I scheduled a manicure/ pedicure over a month ago with Jenny, but when I walked in yesterday I was told by Henry that they didn't have the time to do both. I could have one service now and come back for the other. I've been going to this salon for years! What's up?? My husband had just got me a gift card, so I stayed for the manicure. Half way through, Henry said they now had time to do the pedicure also. I've used my gift card and will not return to this salon. Customer beware!! read more

This little gem I just moved across the line from NC into SC so I was looking for a place closer in to get my pedicures and brow waxes. I go to the Food Lion all the time and didn't realize this place was right next door. I went on a Monday morning, so there wasn't a crowd and I was able to get seated quickly. The technician who worked on my pedicure was very attentive and gave a nice massage, I almost fell asleep. She took her time and didn't rush. My eyebrows came out nice. Again, the tech didn't rush and didn't overwax which is always wonderful. I also like that no one tried to upsell. It was a pleasant, relaxing experience. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The pedicure chairs are beautiful. I always love the pedicure chairs with the massage feature. My toes look like jewels ETA: it's the Friday after my pedicure on Monday. Fantastic. I walked in about 1pm on a Friday for a pedicure. The salon was pretty full, but they still had someone to take care of me right away. The tech was friendly and thorough. They offered me something to drink and gave me their WiFi password when they saw I was typing on my iPad (I was writing a paper for school). Overall the store is very clean and everyone I encountered was sweet. Their prices are a little less than others in the area but there is zero sacrifice in service. read more

Well, called ahead and asked if any appointments were available for a mani/pedi. They were so I want. Basically the lady doing my nails (was wearing a small butterfly clip on the top of her hair) was watching Tv. Lied about it, then stopped watching and purposely took the longest time of her life. I normally don't care if they occasionallly turn to see the tv, but my husband called with the baby and needed me home sooner rather than later. I told her this and she said, " she can't go any faster." I paused and said, " but you're watching TV, I'm sorry but I'm in hurry, have to get back to my baby,etc." She said, " I'm not watching TV, I'm just turning my head to the side." Ummmmm she was watching TV. The news was on and we were both watching. Needless to say, she stopped "turning her head to the TV" and then proceeded to take her sweet ole time. Then I had to beg her to run my card as we waited because at first she said no, my nails had to dry. I then had to say (bc I had my card on the table already), "no please run it while I wait". Looking back I should of seen her run my card and made sure she didn't copy it down or anything. That's how untrustworthy I felt there. Then at the end she saw my one nail messed up. She wanted me to fix but she insisted that I sign the receipt first. Really, she wanted to see what I tipped first. That's what I really thought. Anyway, not going back. I gave two stars bc I feel bad. And the economy isn't great. Honestly she did a great mani/pedi. Maybe a bad day? But if you have the time for her to watch TV the whole time, then go. And mind you, she wasn't even looking down at times. She was just going through the motions and I'm surprised she didn't hurt me. read more

I've been coming here every 2-3 weeks for over a year. I have had AWFUL service at every other place I have gone to. I've never felt like the lady doing my nails actually listened to what I wanted and how I wanted my nails to look. This is the first place I fully trust my nail tech. I have exclusively had Janny for every appointment. She is amazing, and knows what she is doing. When you are sitting in front of someone for an hour, it helps if that person actually talks to you. Janny is funny, kind, and honest. She helps me pick out my color every week, and isn't afraid to tell me a color doesn't suit my skin tone (I've avoided a lot of disasters!). I am going to miss this place when I move. If you're looking for a new nail place, I highly suggest going here! Ask for Janny, Jennifer or Katie. All wonderful ladies! read more

