Mid afternoon, starving but didn't know what to have... walked right into Napa Noodles in downtown and were blown away by have nice everyone was, the owner actually came up to us at the bar and chatted us up about her journey to owning this place. We loved meeting her and her humbleness The food is very very authentic, Japanese chef great flavors We will be back for sure.
Last day Napa noodles is open until the tear down. Had to take my kids back. Literally their favorite Napa restaurant the past year. From the Tokyo ramen, lumpia, and Sunday with ube ice cream and macadamia cookie. Cheers! They will add some of the favorite dishes at their other location Eikos down the street. It's been real Napa noodles!
The food was beyond excellent. Not pictured was the additional kids ramen ordered. All the plates were shared at the table and I personally felt that was better in order to try more dishes! The service was excellent and they did an amazing job being attentive and recommending dishes. We were going to get Tom yum soup but they said it was extremely spicy. I feel next time I would try it because maybe it's not a super incredibly unbearable spicy but I guess if you have party members who don't eat any spice that will be a problem. The ambiance of the place is spectacular. It's on the corner near a small hangout/park area and it's beautiful inside. I enjoyed the rose but it wasn't my favorite by far so I would maybe stick to regular drinks here but that's totally by preference only. I would MOST definitely come back again.
Came on a Saturday afternoon after wine tasting. Located in a great location in downtown Napa, this noodle restaurant is quaint and hip. My friend recommended the Duck Duck Soup and it did not disappoint! The duck was cooked exquisitely and the noodles are thick and bouncy. The broth was also very good and light. There's a full bar and bar seating available. The food came out pretty quickly and the servers are attentive. Next time I'm going to try the Tokyo Ramen!
First visit and always wanted to try this spot for their Ramen. Walked in without a reservation on a Friday early evening no wait time. They have a spacious dining area with tables and a bar. They menu, so much to choose so we started with their Napa Noodle house salad which was a huge portion enough for 2 to share nice tasty salad. Entree opt for the Kalbi short rib plate which I thought was kinda pricey for couple of pieces of kalbi which was very good though a huge scoop of rice, kimchi and salad. Ramen YES!!!! Tokyo Ramen a chicken broth with braised pork belly, soft boiled egg and bamboo shoots soooo good! Duck Duck Soup ....thick cut noodles , duck broth , soft boiled egg, bok choy , roasted duck, maitake mushrooms don't pass on this one it's good!!! Ramen filled our cravings so tasty and worth it. They also serve Poke , other soups , salads and plates, starters and kids meals . Beverages like smoothies and boba drinks , tea , juice and other adult drinks at the bar. will certainly visit again and try other items on the Ramen Menu

We went there on a Monday night and the place was packed so we dined at the counter. Just as we got our food we ended up moving to the end of the counter since this girl sat down next to us and was coughing up a storm. The service was fine. The interior was nice but it was all just ok.
Ordered Napa Noodles' Spicy Poke Bowl through DoorDash and it was delicious! Super flavorful with a little bit of heat and the fish was fresh which is always important. The rice was separated from the rest of the bowl and I do wish that it was under the Poke. I'm not sure why they do this but I think it would be less of a mess if it was fully prepared versus having to prepare myself and try to make room for the rice. That being said, it was neatly packaged, the driver handled with care, no spills!
Yes, the price is high, but the food is great. I can't recommend the Duck Duck Soup enough! The broth is outstanding, and it was packed full of delicious duck and mushrooms. We also loved the sticky ribs, and my husband enjoyed the Pho. The service was a bit slow but friendly. My husband and his friends appreciated the TVs for football watching. We will return if we're in the area again.
After meaning to come here for a while, we finally stopped in for dinner recently. For starters we had the steamed bao ($12.95 for two pieces). It was delicious. The pork was nice and crispy and the sauce added a nice sweetness. We also ordered the lumpia ($11.95 for four pieces). The lumpia was good. Very meaty. For my main I ordered the California poke with ahi tuna and imitation crab meat. I also ordered, for an extra charge, a crispy noodle topping, which was well worth it. The poke bowl came with a LOT of ahi. And I mean a LOT. So if you love ahi, this is your spot. My husband got the pho, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. Pro tip: Order the jasmine milk tea. Sooooo good.
I visted Napa Noodles when I was around the area for a quick lunch and it was pretty good. The service was amazing and was one of the reasons I stopped by since they greeted me when I was outside. The food was on the pricier side for lunch but the portion made up for it. It was more american but given the location, that was expected.

