Pedicure was good but my toes look like my kids painted them. I was really surprised at the quality, wanted to like this place.

My two teenage daughters went to cosmo nails yesterday for a full set of acrylic nails. It was only their second time going. The first time was an entirely different experience. This is what one of my daughters nails looked like. It looks like a 5 year old did them. AWFUL! They are bulky, not smooth, the shape is supposed to be almond and paint was all around the nails. They won't let me go up there and complain so I'm leaving my review here. We will never be back. This is 65 + tip wasted. read more

I've had good experiences with pedicures, but the manicures leave much to be desired. First, they keep putting me with this very nice lady who doesn't speak a word of English and can't understand a word I say. She's very rough and painful when preparing my nails and cleaning the cuticles. Her polish application is sloppy and uneven. I have VERY strong and long natural nails that never break. I only get the gel polish when I don't have a lot of time for them to dry. Never had a problem until this lady did a color change for me. She DESTROYED my finger nails! My nails are peeling like paper so I keep having to cut them nearly to the quick. I am praying that once the whole nail bed has regrown fully, I will have my normal nails again. I'll go back for a pedicure, but never a manicure. If they put me with this woman again, I will walk out. read more

i came to get my nails done last Tuesday i received chunky and bumpy nails i came back and got them fixed loved them 4 days later one of my nails snapped in half after i payed 80$ for this set i come back to get it fixed and am greeted with rude remarks and stares. not good very disappointed. i used to come here all the time loved this place. very upset and will not be coming back. read more

I was visiting the area and by chance saw this nail salon. I was met by a very kind & professional nail technician. His name was Khenji. Ladies! He was extremely informative and made me feel confident that I was going to be happy with my nails. Beings the fall is upon us, I went with burnt orange. Initially I requested gel but after speaking to him, and the shape of my nails, I went with powder. Khenji made sure i was happy with the outcome. P.S. He has a great personality too. Cosmo nail lounge is my new go to and forever nail spot. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcoming smiles . I definitely would recommend an appointment if you come in the evenings or weekends. Ask for Kelly for SNS and Tina for a pedicure. Kelly is amazing at designs, shaping, and is just an all around bubbly sweet person. You won't regret your nails done by her. Tina did a great pedicure as well. I think this place could be Hit or Miss based on which technician you get. I had not planned to get my nails done. I was having lunch next door at the Mexican restaurant and I stuck my head in the check them out. I was overdue for a pedicure and they had the availability. I was not introduced to the technician so I don't know her name. The receptionist was professional and kind. She upsold me to a manicure and a pedicure because of a discount they offered and I had the time so I said sure. I had recently broke one of my fingers and it was crooked so I wasn't interested in spending extra money on my fingers.... just my toes. I don't think she was happy that I was not going to get gel nails for my hands. She acted irritated with me and kept talking under her breath. She put so many coats of nail polish on my nails. I even asked her how many coats of color was she going to use. She confirmed with the third coat. I thought maybe I had lost track of counting. Plus she put two different clear coats on my nails before adding color. I sat for over 10 minutes with the built in fans. When we got to the pedicure, after asking a while, she asked me if I wanted my toenails cut down and I had just explained that I was two weeks late getting my toes done. So I said yes, definitely! I want them taken down as much as you can please. After she did, I commented that were not taken down enough and would she shorten them a little more. She basically said she could not. So I just said to her to stop and I would go somewhere, where they could. So, because I did not get the pedicure I had to pay the full price for the manicure which I did and left a $5 tip. Had I not been upset when I left, it would have been a $10 gratuity. I knew my nails were not dry yet so I was very careful gathering my belongings and getting to my car only to see that I had three nails already nicked. Grrrr but I decided to let it go. I went across the street and got my car washed at Auto Bell snd chill out. When I got back in my car, I noticed a few more dinked nails. I decided I wanted to go back and show the manager and request my money be reimbursed to my card. I called from the car and was told the manager wasn't in that day. I would have to call back the following day which I did remember to do. She gave me one option and it was to drive back and she would redo my nails within 3 days. So I have to say the owner offered to fix the problem. It was on a Friday when we spoke. I was not available on Saturday or Sunday so that only left Monday for me to come in and I had planned to. As the primary caretaker for my elderly parents, I was not able to make it there on that Monday. And I really did not want to have to call this manager again and explain why I couldn't get there. I wish I knew the name of this asian lady but she was no lady in my opinion. Maybe she was just having a very bad day or maybe this is her normal disposition. I have no plans to go back under the current management. The place could be beautiful inside. Someone had a vision at one time, but now it's just a cluttered looking nail salon. I have enough hassles in my life that I don't need hassles when I go in to a place that I should be able to relax and enjoy their services. Nice salon which is why I am giving it one star. Tina is TERRIBLE and she s so over her career. Aggressive in her care and sloppy work. I worked as a nurse for 21 years. Early on in my career we only had access to latex gloves. My hands would get dry and cracked in the winter. After much exposure to latex gloves, I developed an allergy that has worsened over time. I told Tina as I sat down. She ripped off her gloves. The powder caused me to start coughing. Tina spoke in her language to the technician on her other side. She went on a rant and was laughing. Despite her aggressive technique and rude behavior, I left a five dollar tip. I did so knowing that these technicians work on tips. When she saw how much I left her, she turned around to speak to her coworkers in her language and started laughing. read more

