Very disappointing overall. The Tom Kha was the worst I've had, it tasted quite strange. Portions were small, and both dishes we ordered were just okay. Service was also minimal.

Rod D by Sitti is still one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Boston area! Even when I am not in the neighborhood, I will still go out of my way to eat here for lunch/dinner. Every dish we have tried has been so flavorful and insanely delicious! The service is so quick here & this has not changed at all. Once we have ordered, after taking a sip of water, our food is out and ready. It's incredible! My favorite dishes, so far, that I've tried: -basil fried rice (level 3 spicy is perfect!) -boat noodle soup (so good) -larb -roti with condensed milk Rod D by Sitti is always consistent and is seriously, one of the best Thai spots that Massachusetts has! Highly recommend! And honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

Came here on a Saturday night. They don't take reservations but you just have to list your names down. It was only a 15 min wait for us. The place was small but nice and cozy. I got the chicken satay for appetizer. It was pretty good but I wished it had a little bit more seasoning. The sauce had flavors of coconut and peanut butter. The pad see ew was a classic. The noddles were flavorful and salty and sweet. The Thai iced was my favorite. It was not too sweet or bitter. Overall, I had a great time and would come again

Consistent portions and quality, good prices, service was good too. I didn't really like the mango sticky rice because it had very little sauce.

A delightful Thai option. The dining area is small but they get you seated quickly. There to go orders happening so frequently l found myself watching the constant in and out for pick up. I enjoyed the spring rolls and crab rangoon. I recommend the Rod D fried rice.

Food is always good here. Sad that they consolidated 3 locations down to 1. Glad they now take credit cards. Parking is still painful on beacon street but if you're patient, there are lots of opportunities if you wait. Food is always great, my favorite Thai place in Boston!

Fantastic spot for Thai food and the service is great. Crispy pork belly and crispy chicken dishes are all excellent. So yeah, get crispy things. Take any recommendations from the staff

This is one of my favorite Thai food places! These dishes have always been a hit time and time again. They do all the popular dishes well and also have a couple unique items, like the mango curry, which are difficult to find elsewhere. They really know how to balance their savory, sweet, and spicy flavors. The seating area is a bit limited, so there is usually a 10-15 min wait if you come during the popular times!

Obviously, back again to get our Thai fix. 2 basil fried rice level 2-3 is good for us. One with regular chicken the other with crispy chicken stir fried in (makes it tastier then just plopped on top) Quick and easy 5 min wait for dinner, food comes out super fast and hot. Again satisfied. Did try the roti this time, nice and hot, flaky and yummy to eat, this is more. Desert style then an app dish so i asked for more condensed milk on the side to dip in! Fried rice was nice kick of heat, and it was "wet" i like that. Basil sauce is yummy. Will be back again soon! Busy night loads of takeout orders and delivery orders. Families and people in and out for table seating.

The Indonesian fried rice is amazing. The chicken is so crispy and delicious, especially with the sauce given on the side. The egg is always cooked to the perfect over medium, with crisp whites and a nice gooey yolk. The rice is delicious, soft, and compliments the yolk and chicken wonderfully. This is my favorite dish from Rod D and I've been ordering it ever since a friend of mine got it for us once. Such a filling, delicious, gem of a meal. The serving size is also very generous, this could easily be two meals. Although I have never been in person, the delivery always comes with the meal at the perfect temperature. The rice is still piping hot and the meat is as crispy as if it just came out of the oven. Great packaging and delivery coordinating on the restaurant's part. 10/10 for the Indonesian rice!

For all my Thai lovers... this is your place!! The food was so delicious and flavorful. The Thai iced tea was so refreshing! This restaurant is literally a taste of Thailand. So happy with all the menu options and can't wait to be back! Cute ambiance and 5 star experience.

I ordered for takeout in person and was given my food very quickly, which was a plus. I got: Crab Rangoons - These were great! The filling is nice and creamy but also has a subtle flavor of imitation crab. There's a lot of places that just fill these with cream cheese, but you could definitely taste some of the seafood flavor here. I wasn't crazy about the pineapple dipping sauce, however. It didn't taste sweet enough for me, but that was fine because I actually preferred these without any sauce. Pad Thai - This wasn't great but wasn't terrible. The noodles were a bit bland, but they still did have some of the pad thai flavor to them, and I think they only cost $12.95 or something along those lines. It's pretty rare to get a meal for that affordable of a price, so I didn't hate it, and there were a lot of other similarly priced dishes on their menu. All in all, it is a solid 4/5 - there's a lot of affordable items on their menu and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other noodle dishes and fried rice! I've gotten their pad see ew before and it had a lot more flavor than the pad thai, so I'll probably stay way from the pad thai and order other dishes next time!

