"growth" lol. But when I tell you Kait put me completely at ease, that's honestly an understatement. My niece recommended Charlotte Sugaring and told me to book with either Christine or Kait. I chose Kait because her sweet smile in the picture just drew me in--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked into the shop, I was greeted with the warmest energy. I met Christine first, and she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Then a stunning Mongolian goddess came out to the lobby (cheekbones for days!), and when I complimented her--because I do not hand those out unless I mean it--she smiled and said, "Oh, you'll be fine," in the sweetest way when I told her I was nervous. And then... there was Kait. She's a dead ringer for Kaley Cuoco--so stinkin' cute--and her energy is pure sunshine. From the moment we started, she talked me through every step, which I so needed, and she made the whole experience feel like catching up over coffee with a friend. The room had low, soothing lighting, relaxing music, and the perfect post-wax oil that made the whole thing feel like a mini spa moment. Kait isn't just good at what she does--she's genuinely kind, comforting, and so easy to talk to. I felt safe, seen, and taken care of in a way I didn't expect from a waxing appointment. They encouraged me to get one, so I faced my fear and made an appointment. Once I arrived and checked in, I waited maybe 1 minute before I went to the back. I had my nervous laugh going, but my girl made me feel comfortable the entire time, even when I wanted to scream! The vibe and music was awesome, helping me to take my mind off of it. She was friendly and helpful. She said that the sugar was not turned on when she got there. Luckily them out the wax was. So the sugar was super hard. I grew out my leg hair for three weeks for sugar I was only in town for five days. So not exactly happy but happy I was able to get at least my hair removed that day. The girl was sweet and gave me a first time discount. Pertaining to the wax she didn't absolutely fantastic job it was painless with the wax that they use on the downtown area it's a hard wax and it's very helpful. I would return to utilize her services. A common theme in my reviews lately is that they remind me and help me to remember that the world is not a perfect place and I can't always get what I want.

After reading other reviews, I booked a Brazilian with Ashley and I loved her so much I bought a package! Ashley was prompt, incredibly welcoming and very receptive to my needs during the experience. She explained each step to me, even though this is by no means my first rodeo, to ensure I was comfortable and felt in control of the appointment. That said, Ashley's technique was wonderful and she had me in and out of the room in 15 minutes (LOVE! Who wants to spend extra time on the paper-lined table, am I right?) She was very friendly and seemed to know what she was doing. I had full facial waxing. I knew something was not quite right when I felt stings on the corner of my eyes and the right side of my cheek. When I got home and looked closely in the mirror I saw that I had several red abrasion. Not sure if it was because the wax was too hot and burned my skin or if my skin was ripped. So I had a bit of scabbing on my face for a few days which reduced my enthusiasm for returning for future waxing here. I'm not sure what went wrong and this is not my first facial waxing. It's really too bad because I like the location and the staff.
