Really good experience here. Beautiful gel manicure...perfect going on two weeks now. Fabulous pedicure as well. All the little touches. Friendly staff, first class pedicure chairs, lavendar relaxation aromatherapy wraps, free bottomless girlie drinks, and a beautiful space location. We went to get our pedicures done for my sisters wedding. There were 4 of us so we made reservations. We just waited a couple of minutes and then were ushered to our chairs. Everything was comfortable and super clean. Even the bathrooms were nice. They use the all in one foldable pedicure flip flop which was cute. We had a great time, had good service and all of my nails are wearing beautifully two weeks later. I will definitely go back if I am in the area and in need of nail work. read more

I went online and made an appt for 2:30. I was there a few minutes early, chose my polish and waited. At 3:00 I asked the receptionist what was going on. She said they didn't have anyone available. I said but I had an appt... she said yeah well we kinda just go off who comes in first. Someone please explain why they take appts if they aren't going to pay attention to them and honor them. First few times I came was great. The last three times they put me with people who were seemingly new. Came today for my birthday nails, had photos on my phone of exactly what I wanted and in what order. He said he could do it all. Did not get what I wanted and nails look extremely sloppy. Not the worst but not the best either. I had appointment at 10am with Jimmy but a lady did my nails. She didn't do a bad job but she definitely didn't try her best. Some of my nails aren't filed evenly and my nails needed another coat of polish. She was also kind of rough with me and I didn't like that. Now the lady who did my pedicure did a terrible job. I had blue polish all over my toes and she didn't even bother to file my toenails. Due to the fact that it was the day before Easter it was kinda busy, and I understand that they wanted to get people in and out, but don't do a barely decent job and expect people to be okay with their nails. The prices were outrageous and my polish started chipping the very next day after I got them done.

I was in from out of town for a funeral. I had an emergency because I fell and broke four fingernails. The young man that answered the phone was happy to help me and made me an appointment right away. He has a Beautiful Salon and he was very kind. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone local or out of town. He appreciated my business, and I appreciated him helping me in a predicament. I had two fill-in's scheduled and a pedicure for a Saturday afternoon. When we walked in, we were greeted and asked to take a seat. Within 10 minutes we were taken to a seat to start on our nails. My daughter and I both wanted ombré nail designs. We had not had this done before because to be honest, the nail salon we went to before I don't think could do this. After reading the reviews for Elan and seeing the photos, I thought they may be able to do what we want. The technicians said they could. Both technicians worked fast and in the end, we both had beautiful ombré nails, just as be requested. I was then taken to a chair for a pedicure with no wait. My sister and I came here to get our nails done. Vincent and Alex did our manicures and my nails haven't looked this good in a long time!!! They offered mimosas and the aesthetic is clean and modern. Truly a wonderful spa experience. They started the manicure with a collagen lotion gloves on the hands and followed by my first dip powder nail experience. I have been to this nail salon a few times. I think they do fantastic nails. I scheduled an appointment a few weeks ago for today as I have a wedding this weekend, and I'm leaving tomorrow . I left work a little early, got to the nail salon a little early too. When I came in, I told them I had an appointment, the lady looked at me funny and asked me to have a seat until my appointment time. I waited about 10 minutes, which was fine, I just like to be early. At my appointment time 3 employees came up to me stating that they were understaffed and couldn't see me. I completely understand being understaffed, but why have me wait 10 minutes? It was completely disheartening. I rarely get my nails done, so I was excited for today. If you want to get your nails done, this is the place to go! When you walk in, it feels like you stepped into a luxury experience. The shop is beautiful and clean, and the nail technicians were fantastic. Alex did my nails and I could not be any happier. While I was waiting, they provided a booklet with samples of colors they offer. They have a wide variety to choose from, which I really appreciated. When I got my nails done, I loved the gloves they use to moisturize your hands! Alex was efficient and attentive to detail, and the service was great all-around. This is probably the worst customer service I ever experienced at a nail salon. Be aware that appointments arent on time expect to wait almost 30min to hour. Secondly, there are nail techs in there that DO NOT KNOW HOW TO POLISH!!! i got simple gel polish and looks like a 3 year old polished my nails with all these bubbles. They are all rushing bc they are unorganized. And to put the icing on the cake I was accused of leaving without paying. This right here, is why i will never return or recommend them to ANYONE. I paid for my nails right after i was done and went back to seat with a friend. As she finished up and paid I started walking out instead of cashier just simple asking me did I pay already... she screamed to the back ASSuming I was leaving without paying embarrassing me for no damn reason. This is the best nail place in Rock Hill! I've been getting acrylics on and off for about 5 years, but today was the best I've ever had them done. My nail tech was very kind and gentle which I appreciate since sometimes they can be rough and aggressive. I could be wrong but I believe she said her name was Sandy. The shape and length of my acrylics were amazing and I felt like she really took the time to make them perfect. I also got a pedicure which was great as well. My nails look awesome and I am very pleased!! I will definitely come back here next time. read more

