This was my second visit to this salon, the first time I went the guy that did my nails cut me and didn't even do what I had asked for but started free styling it, I trusted the process cuz I didn't wanna be mean but they weren't what I wanted, decided to give it a second try, horrible. So I just went there today my first time there and a lady did my nails she started off right the shape is perfect I had coffin nails but the problem was when she started putting on the stuff she DIDNT get all of the fingernail edges COVERED and when she started putting on the nail polish she went over my nail left Some polish on my fingers and it was just messy!!!!! it'll be the last time I come here and I wouldn't recommend coming to get your nails done here for a special occasion because clearly they don't prioritize perfection which being a nail salon should be one of the main things they should try to look up to. I was on a hunt during a busy summer weekend to get my toes done and really the best time I could figure to get them done was a Sunday morning. Well as you probably know, that's not a time most salons are open. Nails X to the rescue! It is on Albemarle Road so I had limited expectations about the decor/ambiance and it's just about exactly what you'd expect from a cheap nail salon. The massage chairs aren't the best, cheesy graphics, etc. but that's totally OK because they're open Sunday mornings and the price is good. Plus they had a religious broadcast on (first Joel Osteen then Elevation broadcast) so I could both get saved AND save my janky toes. DOUBLE BONUS. But there were two problems. One is that since Sunday morning was slow I was a captive audience for a while and apparently my tech was a Joel Osteen fan because as soon as that show wrapped up my tech talking to me about uber crazy drama with their ex. I won't get into it but sounded like the tech had asked several other clients their take too which would make sense if they're regulars but I was a first timer. The main problem was that I was in such a rush to get out of there that I didn't check the polish job and unfortunately it was full of bubbles but once I realized it I didn't want to go back to get it fixed and get trapped. They didn't have Essie polish which is my preference and I should have brought my own. read more

I made her stop because I was sure she couldn't see and cut my toe nails .. Went in exactly a week ago for a SNS manicure. Nothing was sterile and Covid protected. Didn't even ask to put hand sanitizer on before procedure started. I love this place for my nails and pedicure! I am so particular, PICKY and meticulous with everything from brows, skin and haircut and Tina does everything to perfection like the way I like it! I have never had to look at my French and say anything bad about them! She is perfect with polish, the smile line and making sure there is no cuticle or skin left! And Ricky is also da bomb at pedicures! If you want someone to get all the crust and cuticle, he is the one to go to!! read more

I visited this place about 2 weeks ago after searching for a nail salon that's opened on Sundays. The owner of the shop was really friend and she did my nails. My nails turned out awful. I told her that there were lumps in them and she also had the powder stuck to my cuticles. She tried to fix them but it made them look even worse. She was more concerned that she made them thinner for me and not the fact of how terrible they looked. I seriously doubt that I will ever visit this location again. read more

She used 5 coats then immediately used the fast drying polish which then smudged my polish. She walked away while they were drying and didn't have the decency to see the disgusting finished product. read more

I went last Friday (6/17/16). I got a full set with gel polish and a pedicure. I paid $55, which is a lot cheaper than what I expected. When I arrived almost every chair was full. I waited about 10-15mins for chair to free up. When I got the pedicure first, but there were more people coming in after me, so I understood. Ricky (manager) did my nails.
