I went back for a second visit and it was the opposite. I had an appointment but it was rushed to accommodate walk ins. The entire process was rushed. The tech didn't fully remove my prior manicure, just filed it down a little then painted over it. My nails were cut to uneven lengths and then filed crooked. I asked to fix it a few times before I gave up. The nail polish was applied unevenly and the tech didn't wait for the full uv cycle to finish before going to the next coat. The tech also painted far from the cuticle so it looks like I already have a week of grow out not that it's a fresh manicure. No surprise, it started peeling off two days later.

I've come in with pictures of what I want a few times, and they really take their time helping me find a color that matches what I'm showing them. The salon is always very clean, and there's such a great sense of community there. Every time I'm in, they're greeting customers by name, and it's clear they have a lot of regulars. The next day I received a reminder text , to which I responded. Thank you I will see you tomorrow. When I got to Divine Nail Bar , I told them I had an 3:00 appointment with Mary. They told me Mary doesn't work today. I stoped got out my phone , showed them the text confirmation. They then called Mary, put her on the phone with me. She said she wasn't feeling well and someone else could t take care of me. I went there personally to schedule appt. The staff that was there did not know what to do...it would have been nice a common courtesy to text me if she was really ill and had to give me an opportunity to change an appointment. I called to see if they had a wait time because it's Saturday afternoon, I always assume all nail salons are busy. They said they had no wait, so we got there asap. They sat us immediately and they gave us the menu to choose our pedicures and my bf also got just a basic manicure as well. We both got the volcano pedicure (I don't remember the cost) but you get to choose a scent and I got tropical citrus and he got green tea and aloe Vera. The quality of the pedicure itself was top notch. She first took the gel off my toes, soaked and cleaned my nails, used a sugar scrub. I hate when they clean up my nails because I'm so sensitive that it hurts but only for a moment. When they scrubbed my feet it felt so good. They were cleaning the soul out of me lol. They used hot stones on my legs and they used the oranges to rub on the skin as well. There was so many hot / cold sensations, I didn't know what to do with myself. The whole experience was so amazing and relaxing. Now when it was ready to paint my toes, I was scared cuz some ppl suck at doing French but the lady did her thing ! I asked for bubble bath base and she did just that, and when I said thin white line, she did not disappoint. I loved every second of my pedicure. My bf enjoyed his experience as well. If possible, we will definitely be back but if you're in the Fort Mill area, try them out. I'll give them a 8/10. Kelly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. She was meticulous in the preparation of my nails for polish. She gave a very relaxing foot and lower leg massage, as well. From across the room, one of the many masked techs, said 'sign in'. That was the first time in all previous visits I was asked to do that. There was an appointment book lying there so I was looking for my name under the time slot. Again, a masked person across the room, yells, the computer, the computer. I entered my info on the computer and waited for about 10 minutes. No one walked to the reception desk to speak to me. I walked out, I had to get some air to breathe. It was simply overwhelming and it was such a bad experience, I will not be returning. Maybe if I spoke Vietnamese or wore and oxygen mask it might be different. But hey, they are just too many other good options in the growing town of Fort Mill.