I arrived on Wednesday evening at 5:15 pm, signed in for Mani pedii....I was directed to have a seat and selectt a color .At 6 pm , I asked if I could at least be soaking my feet while I wait.....I was then told there were 3 people in front of me , it would be another 30 min. It would have been nice if I was told when I arrived that I had over an hour wait ...they let me sit there for 45 min ....offered no water , nothing ! Be honest and up front at check-in Rude! I really enjoyed going here for a toe nail polish change. The place was busy, but still clean. Everyone working there seemed very competent. There was a large assortment of nail polishes to choose from. The decor, while not directly connected with the quality of the service, was definitely pleasing/stylish. So, that added to the relaxation and/or luxury factor of getting my nails done. I also appreciated that they were not too pushy when offering other services. That is a quality that I appreciate in a nail salon since most people go there to relax. I got a toe nail polish change because of a medical condition that causes faintness when I bend over and another medical condition that requires me not to over extended any joints (which is necessary, if I don't bend over), so it is nice to go somewhere that is nice since I am going for practical reasons. In fact, I thought the decor was nicer than some of the more expensive salons that I have been to in the Fort Mill and Ballantyne area. This will definitely be my new go-to place because I was able to have my polish change for eight dollars plus tip, when the going rate at the salon so that I get my gel manicures at were all $11-13. I can't speak to any of their other services, but I would absolutely go back to have my toenails painted. This was my first time getting my nails done by someone "professional". And the experience was disappointing. The majority of the employees were kind but my acrylics were done in a rush and the result was not $35 worth. I feel ripped off. The gel was put on making the nail look like it had no specific shape because it was clumped so much. She was kind but not focused on what she was doing. My nails looked like they were flying off my actual nails... It didn't look natural at all. My sister, who goes somewhere else, saw my nails and demanded I go back and get my money back but I figured I'd just file them down to somewhat normal, shape them, and repaint them myself... So basically I wasted $35 for someone to do a worse job than I would with the same material from Walmart. Needless to say, not going back ever. read more

I'd gone to iColor with my daughter because it was conveniently close, but the last time my daughter felt like one of the technicians was really aggressive and we wanted to try somewhere new. The prices are Upscale were lower and you could communicate with the staff; they had a good sense of humor and were welcoming rather than curt. The facilities might not be as modern or fancy, but overall I thought they were great. In addition to all that, they did eyebrows too ($8) and they did an /amazing/ job. Really pleased. Never again! I got a great pedicure, but that's it! I got a fill done by one of the guys, the chubby one. He had no personality, hurt me and when I flinched gave me a dirty look. Are you kidding me, I'll knock your dumb ass out! He filed my nails too narrow before I had a chance to stop him and 3 days later, my nails were chipping and separating from the gel. He sucked. I didn't wanna go back to fix just in case they came it worse. It seems no one in this state can do nails like Koreans in New York. read more

I have always had happy healthy nails until I had a pedicure here. She dug way too deep around the edges of it and now I've been struggling with very painful ingrown toenails ever since. I was very shocked and disappointed with the skills of the nail tech. I won't be going back. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a pedi for 2:30 Thursday 3/24/2016. When I arrived, the lady told me to pick a color and a chair. I sat there for 30 minutes before anyone came over to help me. When the lady walked over, her phone rang as she was putting on her gloves and disappeared. She came back 5 minutes later to get started...not before she sent 2 text messages. I explained to her I was on my lunch break and had to be back at work at 3:20 (it was now 3:05). She said "sorry". I didn't get sea salt scrub, or massaged and received very poor service. The lady was on and off her phone the whole 15 minutes I was being "serviced". The man (who I'm assuming was in charge) walked over to me and said I would only be paying $25 instead of $30 because of everything...which I felt I shouldn't have paid anything at all. I just moved to the area and was in search of a nail place to call my own, this place is NOT it. It is under new management and apparently just reopened because the place was not in order. Two blaring televisions and loud music made it difficult to relax. I originally wanted a manicure and pedicure ,but decided to upgrade to a gel manicure when the technician quoted me a price of $35 for both services. Pedicure was okay, foot /leg massage weak . Gel Manicure came out really nice , until it was time to cash out and I was told that the price was $44 instead of $35 . When I told the owner that I was quoted the $35, the owner argued back that the price is usually $55 but I had received a 20% discount. . She made a huge deal of it , yelling over her customer and embarrassed not only myself , but the technician included. As a customer service professional, I was appalled at the way I was treated. She should have honored the quote I was given as I based my upgrade on the price of the services. I will never go back. read more
