I stood out as the only guy there in a sea of women, but no one seemed to care. A very nice, young lady, Lily, took me on. I was stunned at how skilled and fast she was as she clipped nails and did quite a job on cuticles, esp on the sides of my nails. A surprise. My ugly feet even looked good. I said to my wife, "I think I will have one of these monthly". And I will ask for Lily.

I literally could have done this myself. They look awful and bumpy. Also the nail tech filed them so much they are too short. They also used tools that were not taken directly out of a sterile package to trim cuticles. I would not go back to this salon. Overall it was dirty and I was frustrated that they offer builder gel and are not properly trained on how to do it.

I waited to call when the owner came in. I told her I had just spent $60. to get my nails done. That the polish was bad & I just needed to have new polish put on. She said I would need to pay an additional $15.00 to have this fixed. I was shocked at this customer service. I asked some neighbors & I have a new place to go to. Every time I come in, she perfectly touches up my roots, refreshes the color on my ends, and even gives me a beautiful blowout at no extra charge -- even when I don't ask for it. Lynda had been to the salon a few times since and her observation was all the stylists do a great job. This past weekend I summoned my nerve and phoned for an appointment and was met with "can you be here in 10 minutes?" I hustled right over. And as luck would have it my stylist was Larissa as well. I give Larissa the highest recommendation I possibly can. She asked what I wanted and throughout the cut asked about length, layers etc. She was outstanding at assuring I was satisfied. The salon was clean bright, bustling and cheerful. The prices for services were reasonable and competitive. I will only go to this salon for future cuts. But, recently I went to get dip powder with tips and left the salon utterly disappointed. The old rude lady did my nails and did a crap job. I asked her to cut my cuticles and she went so deep she kept using the drill machine near cuticles and I jumped in pain a couple times. She told me I had weak nails. Anyway, she used gel polish to do a dip powder service which I was surprised about and that what caused lumpy, hazy looking nails. She messed up and used too much glue to apply tips. There was paint on the skin which she ignored. It was a painful service and bad looking nails which I paid 60 dollars for plus tip.

Since I live in Florida I was not able to come back. Because of the they insisted on a full refund. I truly appreciated them taking the time to give me a call and making things right. Overall the nails and the eyebrows looked good. The problem was the injury I sustained during the service on my heel. I appreciated that they cared and I will give it another shot when I am in the area again! Super pretty place, they have a nice parking lot outside as well. The equipment is a mix of very pretty and new with some older stuff in the mix. Nonetheless they can get the job done. Sadly even though the nails turned out very nice there are some things below the surface that made this experience not great. The most obvious is the overall price. In itself is ok but I could not believe that they charge 16 dollars for eyebrow wax. It is a service that should be much cheaper.... I have found places that charge under 10 dollars for it so almost 20 is ridiculous and I would not have done anything here if I knew. Sadly I just assumed that this place was not price gauging wax service. Now the pedicure was a gel. The chair was nice and they serve nice soft drinks. The person who did my foot did a great job with the basic pedicure with only one huge detail. He used tha "cheese grater" thing so much that my heel is tender and has cuts that have been bothersome and not to mention leaves me open for infections and huge possible medical expenses if I had a weak immune system, or if I actually get an infection. I am a nurse and work on my foot long hours and have this pain and discomfort from the excessive use of that tool is bothersome and has affected my work. Past but not least. I hate mentioning this as I am an immigrant myself but I will cause they could have done what I did and he didn't. I heard about American manicure and I googled it. I kind of liked the photos and asked if he could do it. His English was very limited as he was Asian. That is not the problem in itself. The problem was, because he don't know what American manicure is , or didn't understand my question, he dismissed me. Didn't google it like I did to see what it was, or called someone else in the salon, which was empty I was the only one there at this point. He could have asked another staff if they knew what it was. Then he asked if I wanted ombré and I could notice in his voice the annoyance, he said ambre or French. So none American I guess. The American looks ombré but I'm not a professional on this area so I'm not sure if the two are the same z so I just sad French. He understood real quick. So ye overpaid, did not get what I wanted and got an injury. That was my experience.
