I went for a pedicure. In trimming my toenail, Abbie cut my toe. It was bleeding. She did not apologize, but said my nail was hard to trim! I've been here several times but never had this happen before. I am really mixed about returning. read more

I have always had good service with lily but this past time it was not good. The lady did my pedicure and forgot to use the towels on my legs. She then moved me to do my sns. She did well and then a lady walked in who said she wanted her to do her nails after that she rushed and pretty much just did a crappy job at the end. To pay $130 for all of that is WILD! Came in for a gel polish change and asked for a sticker design as well. The tech I got was in such a rush that she glopped the polish on and made it chunky and the edges were unclean. I had polish all over my nails, and she forgot to do the design. I told a different tech that I was unsatisfied and she worked on my nails to try to salvage it but They still look messy even after the second round. Def don't recommend coming here as it seems that either they rush through appointments or their skills just aren't up to par. My sister's nails also looked unclean with the edges very messy. read more

One way to never earn my business again is to give poor customer service. I simply wanted an eyebrow wax. I was acknowledged and greeted when I walked in. I was told the wait was brief for an eyebrow wax so I decide to stay. I sat. And I sat. And I sat. Two other ladies who came in after me who perhaps had appointments were taken before me. No problem. But the problem was that I wasn't acknowledged any more. So what did I do? Stood up to leave. Still nothing. That's my last visit. 11/14/17 Everyone deserves a second chance, right? So I gave this spot one more chance. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and shockingly recognized for my not-so-favorable last review! I received an apology and an explanation. DO NOT COME HERE ON A FRIDAY WITHOUT AND APPOINTMENT! Now that that's been said, I actually do like this place. They have always been very nice and do a great job. This particular Friday was crazy. I was in there for 2 1/2 hours just for the sns. They never told me how long the wait would be (I also never asked). I did get very impatient toward the end, but I'm not even necessarily mad at them. They had to start turning away people because they were so packed. Seemed like a few extra staff could have helped alleviate the situation. They even mentioned the staffing issue. I went in for sns dip and was planning on leaving my tips on. I guess I didn't realize they melt off while getting the sns off? Since I was already Over an hour and a half into the wait, I just told them to forget new tips and just put it on my natural nail. Which is short, but not this short. They filed away for a very long time and made my nails so short it hurt. Even cut me once. Idk if they should have steered me in a different direction or this was over done, but I left pretty grumpy. This nail salon is located in the Shops at Wesley Chapel, the same shopping center as 201 Central. $60 for basic pedi & gel color change was a little more than what I usually pay for the same service. However, they did have a good selection of color & the shop was clean. Everyone was very nice & the nail techs working on me did a good job. All in all, I was pleased with my service, but there was nothing really special or different about this shop. I would have given them 4 stars if the pricing had been more in line with the other local shops that are comparable. This may not be my #1 favorite nail salon, but I would go here again. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. I walked in the building around 10 am today, Saturday, and it was busy. It is also prom season so I was not at all surprised that they were busy. I only needed a set of French tip acrylics and they told me it would be about a 15 to 20 min wait. I ended up waiting 40 minutes but only because a lady came in who had an appointment at 10:30. So I had Daisy do my nails and she did such a good job! It was my first time getting acrylics so I kept asking lots of questions and Daisy explained everything to me. I will definitely ask for her next time I go in! Also, I feel like this is really important to say, a lot of women in there were talking about how much they love Lily Nail Spa. Completely botched my eyebrows, overcharged for my pedicure, got charged for a gel manicure when I simply asked for a GEL POLISH as well as a horrible design that looks nothing like the picture. This isn't the first time this place botched my eyebrows, years ago I was actually burned at how hot the wax was. I will never be returning and I am done referring my friends to this nail salon. The only good worker, Kai, (besides Holly) doesn't even work there anymore. This place is a complete JOKE! It seems they hire just anybody wit the lack of skill and communication. Visiting from NY I found myself in need of an SNS manicure. I went to Lily's based on a friend of a friend's recommendation to see Heather. I read the reviews and honestly was concerned, but I made my appointment for SNS. I did have to wait for awhile after choosing my color with no one saying anything to me, it was a little awkward, but then Heather did my SNS and I am pleased with the service. My Mom came with me and on a whim had Helen do her SNS, she is equally as pleased. I will know as days go on to see how they last, but I would go back when I visit again. I will never visit this salon again. I did a walk in to get a gel overlay on my real fingernails, along with a basic pedicure. I wear OPI Infinite Shine 2 polish, in which I've been wearing for the past two to three months. Once the worker realized that I wasn't spending a lot of money on false tips, and upgraded pedicure services, she decided to raise the price on the service that I was receiving. I was charged an extra three dollars! supposedly, because the finger nail polish that I selected had a silver top. I want to remind you that I've been going to this for the past two to three months getting the same service each time. No one has ever charged me three dollars more for having a fingernail polish with a silver top. I will never go back to this salon again. This is not how you treat customers. This place is terrible. We had appts for pedicures today. We were put into seats and then waited 45 minutes. Never saw the "menu" for options. Water got cold. Someone started one of us then stopped and went back to someone doing SNS. They finally came back to finish later. Two other ladies came in after us got sat and waited a long time as well. Someone started one of them and no one ever came back for the second person. Two people came in after them and they helped them first. She got skipped over twice (!). I mentioned as we were leaving they still needed to help then other woman and they had no clue!! I understand SNS makes more money but if someone makes an appt in advance they should not wait almost an hour. Very unprofessional. read more

I had a 2:15pm appointment for a gel mani/pedi. Sat in tub for 1 hour before they started pedi. They took a walk-in before me. I removed my own polish. Pedi was horrible and they used polish on my nails instead of gel. Broke a nail on same day. They charged me full price. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Twice they've tried to push me off to some one new who's skills are mediocre but you are required to pay same price even when your not happy. Wish I could have put no stars. After today they have now officially lost my business and it's okay that my little 35.00 to some times 100.00 doesn't hurt them. It doesn't matter wether you have an appointment or not I noticed when a certain clientele comes in wanting more services a manicure or pedicure that was waiting longer gets told to make an appointment or come back in an hour. Keep that clientele I am now going to Ivy Nail Spa which is closer to my house a nicer salon and they actually know how to treat their customers! You lost a 5 + years customer and her whole family. I've been here 4 times. Each time with an appointment and only once did I not sit and wait for 20 minutes or more. The longest has been 35 minutes. They do the best job of any place I've been to in Charlotte but the inability to keep an appointment is very frustrating. read more

I've been here several times. The nail Technicians do a great job. However, the salon badly needs some TLC. They need to put a few dollars into this place. Cracked and peeling countertops and some of the seating is cracked. I do know I have gotten one nail fungus from a manicure. I do hope they clean it up because I do like the work they do. read more

As much as I love how close this place is to my home, I hate how long it takes to get my SNS nails and pedicure done. I sit around half the time waiting for someone to start. Lily nails opens at 9am on Sat and there is only 1 worker there running around trying to get everyone situated. Everyone else start walking in around 930-10a they don't say good morning, just walk right in and put their things in the back and get started working. I just wish they had more workers that were a little more friendlier when they walk in and that they would Make the customers feel like they're excited to be there and also that it didn't take 2 1/2 hrs to get my stuff done. read more