I made an appointment for 5:30pm last night for a gel manicure. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was with Tom at his station moments later. He was extremely friendly and a perfectionist. Been to this place several times and never had such a bad experience. Came in to get a fill and walked out with nails that were rushed through ,messed up, and they charged me 20 extra then what I paid when I got a full set there. They claimed that it's 45 for a full set and 15 xtra for gel. Which is ridiculous. I payed 70 in total for a fill. You'd get better experience painting your nails yourself. Kei is amazing. I cannot say enough about his professionalism, his kindness and his work ethic....even when I give him a hard time and ask for him to go above and beyond. He is very talented. Tina, Demi, Tony and Holly are also amazing and they do whatever it takes to make sure you leave with beautiful nails. I do not feel rushed, EVERYONE I have ever spoken to there is very friendly and personable so I am not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. My nails typically begin to wear down around 2 to 3 weeks later which is NORMAL. Pedicures last even longer. If you tell them to make the SNS dips thinner, they will. If you notice a flaw, they will fix it. read more

SNS nails applied by Kim. all was going well until she applied the SNS powder nails were very thick and bubbly. after I washed hands SNS smudged which was unusual she got upset when I showed her. she fixed and left the nails even more thick i shared I was unhappy she got more upset I spoke to Debbie and showed her my nails. I said please remove I have been here for almost 2 hours she offered to fix, applied gel over them and I still was not happy with the thickness and I shared this with her.she had priced me $45 and charged me $50 she said because I has coffin shape I said they were already shaped coffin she said because they had to be cut down and shape which is not true. I shared that should be mentioned when price is asked and she was not accommodating at all. told me she did not charge me for the gel which I would hope not since she was trying to fix a job that was unsatisfactory. I've been here several times. The outcome is hit or miss!! They over charge when they can. $15 yo add a simple design on 2 nails. So $65 for dip with added 2 stripes on 2 nails! How much would it be for 10 nails, like $95??? That's outrageous. Then today, I had them file my nails a little shorter and instead of keeping the squared shape, I asked just to round them a bit to be more almond-well when I checked out, I was charge $5 just to file them down to a different shape! That's just crazy! My bill said $45 for sns then $5 for tips! I didn't add tips, they literally just filed the corners a little bit. To top it off, I had a 3pm appointment...got there 4 min late (totally my fault) but they didn't start soaking my nails till 3:16, then at 3:37 I asked if someone was going to actually start by nails and they said yes. Im finally finishing at 4:20pm! Simple pink color dip and nearly 90 min later I'm done. Too many mail places around to be having bad business like this... sad because I wanted to support this newer salon. I'm tired of not knowing when I will have a good experience. read more
