The salon is a nice size, updated fixtures, clean and well lit. There are about 6 stations, shampoo bowls and a few dryers. Denise is located in the back of the salon, in a cute private room, used for waxing and facial services. Service: I've come a few times and haven't had much of a greeting by the staff or front desk team member. I'm usually greeted with "Are you here for Denise? She'll be out shortly." (rarely does anyone tell her I'm there, I've had to inform her via text) Denise is a brow whisperer. She is the ONLY person in Charlotte who touches my brows. I'd walk around looking like Oscar the Grouch before letting anyone else touch them. She is gentle and knowledgeable and if needed will put you on a regimen for growth/shaping. She's got a great personality and is easy going. Love her! Pricing: Denise's prices are reasonable and competitive. They vary depending on service. She offers everything from waxing to microblading. Overall I can't say much for the salon, but I will shout Denise's name from the rooftops. If you're in need of some brow love, holla at Denise.

Then was upset when there were brassy, orange areas in my long hair. Wanted to have Carole, the owner, do it since I'd seen some of her highlight work that was good. Couldn't fit into her appointment schedule as she was traveling and had Cherry do it. Was dissatisfied with the color & appearance of "zebra" stripes near the scalp as it grew. I called Carol, who said she'd take a look. She said it looked like 8 week's growth, but checking it she realized it was 4 weeks old. (Normally lasts 10 weeks between coloring). I was charged full price (which should have been discounted since it only lasted 4 weeks. I was happy that Carol was doing it, figuring she'd be the best colorist experience-wise. But it wasn't...same orange spots scattered through, she left the toner on too long to cover the orange and then the hair was way too dark. She was busy re-doing another clients highlights while doing mine & must've lost track of time. She then trimmed my bangs way too short and totally slanted...and, to add insult to injury...told me i had a cowlick & that's what the bang slant was. I'm 68 & have never had a cowlick in my very straight hair in my life! I called her as soon as I got home and told her again she cut the bangs crooked. I had paid another $145 + tip for what looked like a botched do it yourself at home job. At this point I told her I wanted my money back. Her answer: no, I used product! Beware of this salon! I walked into the salon with healthy hair and left looking like I had an unintended mullet. The crown of my head was cut extremely short, uneven, and over-texturized. Multiple stylists have since looked at my hair and told me there is very little they can do to correct it because too much hair was removed. The only solution is to wait for it to grow back. What makes this experience so upsetting is that Eric claims to have decades of experience. Based on the result, I simply cannot understand how a seasoned stylist could produce a haircut like this. During the appointment, I became uncomfortable and wanted to leave. If Eric felt that I was not the right client for him, the professional thing to do would have been to end the appointment. Instead, he continued cutting my hair. The final result was so extreme that, to me, it almost feels vindictive. That is how shocking and severe the outcome was. I am now facing many months, and likely close to a year, of growing my hair back before it can be properly corrected. Women should proceed with extreme caution before trusting Eric with their hair.
