that if I didn't see results, she wouldn't charge me. They also give you the option to send a garment back through the cleaners a second time free of charge if the stains don't come out the first time. That's exactly what happened to me. I went to pick my dress up the next day and the stains were much better, but still noticeable. I took the chance and sent it back through to see if they could make it any better. And better they did! The food and grease stains are 100% undetectable! I seriously can't believe it. I'm so glad to know that Puritan is right down the street and there's no other cleaners I will go to. It makes me so angry that I didn't get a chance to take before and after pics, but please believe me when I say that my dress is good as new! Can't thank you enough, Puritan! read more

Cleaned my white shirt with lots of stains due to bachelor party. It is ready in 24hours and looks like new. Highly recommended! Though, the price might by a little bit expensive. It still worth it. Especially they offer free home delivery as well. read more

It cost me almost $50 to get three dresses cleaned. They're normal work dresses- not prom or cocktail dresses. I put one on and instantly realized it felt stiff and had a very abrasive texture. The dress that fit the week before was now so tight on my arms I can't fully move my shoulders. Within 5 minutes I broke out into a horrific rash. The texture of my dresses changed entirely. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind, well- mannered and professional but I was totally blindsided by the cost and horrific lack of quality in their work. I almost totalled two of my favorite under armour shirts with stains from the garage and misc use. I took one of them to another dry cleaner in Chesterfield and was told the stains would not come out. The transaction was robotic with no concern or interest from that person. I took same shirt and another shirt to Puritan on Broad St and Brittany, the manager was awesome. She not only knew what she was doing, she was friendly, smiled and made sure I was taken care of.The two shirts are like new. Wow! Jynise at the innsbrook location is polite, professional, looks for solutions and most importantly knows how to value customers. If i ever have any issues it is taken care of, with no questions asked. I highly recommend this location, Puritan as a company and most of all people like Jynise are rare in the retail business.