Orders Lumpia to start- a little more meaty than I'm used to. It resembled more of an eggroll style to me as they were rather thick- still very good. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and loved this dish! I added egg because I can't seem to have a bowl of ramen without egg. The broth was both spicy and savory, the perfect pair for me. Portions were fair, had leftovers to take home. Would love to come back and try one of the other noodle bowls or even a poke bowl! Perfect place to come when it's chilly or need take out when you're not feeling well.
Very solid noodle spot in Napa. Good sized portions for the price (~$16-22 for most entrees). We wanted to split the Dan Dan noodles because it has a soup base, and the waiter kindly offered to split it into bowls (picture is only half of the normal portion!). Creamy Shrimp Poke - really great combo of shrimp, avocado rice, creamy dressing. Not spicy at all. We asked editor for a side of Siracha to mix in which really elevated the dish Dan Dan Noodles - spicy broth with noodles and greens. Best to mix it all together before eating to submerge the greens. Really delicious Overall this is a great spot to stop in downtown Napa if you're craving some Poke / Noodle bowls and want hearty servings for a reasonable price!
Hungry while walking around during the Napa Lighted Art Festival. Our group elected to try out this place. Waited 30 minutes for a table of 11 on a Saturday night. Place had a dimly lit dining area. Service was good. Food was OK. Drinks could've been better.

I love their Tokyo Ramen! I'm very picky when it comes to ramen and personally prefer simpler flavors. The Tokyo Ramen just has noodles, egg, scallions, pork belly, and bamboo shoots. That's all I need and it all tastes so delicious to me. The portion is filling to me, someone who doesn't have a big appetite. Temperature heat-wise for the ramen was cooler than I would have liked on my second visit though. Also on my second visit, our waters were never brought out to us and we had to ask for it when our food came out. To drink, I've had their mango smoothie . They have so many other flavors that I'd like to try, and desserts I would like to try as well. I've only sat outside on my visits. The weather at the moment is cold, but the heat lamps work well and make it comfortable to sit outside. Happy to have found a place to satisfy my ramen craving. read more

First time here, and it was average. My husband got the Tokyo ramen, and I ordered a poke bowl. I have never tried a poke bowl before, and since we were nearby, we decided to give it a shot. The location is nice ( downtown Napa ), but the food was just ok. Service was also fine. The Tokyo ramen was greasy and lacked flavor, it was nothing extraordinary or special. My poke bowl was also just ok. It felt like something was missing in the flavor. I wasn't impressed, and honestly, I don't think I even finished my bowl. It will probably be a while before I give poke bowls another try because of this experience. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Napa Noodles. read more

Ambience is very nice, cozy and have enough tables and chairs for customers. Their servers are friendly and very sensitive to customers' needs. Service was also quick, we did not wait that long for us to be seated and we got our food in less than 15mins. Food was so good! I ordered Duck duck soup and it did not disappoint. For a first timer, I can say that this is a good choice to dine. read more

By far the best Ramen I have ever had! The aroma is actually what brought us to this establishment. My family and I sat outdoors to enjoy the weather which was juuusssstt right. The only downside to my experience was the service received. Our waitress was not attentive at all. The cups of water were too small for guests not to receive timely refills. Needless to say, we only had one glass of water and no refill. Maybe she wanted us to purchase wine... read more
If you're an avid Asian food lover, this place will just disappoint you. The Singaporean noodle was just salty and you get the slightest curry taste. The noodles I ordered, the roasted duck noodles soup I ordered was not I was expecting. The meat tasted like turkey meats that was already sitting in the kitchen for hours and hours. No fatty duck like a real roasted duck noodles you'd get from a legit Chinese restaurant. The papaya salad? Oh my! Idk how they flavored this because it's nothing compared to the papaya salad I'm used to. I don't even think they used fish sauce on this. I think this place is catered for those who thinks they are having Asian cuisine but modified to accommodate health preferences read more