I had never heard of this dish before but it quickly became a favorite in my household and we always order at least one order of it. Basically, it is described as "thin egg noodles with Thai style roast pork, fish balls, chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, and topped with crispy wonton." It is AMAZING. On top of what's listed, it comes with ground pork in the noodles and a sweet and savory sauce that perfectly coats the egg noodles. There are 3 different kinds of fish balls - a shrimp one, a whitefish one, and a fried one, as well as peanuts, deliciously juicy roast pork (char sew), and the crispy wontons add that perfect extra texture and crunch. Man, if I could eat this every week I would. Easily a 5/5 - this is the only place I've seen this dish and it is out of this world. The rest of the menu is also great, but you absolutely have to try the Ba Mee Song Kruang if you come here.

The restaurant was casual, but nice, and had several other tables of diners at that time. The staff was very friendly, as well. The menu had some really interesting dishes that I had not seen elsewhere, but I was lame and ordered my usual - Chicken Pad See Ew. I found the poultry to be very tender, and the included broccoli was fresh and crisp. I should note that the broccoli used was the popular Calabrese kind, while Chinese broccoli cost $1 more. In fact, there were several upcharges scattered around the menu, which was a bit much. Anyway, back to the dish...In addition to the broccoli, carrots were also included, which was not typical for Pad See Ew, but I was fine with it! The sweet soy sauce was a bit thick, like a light gravy, so that was a bit unusual, but the flavor was terrific! I heard reasonably positive things about their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles as well. Thaitation would be a place I would frequent if I lived in the area.

Noise levels were low for most of the meal, but at one point turned up to blast a rendition of "happy birthday" for another guest - after that, music stayed a bit too loud, which seemed to clash with the otherwise calm ambiance. They didn't ask for our preferred spice levels for the main dishes, and I would've liked everything a little bit spicier. We originally wanted the salmon spring rolls but they were out. We got Tod Mun (fried fish cakes) instead, and they were really tasty. They were smaller but greater in quantity than what I've seen elsewhere, and the sauce was good. I'm not a huge fan of the side salads, though this one surprised me with the spiciness in the dressing. We ordered the mango curry (which comes with chicken, and we added steamed tofu for no charge) and tofu drunken noodles. The noodles were really good, plus looked more appetizing than the similarly-popular pad thai. I was hoping the mango in the curry would be large, beautiful pieces of sweet mango on top, so I was a little disappointed that the small chunks weren't quite as flavorful as I was hoping for. However, I was still quite happy with the dish overall. It also comes with a (pretty small) bowl of rice on the side. The food by itself would be 4 stars for me, except that at the very end of my meal, as I was polishing off the curry, I found a long hair stuck to the bottom of my plate. It didn't match ours, so I know for sure it came from the staff. I know it happens, but the ick factor is hard to get over. Knocked off a star for the unfortunate hair.

It's $50 for the regular AYCE or $80 for the Premium AYCE. We opted for the former, and it was plenty great. We have done lots of AYCE sushi and I will say this is the BEST of them - I think it's because it's the same grade sushi as they would normally do Ala carte on other nights. The $50 menu had plenty of sashimi and regular nigiri (sushi with rice) options and some Thai too. We had mostly the sashimi Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, Octopus, a few rolls, some edamame, gyoza, shumai. My favorites were the salmon, as the cuts were large, thick and amazing silky, and the gyoza, as it was perfectly crispy. The Pad Thai was bit way too sweet for my taste - a skip for me next time. The decor is very nice - reminded me of a dive Tokyo bar. Service was quick and very attentive. We will be back!

The premium upgrades really are not worth the price difference, especially since they told us they were out of uni only AFTER we had already placed our first order. A server came back and said, pretty unapologetically, "I forgot to tell you we sold out of the uni." It felt like a bait and switch and was really disappointing. They should have let us know before we ordered, or honestly before we were even seated, and at least offered some kind of accommodation or discount. The only premium items that felt worth an upcharge were the torched salmon and salmon roe. The otoro was not very fatty, and the wagyu was just ok, sliced a bit too thin and not very tender. The scallops and sweet shrimp were also ok. The $50 AYCE is a decent value. The sashimi cuts are thick and the quality is high for AYCE. The salmon is my hands down favorite. But tonight's experience was disappointing enough that I probably would not return. And ultimately there are other AYCE spots that offer slightly lower quality at a much lower price, and thus feel more worth it.
