Hands down the worst salon experience I've ever had. The amount of nail dust in this salon is unbelievable--I ended up with contact dermatitis after working there because dust was constantly everywhere. Management never even bothered to greet staff in the mornings, yet expected you to work all day while treating you like a W-2 employee even though nail salon are commission 60/40. The owners constantly talked about "room for growth," but I never saw it. They'd make you switch workstations just so they could take your chair, and they even took my dust collector in the middle of a client's service because they wanted to use it themselves. It felt unprofessional, disorganized, and like the only priority was the owners' convenience. I would never recommend working here This salon has been reported to NC state cosmetic board for racial discrimination towards employees ,unsanitary conditions . A commission based salon with employee - like control. Roaches crawling around all in back on food in microwave . Just disgusting like souls of the people who own it . I thought really long and hard about writing this review as a previous employee .You can't keep treating individuals wrongfully ! That's why the salon struggles to keep staff. read more

My mom and I have been going here for years and have always had good results. The dip powder nails last through construction work and farm chores, and the pamper pedicure is amazingly relaxing. Very mellow, professional, quiet but friendly vibes. The woman who runs the place is the best! read more

I didn't like how my nails turned out. The person who did them accidentally cut my skin, but she did not apologize but I don't know if she noticed. I would suggest scheduling an appointment, but during my last visit, one of the other customers arrived five minutes late, and the nail technician seemed annoyed as if she expected the appointment to be canceled. I really did not have the best experience but I think if you do go then you should schedule an appointment. read more

Won't be going back here. I'm super disappointed with this place. I became a regular but the new people hired are not good with nails. My nails were always crooked, and the last 2 nails sets that I got, chipped within 1-2 days after getting them done. Not to mention-they are wayyyy over priced for their work. I will say Sam is nice and fixed my nails both times they were messed up. (He didn't do them) The other owner I think (the lady) rushes my nails every single time and it makes me nervous when she has those sharp tools around. I shouldn't be on the edge of my seat when I get my nails done...She's constantly on her phone as well. If you do go here, just ask for Sam. He will do it right. read more

Extremely disappointed. I hate complaining but I'm honestly in tears over my manicure. I went in for a mani/pedi. I walked in 10 minutes early to have enough time to pick a color and Sam rushed me while picking a color and I grabbed whatever color I saw and went to sit down. Sam did my manicure so fast that I didn't even get to see my nails as when he put one hand in the gel curer, he was already working on the next. He did a typical base coat and 3 coats of color. When he went to do the top coat I finally got a chance to look at my nails and asked if this was the final result. He responded "yes". I told him I wasn't happy with it because it was uneven. There were spots where it looked thick and spots where it needed more polish. I told him that I didn't realize that it would be uneven. Not to mention that my pinky nail had a fuzzy in it. He told me that it is uneven because I picked a thin nail polish. I asked if I could pick another color and he got up and told me to go get my pedicure with Jessica. He seemed very bothered that I didn't like my nails. Jessica was amazing. She did a wonderful job and helped me pick another color. My pedicure was good. Then they go to fix my nails after my pedicure and just applied TWO MORE coats on top. At this point I have SEVEN COATS of polish on. I told them the color was fine but I didn't want so many coats of polish. My nail color is nice but they look extremely thick. The worst part is that I'm about to leave for a trip in two days and don't have time to find someone else to redo my gel manicure. I wish they would have just removed the old nail polish and added the new polish. I would've even paid extra for them to remove the old polish but they didn't even offer and I hate complaining. It was my first time here and sad to say that I probably will not be back. read more

Made an appointment... arrived on time. Was helped 30 minutes late. The polish was clearly diluted. It stayed on for 2 days (polish usually stays on me forever). I in no way got what I asked for. Haven't been here in a while. So sad to see how down hill it's gone . The pedicure chairs were literally worn out , the place was dirty, and lots of clutter, the toilet wasn't working and repairs were done poorly. The techs were not using sterilized utensils and the staff could not communicate with the customers. They seem to do short cuts and are trained in practices that are not nail friendly . The women at My Bella Spa are incredibly talented and kind! I recently went to a salon out of town and my SNS nails turned out terribly. Tonight, I went to see Mai at My Bella Spa - Austin Village and she did not disappoint!!! She was appalled at the condition of my nails (after just one week) and immediately started to make my nails beautiful again. Mai is engaging, funny, friendly, and above all else, she knows what she is doing!! My nails look and feel fantastic. Prior to visiting My Bella Spa, my SNS nails were thick, heavy, and felt fragile. Now they are the perfect length, thickness, and shape! Mai transformed my nails and boosted my confidence. My Bella Spa is also great with pedicures and waxing. I'm picky with my eyebrows and I have never left dissatisfied. Oh, and they're EXCELLENT with matching colors or finding a color that you try and describe. The girl that did my nails was nice and did a decent job but I had a gift certificate for "My Bella Spa" and when I went to pay the girl told me my gift certificate was not valid at this location and only the "My Bella Spa" it was purchased at because "different owners". Seems odd that they all can carry the same name but not honor gift certificates with their companies name on it. I will not be returning to this nail salon. read more

Walked in on a Saturday after unsuccessfully trying 5 other salons and we were greeted quickly then immediately offered a seat. Space is super clean, incredibly calming and perfectly peaceful without a lot of extraneous odor from products. Got the "My Bella Deluxe Pedi" from Nancy and Tony....they switched halfway through. Massage chair perfect, attention to my toes pristine and the lower leg massage luxurious. Pricing was on par and we plan on returning. Host was a very polite and accommodating young man. it makes me sad to have to update this review but it has to be done!! i'm frustrated, upset, and here are a few reasons why... management changed at this location and despite all the great changes they are attempting to make now, as a customer, i feel unappreciated. every visit is rushed, and with no receptionist, my visits are stopped every few minutes for phone calls. when this happens, i have to remind my nail tech of where they left off. i have never felt my nails get so painfully hot when removing SNS, and every time now i'm flinching away with insane heat on my nails. also, i will arrive on time for my appointments and usually have to wait 10-20 minutes to be seen. all of this is super disappointing because not only do i have to change my go-to nail salon, they have also increased prices. as a college student, paying $50 for SNS without a manicure, and not a great set, is very upsetting. i will not be coming back anytime soon, hopefully they will get it together!! read more

I've been to this salon a few times, but my recent visit will absolutely be my last. While I was getting my nails done, a scruffy man walked in clearly toting a pistol tucked into the back of his pants. He proceeded to approach customers, carrying on bizarre conversations. He was greeted by a few female employees as if there was nothing wrong, and they acted like he was an old friend and valued client. While I understand that this in an open carry state, the situation, his erratic behavior, and a few of the employees' reactions made me extremely uncomfortable, and I will never step foot in there again. read more