Napa Noodles has something for everyone, but those dishes are not uniformly successful. My family and I had lunch here and started with the duck bao, and in my opinion, that was the best bite of the meal. The buns were generously stuffed with duck, pickles, and topped with a yuzu kosho verde sauce. I definitely recommend! We also got vegetable gyoza, which were fine, but honestly comparable to what I'd buy at the store and cook at home. For our entrees, we got the Iwanuma Veggie Ramen (kombu shiitake broth, egg noodles, veggies, pickled bamboo shoots, scallions, and a soft boiled egg), the Dan Dan Noodles (chicken broth, egg noodles, ground pork with mushrooms, spinach, bean sprouts, scallions, and sichuan chili oil), and the Citrus Albacore Poke (albacore tuna, avocado, green onion, mango, Japanese 7 spice, cilantro, jalapeno, ponzu sauce, and nori furikake). All these were pretty good, but not standouts. The Dan Dan Noodles, which I usually love for the spice, were quite mild. The Poke had good flavor, but more mango than fish. Nothing was bad, by any means, but it was all just a shade off from what we were hoping. read more

The food was really delicious for a crisp fall night! My hubs had the duck duck soup and the duck was delicious. I has the Dan Dan soup I believe and it was spicy but amazing! A little pricey but expected in a downtown tourist area. Also, the Thai tea was really good and the servers were awesome. read more

This is my first time having dinner at this place. It wasn't that busy and the place looks calm. So we ordered the Tokyo ramen, kids veggie ramen and Japanese curry. All were good. The walk to the parking area took us three minutes. Overall, the experience was great and satisfying. read more
Meh is right (as another review stated), and I'm not a noodle snob. I ordered the vegetarian Japanese ramen noodles (#1). It lacked flavor. Despite ordering "spicy," I had to request chili sauce, chili oil and wanted to see if they had fresh cilantro or fresh lime in the back, but at that point I'm doin' the cookin'! Also, some of my noodles were stuck together. No bueno! A star goes to the Thai iced tea. That was de-lish. Prices on the online menu need to be updated. They have gone up. That's a Yelper pet peeve of mine. I was snookered by the long wait, thinking this was a great find. Also, the warm broth was great for a chilly rainy day. Speaking of which, turn the heat on in there! Every patron had on their coats, which makes slurping noodles even more challenging. We were freezing our bobas off up in there! read more
I almost didn't go here because of the stars/ratings and am so glad I did! I was torn between the Tokyo Ramen and the Japanese Curry so I got both! They both were SO good! I was alone so I liked that I was at the bar and could interact with other patrons or the staff. They also have indoor and outdoor seating, which is fun! Portions were quite large, prices quite reasonable. I recommend it, and will certainly return! read more
Ordered the Tokyo Ramen! That pork belly was some of the best I've had in a ramen bowl before! It was the perfect post work comfort food. The server was very attentive and was prompt with every request! Thank you Napa Noodle for satisfying the ramen craving I've had since May 2020. Napa Noodles CA Mon 9/5/22 Labor Day Heat Dome over SF Bay 111-116F © Listen, I give everyone what they need. I just love people. First things first. Phenomenal crew here. Ali. Ari. This place stands on your shoulders. Appreciate your camaraderie always. And you made the spirit of Labor Day shine, so that's awesome. The owner gotta give you the praise for saving the day, that's fantastic and cool my friends. Now to the details. For bartenders & servers, this is a workday. On Labor Day. In 111 heat. The heat dome is sitting over the West. And over California. That's the premise. Unprecedented heat! NorCal under the Heat Dome got us all in a lockdown scorcher! Temps got to 111F in the San Francisco Bay, 116F up North, 118F Sacramento valley! That day, Monday, 'only' 97 in LA the LaLa land! Baking! Hope power stays On! Drove over the Golden Gate Bridge to escape the Silicon Valley heat & ironically got into a hotter territory. Corte Madera, Petaluma, Sonoma, all towns looked deserted, and I ended up in Napa, at Napa Noodles downtown spot. Walked in & was promptly welcomed & offered any available seat. Chosen the bar. Sparkly for the holiday! Brut Prestige is Mumm Napa's signature sparkling wine. Elegant & relaxed wine that earns sparkling accolades. A complex assemblage of primarily Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. Excellent food wine. Refreshing acidity. Medium-bodied. It opens with layered white blossom aromas, followed by creamy vanilla, citrus, stone fruit and melon. Rich elegant mousse finish. Crisp! Twice the retail nowadays is fair. Side note, some places triple the retail price and it goes against my grain. So I'm Okay with a $36 bottle of Napa champagne that's $18 at the grocery store.. you get served, right? Ramens, soups, noodles, rice plates with proteins, and more, a little bit of everything is on the menu. Chatted with Ali to find out what's spicy, of course. Korean Kimchi Jjigae Soup hit the spot. And that's where we also hit an hour and a half hiccup. First half hour, maybe 40 mins, run up pretty fast, with a glass of bubbly after the glass. Hanging out with Ali and Ari was fun, too! And then I realized, hungry as hell, no food is coming, not even a cucumber salad, while everyone else who's orders were keyed in 40 mins past mine, are eating.. and eating.. and settling their checks.. singular patrons at the bar, as well as tables with larger sized parties. Asked Ali to check with the kitchen & it did seem as though my order was pushed out somehow, or forgotten all together. It took another half hour, at least.. my photo had a time stamp on it :-) I just can't give less than 5-star reviews. Not in my nature (unless a major screw up occurred). This was a toss up between 1 & 5 stars LOL. In the end, I just couldn't blackball Napa Noodles. The food was good! I get it, the daytime heat & emptiness of the place was quickly overtaken by people coming in to eat, after the sun has set. And I have to give bartender staff credit for vigorously defending the kitchen. No ill intent! Of course not! Just that my food wasn't here & I had a long drive home to take. Kitchen just wouldn't do anything to make the wrong right! Well, Ali did - she apologized profusely and took off $12 from my Mumm. That's nice! Ali saved the day. And I can't say that pleasant evening hasn't been had. In fact, it was comfortable and relaxing to spend the night at Napa Noodles. When the food came out, it was hot & delicious. So, all in all, kindness & humanity won and we parted happily, at the closing time, with a free nightcap! Who would say no to that? Praises for friendliness, Ali (Alissa) and Ari, you rock! Group of 4 we had the ramen noodles, Dan Dan, duck duck noodles. All of them were delicious and plentiful. Bowls were decent portion. Has the pork and shrimp gyoza and the Korean chicken. The gyoza were juicy and fresh. The Korean chicken was Ok. I have had them fried this was drenched in sauce. Not authentic Korean chicken wings but they were ok. Service was quick and fast. If you love fried rice with pineapple, this is where to go. BUT the fried rice is super salty and needs the side of kimchii pickles. Other than that, it was one of the best fried rice I've ever had. The sticky ribs is a must! Super fall off the bone and perfectly seasoned. read more
Took a drive to take some photos in Napa during the Napa Lighted Art Festival and it was within walking distance as soon as I was finished. The estaishment was convient. I came on a Thursday at roughly 630PM and there were a few tables available inside and was seated right away. It was nice to see they had an outdoor area to eat as well. They have a menu that covers various popular dishes from different Asian ethnicities. Was craving a soup based meal because it was relatively chilly and went for the Tokyo Ramen. It was pretty good albeit more salty than I anticipated. The waiters were very quick and responsive. I'd like to return here in the future to try their other dishes. read more

