Midtown Nails is incredible! I have gotten both gel and SNS manicures and they have been amazing. They last for at least 4 weeks, I have to get them redone because they are grown out but the polish itself has not chipped. Every employee they have does an amazing job and you cannot go wrong with who you book with. The vibe of the salon is also very positive, the staff is happy to chat about anything and everything during your appointment and often the other customers will participate in the conversation as well read more

Poor, customer service, go here if you want to be yelled and harassed, they never said please or thank you. And ask for payment before they finished the pedi. 6/15/24 3:30 pm. read more

The nicest, friendliest staff. Great mani and pedi and awesome quality. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go back again soon. Highly recommend! read more

I returned to Midtown Nails after the pandemic started to allow us to go to salons again. It was my first time back in awhile but the staff is as friendly as ever. The owner greets everyone by name on the phone and when you walk in the door. It's a very warm and welcoming place. The conversations are always great with the other customers and everyone is very friendly. I have always made an appointment at this location and strongly recommend you do the same because they are a smaller salon and do no have a lot of staff. If you're looking for the extras like wine, and mimosas this is not your place. Personally, I like they don't have you waiting for your appointment and they don't rush your service and will help you with color selection and make sure you are happy. read more

Got a pedi there last night and was very happy with the service and quality. Rosie was very nice and did an amazing job.

Midtown Nails has become my go-to spot after abandoning Embassy Nails in the Cotswold Shopping Center. I didn't have a bad experience at Embassy or anything, I just happened to swing by Midtown on a whim one day (it's about half a mile closer to my house) and really enjoyed the experience. Their gel manicures seem to last about 3-5 days longer than others and I almost have to try to screw up the polish from a pedicure. Service is always quick and SO friendly. The nail technicians remember me and what's going on in my life, asking how trips were, how wedding planning is going, etc. They have a huge assortment of colors. So many that I often need 10-minutes to choose my polish. And, as if all that wasn't enough, prices are competitive with all the other salons in Charlotte. read more

This is a very nice nail place hidden almost down a side street. It's In a small shopping center. They have a large selection of nail colors and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive.I went in on a week day and they have no wait. My pedi looks great. The establishment is clean and it was quiet. The peace and quiet was very pleasant. It's nice to not hear back ground conversations. Overall I recommend. I recommended they get a punch card system or reward system for this's who visit often. This will help to bring back those who are able to go somewhere else. read more

Midtown Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

First time here, I am from out of town and I would definitely recommend this nail salon. Very friendly and my nails look fabulous!!

I've been going here for a couple years but recently had a terrible experience. There was a new guy that ended up doing my pedicure, and he cut my nails down so short that it was painful during the entire process! The big toe on my right foot was practically bleeding it was so short in the corner. The owner even offered to put some acrylic there to hel but in the past when I did this it just fell off after a week or so. Not sure if I'll be back! Updated picture 2 weeks later. Still in pain and big toe looks terrible!!! read more

It was my first visit. I made a reservation for my daughter and i at 5PM and arrived the wrong day. Mai was so kind and I had one of the best salon experiences I've had since arriving in Charlotte. Sophie gave me a relaxing and beautiful mani- pedi. There was no rush to be done and gone. The whole staff was pleasant and attentive. I'm looking forward to my next scheduled visit. read more

Just discovered this gem in August and won't hesitate return every month now! You can tell that they have an amazing rapport with long time customers and I will be one myself now. read more

This is a laid back, comfortable salon with great service. My girl and I get mani-pedis here because even guys need to be pampered from time to time. It's off the beaten path, but close to Pizza Peel, so if you feel too froo-froo afterwards you can pound a couple of beers until it wears off. The prices are reasonable and they're super friendly over the phone which makes scheduling appointments a breeze. This is their second location, so they're definitely doing something right. read more

Very dirty nail salon. They reuse their tools without disinfecting. Do not go here. Go somewhere where they are clean!

