They were both friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail was exactly how I wanted it. The service was excellent from start to finish, and I never felt rushed. I have been going here on and off for a few years and have always loved the people and how quick they usually finish- Tram is a star if you can get her. However, my last visit they had a newer gentleman try to do my nails- he was shaking badly and cut me a few times when I told him multiple times he was hurting me from the file, he smiled and just kept working and continuing to hurt me. After the acrylic was on, another person had to finish up and he did a French tip over my bare nail where you can clearly see under. It took forever, hurt, and now my nails are falling off not even a week later. I also got charged the FULL amount for a person who is clearly in training. I should have said more to them, but I did not have the time to sit there for another hour and a half to get them redone. I'm not sure if I'll be back. read more

I walked in on a Saturday at 11:00am, and they were able to quickly accommodate me for a gel pedicure. I was greeted as soon as I entered the establishment. There was no awkward wait for the nail techs to acknowledge me (if you know you know). They had plenty of colors to choose from and I appreciated that they listed how long each pedicure package would take. I chose the basic pedicure. I left with my feet feeling smooth and moisturized. The pedicurist did a great job shaping and painting my toes. I enjoyed a glass of wine during the service. I do believe this was pricier than I'm used to - $65. I am so glad I discovered this salon about 4 months ago. I've been so pleased - the shop is always clean, appointments taken right on time, and I've been very pleased with the service. My nails actually lasted much longer than I had planned as life got busy and I wasn't able to get there for about a month. Not one break, not one chip. I don't have the prettiest feet in the world, but they always make me feel comfortable and they do a great job to make them pretty! I'm also not one who wants to spend hours in a nail salon for a mani and pedi. They are efficient and not at the sacrifice of doing a quality job. I highly recommend this salon. Visited this place on Sunday for a manicure and pedicure; today is Tuesday and both look like trash. They had one person on my feet and one on my nails...COOL... Well when it was time to polish a guy polished my nails VERY VERY QUICKLY. As I was drying I noticed the sides of my nails hadn't been touched by the polish. I didn't even mention it to the guy because they get very offended when you call them on their mistakes. Ultimately I just told myself "I will never visit them again, and leave a Yelp review!" So BEWARE, don't expect quality...I would never return and/or recommend. I gave them 2 stars because the salon is fairly nice and because I was greeted with a smile. read more

I feel bad leaving a negative review because I think the people that work there are nice but I've had issues too many times not to give an honest review. My biggest complaint is the kids/babies running around and all of their toys. I have kids but when it's my me time and I'm getting my nails done I don't want to be around other people's kids. My final straw was when I asked for water when asked if I wanted something to drink. The lady brought me a bottle of water that had clearly just been filled from either a sink or water dispenser. The seal had already been broken on the lid and there was fresh water dripping on the outside of the bottle. That is so gross to me. How am I to know that the bottle had been sanitized or even just rinsed out? Just no. I won't be going back anymore. Too many other nail salons to choose from. read more

I really like this place. I used to get a gel manicure every 2 weeks but then moved a way for about 2 years. When I moved back to this side of town the owner still remembered me and asked where I had been. The owner and his wife are very sweet people and I find it refreshing that they try to remember your name. I now get acrylic nails and pedicure but it lasts me about 3 weeks so I don't go as often. Awful. Not all of the red tips are even in depth. I wanted a thin red line. The line is not clean for the French tip-red is bleeding down my nail. The tips are different widths as well. They are a mess. She told me they looked this way afterwards because I was moving....? i've been to this salon before and they give decent service but today was just on another level of bad. i originally went in for a fall color and when they handed me the colors for dip, i didn't see any super fall colors so i asked to see more and the lady told me i was already looking at 500 colors. no big deal, i just choose a random one and moved on. when the lady was cutting the cuticles on my toes, she was pinching my skin really bad and finally cut into it and i had to move my foot away. i got a deep cut on the outside of my toe that still stings and she felt bad it seemed but she also kept saying it was because i moved my foot away that she cut me. i read before that the owner starts arguments with people who ask for money off so i just paid and left and didn't make a big stink, but won't be returning there. read more

