Ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup which was delicious and fresh tasting, and the chicken cashew nut. Both were very tasty and perfectly cooked. Service was quick.

Amazing new place that open in Brighton. Nice menu, good ambience, very clean. Service was prompt, and the servers are really friendly and kind. They explained the items on the menu and showed pictures. Food was prompt, appetizers were delicious especially the wings and the soups. The food came timely and was very fresh and tasty. Price is that reasonable. Street parking. Amazing halal option for Boston!!

Nice service, friendly people. I really wanted to like this place. Food is not fresh and it is bland.

It is such a pity that I did not finish my review prior to this restaurant closing down...but here…read moregoes... Food (2/2): I found out about this place originally from a friend. Back then, they were a normal-style restaurant (similar system to Panda Express). After that first time, I quickly became a repeat customer because of their catfish, pork soup, and the crispy pork. Just those three were sufficient and then several months later, they became a buffet-style restaurant. I was elated. They experimented with other dishes but the crispy pork remained my favorite. No matter what dish they make, all of them were infused with strong flavors and mouth-watering aroma. It is truly a tragedy that this restaurant closed. Service/wait-time/cleanliness (1.5/2): The people here were incredibly courteous and kind whenever they served us. Wait-time can be rather long ever since they converted to a buffet-style but somehow they still manage to keep the restaurant clean and well-kept. Price (1/1): Even back when they were NOT a buffet, their price were very reasonable for the amount of food they give. That positive is multiplied so many times once they transitioned to buffet-style.

OMG this is now my go-to buffet spot. $18 lunch buffet every day. The crispy pork belly is the…read moreBEST. All of their fried food is good. Their soups are all really solid, too. And their meat and seafood is all cooked well. They have a good amount of variety (although maybe one more carb dish would be even better). Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is clean and well-kept. There's even free parking across the street.

This place just opened up and is such a rare find. I saw it while running one day. At first, I was…read moresurprised that it was a restaurant cuz it looked more like an old, abandoned service station. I'm glad I didn't judge it by it's outwardly appearance because it was actually freaking tasty!!! The inside is ... also interesting looking. The service was fast but lacking enthusiasm and could have been a little more friendly and welcoming. The first time I tried it was in person ... inside the restaurant. I've tried it 2 more times since ... both UberEats. The first time really blew me away!!! I was ready to give this place 5 stars!!! The flavors were so perfect and unique. The downside was that the portions were extremely small ... like so small, especially for the price. However, it was so good that I ordered it via UberEats 2x after. The first time I ordered it via UberEats, it was ok, but the second time, it was just horrible ... like way too greasy with no flavor. Just grease and oil. For this reason, I give the rating I did. I really need to try it again because I have such hope for this place, but dang ... the consistency is just not there. Please work on portion size and consistency!!! I know this place has what it takes to be consistently amazing!!!

Arriving at 6, our party of 4 received seating immediately; the establishment only had a few other tables occupied (they did have a decent number of delivery orders). We ordered everything to share, I sampled the following: - Sai Oua | $10 - Crying Tiger | $16 - Kra-Pow w/ground Pork | $14 - Drunken Noodle w/Beef | $16 The Sai Oua, a Northern Thai style of sausage, had both strong lemongrass and earthy herbal flavors. This proved quite addictive; the plate emptied quickly. The Crying Tiger, a grilled steak, proved equally popular given the savory marinade's interplay with tangy dipping sauces. The Kra-Pow w/ground pork, an orthodox menu item representing ground pork sautéed with chili, garlic, basil leaves with hot basil sauce over rice, met expectations. The Drunken noodle with beef, another orthodox menu item, this time with sautéed flat rice noodles with egg, basil, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and onions in spicy basil sauce, also tasted decent. Notably, the spicy sauce actually had some heat and didn't just taste like soy sauce. Overall, I enjoyed everything. The starting 2 appetizers stood out compared to the mains mostly because of the novelty. The portion sized did seem a bit small, but given the quality, I can understand the establishment trying to maintain a certain price point.

The pad thai is also tasty- a lot more moist than normal pad thai. I liked the fried chive cakes; they taste similar to Korean chive pancakes. Salt and pepper pork has a slight kick to it. Found street parking easily on surrounding streets. The restaurant is small, with low tables, high tables, and bar seating. The other reviewers are accurate in saying that the table next to you is only a few inches away. For 4 of us, we ordered 2 Thai iced teas, khao tang na tung (rice crackers), jor puu, kai tod had yai (fried chicken), beef massaman, classic pad thai, and crab fried rice. I was not a huge fan of the rice crackers as they tasted a bit bland. Standouts were the crab fried rice and the beef massaman. Jor puu was good, the fried chicken was good, although it seemed less fried and more grilled. Pad thai was average to me as were the Thai iced teas. Overall, was a good meal and we left satisfied and full. But I don't think it was exceptional enough to warrant a month-long waitlist for a normal dinner time, although I'm sure much of this is due to making Bib Gourmand recently. Glad I got to try it once but there are other Thai places I'd be more willing to go back to.
