She did a great job on my short brows, but hey, short brows need love too. Since I live in Florida I was not able to come back. Because of the they insisted on a full refund. I truly appreciated them taking the time to give me a call and making things right. Overall the nails and the eyebrows looked good. The problem was the injury I sustained during the service on my heel. I appreciated that they cared and I will give it another shot when I am in the area again! Super pretty place, they have a nice parking lot outside as well. The equipment is a mix of very pretty and new with some older stuff in the mix. Nonetheless they can get the job done. Sadly even though the nails turned out very nice there are some things below the surface that made this experience not great. The most obvious is the overall price. In itself is ok but I could not believe that they charge 16 dollars for eyebrow wax. It is a service that should be much cheaper.... I have found places that charge under 10 dollars for it so almost 20 is ridiculous and I would not have done anything here if I knew. Sadly I just assumed that this place was not price gauging wax service. Now the pedicure was a gel. The chair was nice and they serve nice soft drinks. The person who did my foot did a great job with the basic pedicure with only one huge detail. He used tha "cheese grater" thing so much that my heel is tender and has cuts that have been bothersome and not to mention leaves me open for infections and huge possible medical expenses if I had a weak immune system, or if I actually get an infection. I am a nurse and work on my foot long hours and have this pain and discomfort from the excessive use of that tool is bothersome and has affected my work. Past but not least. The American looks ombré but I'm not a professional on this area so I'm not sure if the two are the same z so I just sad French. He understood real quick. I agreed and she walked me to sit down and handed me a book to pick a color. She started doing my nails and she seemed very rushed, tired and overwhelmed which was odd since they were not busy. As she was doing my nails, she cut my left finger, she was sloppy filling in the acrylic and she was kind of shoving my hand into the lamps and not really explaining anything to me. She never asked what shape I wanted and the nails ended up looking bad. They look like press ons and I have NEVER left a bad review of a nail salon before. This was my first time coming and I will not be back. At the end when I checked out, she never told me the total and just waited for me to hand her my card. Then she asked if I wanted a receipt. However, the experience changed once I arrived. The building is shared by multiple businesses with very thin walls, so you can hear everything going on. The previous client was sounding upset through the wall, repeatedly asking how many times she would need to return, and the practitioner suggested it might be due to her medication affecting results. This back-and-forth went on for quite a while and extended past my scheduled appointment time (which was only 30 minutes). After the client left, I was called in--I had been waiting right outside. As soon as I entered, I was immediately hit with a strong smoke smell (reefer-like), which was off-putting. The treatment room had paper placed down the middle of the table, but given how rushed the transition was from the previous client to me, I wasn't confident that proper cleaning or sanitizing had taken place, especially on the sides or any tools involved. Between the overwhelming smell and concerns about cleanliness, I felt uncomfortable and uneasy with the situation.
