I really tried to like my nails from this visit, but for 80 dollars, I don't see how this was worth it. I haven't treated myself to getting them done in so long and I was so excited. I showed an inspo picture and my nails do not look like this at all. I also don't think they really look like cat eyes and I was truly so excited to get this done for my birthday. I had my best ever gel pedicure at Bliss Nail Spa. My feet feel absolutely wonderful. There are several options and I chose the Bliss that was a little above the mid price point. It included massage, warm stones and paraffin. The gel is extra but well worth it to be able to slip your shoes on without risking a smudge. I also got a dip powder manicure in the same neutral shade (67). Most importantly I felt relaxed, peaceful and pampered. A beverage of water, soda or mimosa is offered. I just moved to the Carolinas and have been trying to find a local nail spot to be my go to. I had Emmy assist me with a gel manicure and she was wonderful. It was unfortunate that they're unable to do a manicure and pedicure at the same time because I don't have 2+ hours in my day to get both done but I've been told getting both done at the same time out here isn't normal. My sister and I popped in on a Saturday as a walk-in because she was visiting me and I just moved here so I wasn't sure of any good nails salons to go to yet. We both got mani pedis. For Saturday it was very relaxing and peaceful. Any nail salon that I have ever set foot in on a weekend is pure chaos because of the number of clients they had over booked so their technicians are living on adrenaline and a prayer. All of the technicians were pleasant and calm. I think this may be the best gel manicure that I've ever had. Normally the edges start lifting, but I'm over a week out and the gel manicure is on their securely. I'm really pleased. My sister was so relaxed when I looked over at her. Because I couldn't decide on one color, I picked two - the accent nail ("It's A Boy") is close to the color of the dress that I'm wearing for the wedding, but purple is my favorite color. Showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early, walked was asked if I had an appointment I confirmed that I did, was asked to wash my hands before picking out the color. After all that was done and I'm seated waiting for my nail tech. I was approached by another woman who asked me if I had an appointment, I showed her the email and she conferred with her associate that the schedule should've have been blocked off. I've NEVER been so humiliated in my life!!! I went today with my daughter for mommy/daughter time and the individual who did my nails very loudly expressed how disgusting my feet were. I was so embarrassed and will never return. I have a medical condition that causes dry skin and sometimes I'm aggressive when I cut my nails because of this. But I don't feel I need to explain all of this to my nail technician, he could have left it as this can cause an infection. Instead he went further and screamed this is disgusting. Found this place on a whim, walked in in the middle of a Thursday afternoon, but wasn't able to be seen because everyone was tending to customers who had made appointments. Luckily, they were able to squeeze my daughter and me the next day. I had a slot with Tang, and my daughter (mid teens) got Doan, the owner, who gave her her first set of acrylics. I'm so glad we decided to wait to be seen, instead of looking elsewhere. Tang did a great job with me, but Doan's attention to my daughter was genuine and thorough. She and I also built a nice rapport as she was finishing up with my daughter. Walking in, the atmosphere is high-end and pleasant. Sparkly, fume-free, and clean are the first words that come to mind. Beyond that, the people here are warm, conversant, and good at their craft. And the icing on the cake?? You get a high-end experience for a mid-range price tag. Win-win. Thank you Tang and Doan! Best not so hidden gem in fort mill! My nails were done perfectly with Dip by Tong and my pedicure was so relaxing! The place is decorated very elegantly and the staff are super friendly! They don't do acrylic so there is no bad smells at all, first time I've gone to a nail salon and been able to breath fully! My only complaint is that you have to make an appointment and they fill up very fast! Booking is about 2 weeks out on average!