Kimchee jjigae and Duck duck noodles were surprisingly good. The pork meat-- it looked like bacon-- was nicely grilled, not too salty in the Kimchee jjigae and with the small rice cake made the soup taste better. A bowl of rice doesn't come with the soup, you have to order. read more
Imperfect but worth a visit! Now, my experience is only having been here once for dinner and it has left me wanting more! I know there are many reviews that mention poor service and bad food but I must say, what my table ordered was all excellent and my waitress so sweet! My order: - Jasmine Milk Tea - Sweet(ish), floral, and creamy. The waitress was super helpful in helping me pick a milk tea right for me (always a Thai tea gal) and I loved this option! - Black Milk Tea - Less sweet than the jasmine, more of that pure black tea flavor but also creamy and yummy. - Dan Dan Noodles - Well-seasoned and a large portion! Would order again. - California Poke Bowl - Admittedly I added some sriracha aioli and garlic chili sauce to give it some zip but the tuna was excellent and large chunks! Lets give our local spots a break during these hard times and if you've had a previously poor service experience, give it another try! A little pricey but to be expected in Napa unfortunately. Are the smoothies any good? About bout the Michu ice cream?
I LOVE the smoothies at Napa Noodles. They use avocados and other fresh ingredients in their smoothies. I have not ordered the "Michu Ice Cream". I imagine it is amazing.
