I have been going to this salon for seven years and have always been pleased. However, I had not been in a few months and when I went there today I found that it had changed completely. They no longer carry any OPI or other polishes that I recognized. I had to pick a color for my gel mani off of a board with small chips on it. I asked, and was told that while they still have some OPI gel colors (in the back) not displayed at all, they will do them upon request if they have yours but will not display or reorder any polishes except the ones they are now promoting. The reason for this is that they are now "keeping up with the trends". I didn't recognize any of it and the polish I chose was so far off of my usual pale shade that I had to get him to grind most of it off and put another color on top. They are all very nice there however I probably will not go back due to this change being a bridge too far. If you don't mind starting over with trial and error until you find a shade you can stand, you will probably be ok. I won't be back because of this. read more

They used to be great, but I won't be going back. I've gone there every 3-4 weeks for several years. My nails were ok with the last visit, but the prices have gone up so much that I will find another salon. I know prices have gone up on everything, but PRONAILS has a new price menu where everything is priced individually (Example: $10 extra to shorten and shape the nails!!) This has always been included in the price of a full set of nails. I really hate it because they are so close, but there are other nail salons in Fort Mill that I am going to visit. read more

Nail tech did great gob on my nails. I got powder full set and Classic pedicure. However, I typically pay $85 for both. Nothing different this time, no gel polish on pedicure, they used regular polish. But I was charged $100. I looked on the wall, which stated my nails were $50 and my pedicure was $35. why was I charged $100? That's my only issue, they charge what they want. And when I walked in, wasn't asked for a beverage, however someone walked in behind me and they were asked. And FYI, I still left a tip. I am a little disappointed in the service. And it would me nice to have a justification of my I'm charged $15 more than usual. read more

I've been to this salon once before my recent acrylic set. I had a great experience and my nails turned out amazing, the techs were sparking conversation and were interested in how specific I wanted my set. I was very excited to go back, however, this time I got placed with a tech that answered his phone multiple times during my appointment, did not speak to me once, didn't listen on what I wanted after showing a picture several times, and had to redo the gel manicure because of this. I was in the salon for almost 3 hours and I got an acrylic french set. It took so long I didn't get a second coat of my french and ended up looking patchy, one of my nails is already lifting after having my appointment only a few days ago which has never happened in the history of getting acrylics at any salon. I appreciated him retrying, but I seriously should have left with what was just on my nails at that point. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received this time around because of my first time experience that was stellar and had my nails beautiful for almost a month. I don't think I'll be returning to this salon even though it was my #1 choice and I enjoyed my first visit thoroughly. read more

So sad to have to give this rating, as I had been very happy with my last two visits. Yesterday, my husband and I came in for mani/ pedis. I had dip powder from my previous visit, so my fingers were encased in acetone-soaked cotton-foil wrapping for whole one hour that the young man took with the pedicure. After that he proceeded to give me the worst manicure I have ever have (and I am no spring chicken!), no two nails are the same length, or shape, he hacked them. Today, I decided to come in and let them see how poorly he had done, and how some of the polish was already chipped. All I got were excuses. There is no excuse for incompetence, nor the lack of respect to a customer to subject them to the care of poorly trained people. If you decide to visit this salon and get assigned a young man with glasses, run!! read more

I was a walk-in earlier this afternoon for a manicure and they put me in a chair right away. I don't usually get things like this done--I've maybe had my nails done at a salon twice ever--but was really surprised at how much time and care was taken compared to the other places I've been. Whoever did mine was one of the owners and I thought he did such a professional job. And it was so relaxing! If I ever treat myself like this again, it'll be at the same place. It was also not unreasonably priced. I paid $35 which I wouldn't do all the time but he did so many different maintenances. Honestly s/o to this place. I feel great! Thank you! read more

I came into this salon without an appointment on a Friday afternoon. Although, they were very busy you can see how every nail technician was trying their best to accommodate everyone while still doing a good job on the clients they were attending. The gentleman that attended me took his time to give me a amazing foot rub, which was appreciated by a very pregnant lady (hehe). Also, they were diligent during the cuticle cutting and painting which are important to me when doing my nails. The price was not ridiculous but the standard compared to most nail salons. I arrived at my appointment at 545. Being a first time client here I didn't know what to expect. I was never greeted I had to walk up to one of the staff to make sure I still had an a appointment. I waited for almost 15 minutes before they even began running the water for the pedicure. They asked me to sit in one of the chairs and I sat there for 20 more minutes with no explanation of why it was taking so long to get me started. I had pulled two polishes from the wall and both smelled like pure acetone and because I was sitting there helpless with my feet in the water I was unable to look for something else. It wasn't until I tried to get up out of the chair someone asked if I needed help. They finally started my service at 625. The nail technician did not seem to be very organized and I don't feel the tools had been properly sanitized. I was getting more upset by the minute. The technician did not know what see was doing. I told her to stop what she was doing and I was leaving. So the manager walked over to ask what was wrong and I explained that I was extremely unhappy with my whole experience at her salon. All she could give me was excuses for why I had been treated so badly. She insulted me by trying to only take 5 dollars off my service. I told her that was not fair after what I had been through, She settled with 30 dollars and I paid them and I should not have. That was a huge mistake. read more

Been to this place a couple times. It's always an enjoyable experience. Everybody is very nice and very welcoming. I just went in for a pedicure and this one is less than perfect. The process itself was great. Massage could have been a bit longer and the actual paint job on a couple of my toes is less than stellar. This place looks like a run of the mill mall nail salon but is so much better. I've tried aveda salons in south park and downtown charlotte, and this place has the best manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax in town. And the prices! $8 for an eyebrow wax where they really take the time & get all of the little stray hairs. Spa pedicure is great- lots of massage. Best to pay in cash since the credit card co just raised her transaction fee - this way you get more bang for your buck. read more

I will not be returning to this salon. I get gel manicures on a regular basis so I know what kind of quality to expect. I had a pink-ish color on. She had to remove it. She did not do a good job removing it. I was getting a french manicure and she left pieces of the pink on my nails and painted over it. The pink showed through. Before she even started painting I pointed this out to her and she just said "it is on your skin I can't get it off". This is bogus...it was on my nails all over. If you have ever had a gel manicure before, its like concrete, you can't get it off. So I was stuck with pink showing through my manicure. She got the gel on my fingers at the tip of each nail. I had to go home with tweezers and dig it out because the tips of my nails were sealed to my fingers. I paid 35 dollars and a 5 dollar tip.( yes i tipped anyways even though i was mad).