The technicians at Midtown nails did an awesome job on my mani/pedi. Everyone was very kind, the prices were good, and the wait time was pretty short at noon on a Wednesday. This is a convenient location to Cotswold and surrounding areas. I plan on coming back. read more

This hands down is one of or probably the best place I have ever been to for mani/pedi's. Always so welcoming when I walk in. My busted up dancers feet are completely beautified and best part.....I can feel them!!! Wonderful selection of colors in reg and gel. A definitely diamond in the rough. No one really knows where this one is (which is good for me), but I always rant and rave on how awesome they are. Psst: they are in the next shopping strip after Pizza Peel.***** :-) read more

Outstanding!! I have been to several places in Charlotte that were so called "High-end" and looks super fancy. However, the quality of work and how they treat certain customers... is trash!! Rollin' with some Fabulous Nails and Eyebrows right now thanks to Midtown! Check it out! See pics. This place is awesome!! Everyone is exceptionally skilled. Focused on what they are doing but, still friendly and fun. Sooooo relaxing too! I had a pedi that put me Lala-land! The prices are average but definitely getting way above average quality work! I was traumatized in the past but I found my place! read more

Pedicure was awesome. Very relaxing. Thorough service. Highly recommend, Will definitely be back soon.

I've always had great experiences here. The owner is so friendly and tries to remember customers' names. She always shows me the new colors they got in and helps me pick out just the right polish. The employees engage customers in conversation (if we want it) and I've always had great manicures and pedicures there. They are professional but also very homey. It's nothing fancy but the place is clean and they do great work! read more

I've been going here off and on for 3 years. The last 2 times I got fills, they were clumpy & uneven. Okay technicians. Good service. Recently I went there. I had a $50 pedi. I decided to tip $15 (30% since my feet were a mess. When I checked my statement, I realized they charged me $70. Not the amount, it's the principle. Nikki did respond that she would reimburse me when I returned. Yeah, not going to happen. Just buyer beware. read more

This salon does a pretty good job on nails, but I would only suggest going if you are going alone. Every time I have gone with someone else I have had to sit and wait while the other person gets their entire mani/pedi/whatever and then they have to wait for me to get mine done. Means I'm there for like 2 hours every time! It's not really that crowded but they only have 2 or 3 people working there and they take a long time per person. Again, they do a great job on the nails so I can't complain about that. But it truly does take forever and they don't let you know ahead of time that you will be waiting this long. read more

Pampering yourself is a must, and the ladies at midtown nails make it so much easier to feel good about splurging every now and then! I have been looking for a local nail spot since I moved from south end and I am so glad that I came across midtown nails. They had an hour wait when I went in on a Saturday, so make sure to make an appointment, especially on weekends or during busy hours-but they were very accommodating. Took my name and I came back an hour later after running some errands. The ladies here are so friendly and really talk to you and get to know you while you're getting your nails done which is an added bonus! My nails came out great and lasted just over two weeks! Prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area but the smaller salon gives you a more intimate feel and in my opinion, higher quality work! Can't wait to get my nails done again! read more

I came in later at night and was helped within 15 minutes. Mai was so helpful in making my nails so beautiful! She was very nice and advised me on how to take care of my nails. Hidden gem :) read more

I love trying new nail places and Midtown is right next to my work. It's tucked back next to Shun Lee Palace and off the main road. It's nothing fancy, no frills, but a nice salon. They have lots of polish colors and even combined two colors for me to get the natural appearance I was looking for. The technicians are sweet and I loved my gel manicure. It was difficult for another salon to get the gel off, but that's how you know it lasts and was quality work. Their prices are comparable to other salons and I will be back in the future! read more

I love Mi, Vu and the rest of the ladies/guys. Always a big welcome as soon as you come in the door. Very reasonable prices. I've been coming to the salon for several years and am never disappointed. read more

First time experience today. They were very friendly, helpful and fast but not in a rushing type of way. It was obvious they care about who walks through their doors. They made chit- chat with all clients rather than just talking to each other. This is a no frills place but very nice service and very good quality. I'll come back. Cash only for tips is a bit inconvenient. Good prices. read more

I've been coming here for over a year now and I just love how friendly everyone is. Each person will welcome whoever walks in the door. Mai does my nails and she always does a great job. I love coming here! They always fit me in and the wait (if there is one) is never too long. They're very sweet ladies and they do a great job! They all take their time. I've never left unhappy. Great gel manicure!! It did not peel up at all - and the nail technichians were so nice!! Will go back...

My nails look great every time I come! I've been coming to this location for years and they always do a great job.