I usually always do my own nails but I can't stop coming back here! Quan is my usual nail tech and he does an amazing job with manicures and especially pedicures. A few months ago, I stubbed my big toenail so hard that it turned black and finally fell off a few days ago. I'm going on vacation soon and didn't want to go to the beach with a disfigured toenail so luckily Quan was able to apply a false tip with acrylic on my newly growing nub. I'm so happy with the way it looks and I always appreciate his work! I also received a gel manicure from another nail tech (didn't catch her name) and she was so immaculate and precise with the application. I was really impressed; no polish got on my skin and no peeling even after 3 weeks! I bring my mom here for a nice pamper sesh whenever she has time and my sister gets her acrylics done here as well. I tried this place out for the first and last time. There was only one person there getting a pedicure at the time. I can't believe what happened. I walked in and was greeted. I showed Romeo the picture of what I wanted. He said he could do it and told me the price. I PRAY no one gets treated the way I did. I faced the devil or one of his helpers today. I had to look him in his eyes and tell him that GOD do not like ugly. I did read the reviews that they argue with customers, screaming kids and etc. I'm still in disbelief of my experience. I honestly almost cried. I know GOD will handle him. Mature nice lady did my pedicure and rushed. Horrible paint job. But hey it's winter. My toes will be covered. I didn't want to complain. She said you should have come earlier. We have a party coming. (I didn't know) Romeo was arguing another lady that worked there. (nonstop) I thought she was going to leave. He kept getting up (while doing my nails) and saying stuff to her. I could see the way she was looking at him and her tone that she was upset. Energy is real and I felt uncomfortable. I wanted them to stop so bad. I even told him that he cut my nails too short and pointed out some other places that he messed up on. He said that he would shorten the others to match. I said no that's not what I asked for. He then said it's too late. He said that I was crazy and I should go back to where I been going. I said I agree. He called me crazy numerous of times. Who does that? He said ok do you want me to finish. I said only if you can fix the way I wanted. If not take them off. Let them soak off. He got up. He said I'm going to charge you. I said that's fine. He said do want to pay me or I'll call the police?. I was shocked. I said are you serious? I said look the money isn't the issue but the way you are treating me is. I never said I wasn't going to pay you. Why are you talking to me like this? I was calm and nice. There was a party going on in the back. Kids were screaming. I don't like drama. I remained calm and cool. He called the police and I asked to speak to them. He handed me his phone and I spoke with officer. I did tell her what happened. I agreed to pay for pedicure. I wanted the nails off. I never got buffering, and polished. He agreed to do that did the complete opposite. He took my card off the table and charged it. I sat down calmly and said you need to fix my nails the way I asked or take it off. I called my friend whom is an attorney and she said leave. You don't deserve to be treated that way. Maybe it was because he was having a bad day or cause I'm black. I have no clue. I never gone through this before. read more

Avoid getting SNS or dip powder nails from this place! Go to Ultra Nail Bar instead! I made the mistake of settling for this place because I didn't feel like waiting for a spot to open up at my usual nail salon and I would have been better off waiting 2 hours at Ultra. This place applied the powder super thick and heavy and didn't even know which polish coat to use at which time. The powder looks awful on my nails and is really dull! The guy was also incredibly rough when filing my nails down and he cut my cuticles in multiple places. Then, he asked me to go wash my hands before he even put the top coat on top of the dip powder--I knew that was not how it is supposed to go. Never, ever has any other salon ever had me do that...and what a horrible result it yielded! Why on earth would a business carry a product and offer a service if they don't even know what the heck they're doing? I paid the $40 just to get out of there and away from the chaos and incessant kids music via iPad. The place was total madness and would not ever recommend going here. read more

My boyfriend and I went to go get pedicures and we got seated shortly after getting there even though we didn't make an appointment which was awesome because normally it takes forever at other nail salons if you haven't made an appointment. The ladies who did our nails & feet were so nice and made sure we had something to drink if we needed as well as making sure we were comfortable. I have been going here for years (7+ years) and cannot seem to find any place that does a better job than them! I have acrylics with gel polish and it's lasts for 3, sometimes 4 weeks, without the polish losing its shine or chipping. They are able to get your nails done quick, while maintaining high quality service. The owners Romeo and Tram are very kind and professional and I have never had a problem with them. They treat their customers right and the staff is kind and professional. I have been able to recommend this place to my mom and grandmother who also now go here regularly! They were quick to get me in which should've been a red flag. I asked for a milky white and powder. While removing my nails he drilled the dip from my nails without letting it soften enough resulting in red spots on my nail bed from filing away too much of my natural nail. He immediately blamed it on my previous nail techs. We agreed on funny bunny which I am familiar with. What I got was a very gritty, uneven finish. I'm a cosmetologist and I know the quality of a dip powder and this was not up to par for the pricing. After asking him to even out a wavy part of my nail the woman next to him busted out laughing and he said it might have touched the towel. It did not and wouldn't not have made it look this way. I asked for short nails and wasn't asked if I liked the shape or length until the gel finish was applied. I have never written a review, but I have to share my visit. I took my 4 year old daughter to get mani and pedi's. The employees brought their two young children to work and had them posted up in high chairs watching their iPads (loud). There was food, pieces of clothing and junk all around them on the floor. One of the children got down and was running around and sliding on the stools completely naked from the bottom down while my daughter stared at him. He was walked up and down the salon for the entire hour we were there completely exposed. No one tried to put pants on him or keep in him in the back away from clients. At one point he screamed for 3 minutes straight in the front of the salon and all the employees just ignored him like it wasn't happening. On to the actual service: The man doing my manicure didn't just cut my cuticles he kept pulling at them which was painful. My nails were not evenly rounded and the polish was all over my cuticles and outside of my nail. Finally, they charged me $30 for my 4 year old to have to her feet soaked, lotion and polish applied. I was very disappointed with the service.As I was sitting getting my manicure my nails were filed. All of a sudden she proceed to cut my cuticles without soaking first. Your only suppose to do a one time cut and not pluck the cuticle, it will cause hangnails. My pedicure was done the same way. After my mani and pedi was ready to leave and pay. The woman that did my pedi gotten polish on my spandex and try to play it off,I notice she tried to rub it off.I told her to put polish remover to see if she could get it out it worked. Was ready to pay my bill they charged me an extra five dollars for polish which should already be included in the price of a mani and pedi, never heard of this before. I was very unhappy. This was the second time they done this, before was the plastic bag that is put in the pedi tub. Very unprofessional you come to relax. They allow their children to ride through the salon while costumers are there running and playing. I will not return and I will not recomend services.I've owned my a salon for twenty or so years . I got a gel manicure and the guy (Danny) who did my nails was awesome he took his time and was very detail oriented which I so appreciate. Do not waste your money or time! I went in for a gel pedicure the water was ice cold and I asked several times to turn it warm they didn't even put anything in the water it was Pwater. I have never been so rushed in my life they didn't even rinse the salt off my legs and the polish with applied so thin and yes they charged me $52! They totally suck! read more

She rushed through my entire pedi, barely rubbed the lotion in on my legs and feet, then gave a rushed polished job that a 10y/o could have done. After speaking to the gentleman in charge, even he could not deny the horrible job she had done which I am guessing is not the first time judging how he shook his head in disappointment. This nail spa is a little different than the many around the Arboretum. They are purely walk-in only and cash only currently. They opened recently so they aren't quite finished with the salon, but my experience was great. The manicurists are from MEGA so there are familiar faces. Tried it yesterday and I am very pleased with my gel manicure and pedicure. Seems like they are trying to pick up business so if you need a quick manicure or pedicure this is the place to go! This is a nice establishment however the nech tech that did my gel manicure did a horrible job. I asked for my nails cut but she literally cut them all the way to the nail bed and never asked if the length was acceptable before proceeding. When I realized what she had done it was too late. I was pretty upset by how short they were because it made my fingers sore. She also did a bad job at applying to gel polish and the description for gel mani includes cuticle oil and hot towel, she did not do either. The manager just made an excuse for her and said you should have said just trim. I don't think I will visit again. Also with pedicures they charge .50¢ more than what's posted on their sign for the plastic bag they use to line the foot tub. Why not just include it in the price? read more