At first glance, this place was very nice and clean! I was welcomed; most of the staff was amazing. I had Ella or Elsa I'm not sure what her name was, for a soak and a manicure. I went with my friend and they got started on her before me. I sat there ready for about 20 min waiting for a soak off. The nail lady was so aggressive with my hands and kept glancing over at my friend. When picking out the shape she literally put the tip in front of me and just stood there. She was obviously irritated, I'm not sure why. I pointed out that the acrylic was really watery and she gave me more of an attitude. She would constantly sigh loudly when I my phone would turn off when the design was on it. My nails are thin and look weird. I would give this place another chance; but not her; she's lucky she got a patient customer, other customers would not take her attitude so lightly. read more

I recently went to Elan to get my nails done and they were horrible . They were polite and nice but the girl who fixed my nails was not good. I put a goggle review up with pictures and how I was dissatisfied with my nails. Per the Manger or owner said come back get you nails fixed for free. So it was almost 2 year i came back to get them fixed due to my work and personal schedule. My appointment was at 1:15pm I didn't receive service until 1:40pm . So long story short my nails were fixed and my treatment was different I was never asked if I wanted something to drink nothing. Then went to leave a tip for Mia who did a good job I was told I can get 20% my service. But you told me I could get them fixed for free there was never set a time limit on when I come in. Plus Mia said next time you have a problem with you nails you should see the boss you don't have to write a review. I didn't say anything I just kept that in mind. I'm a loyal person who leaves good tips and im a generous person so for me I will never go back. My experience as okay. Not great but not bad. I usually go to Blush but they were completely booked. I scheduled my appointment online with Vincent (I had read other reviews that said he was really good) and I wanted the manicure with the 10 mins massage. When I get there I was seated right away with a woman who didn't seem like she wanted to help me when she saw my nails. Over 20 years ago I had surgery in 3 nails. The result damaged my nail beds. I immediately told her what happened and said that I only wanted the manicure and gel polish on my natural nails. She gets up goes to another seat-she was an acrylic expert. Then another girl sits down with me. I had to tell her about my nails, she then gets a man to come over and try to convince me to get acrylic. I told them again I didn't want that, that it was a waste of money bc it doesn't stay. She begins polishing but the entire time I felt like she was talking about my nails bc several other workers came and looked at my nails. Then another guy tries to convince me again to get acrylic on those 3. By this time I was aggravated Bc she had clipped my skin, made me bleed and again I felt like she was talking about me. I told them just to polish them with gel so I could leave. So I got finished, with no neck massage, and paid. I most likely won't be back. read more

I never treat myself to getting my nails done. I don't live in the area but was there picking my car up from a local dealership. Since my birthday is next week I decided to do something for myself and stopped here. I was greeted by Vincent who is the owner. He was very nice and accommodating. After waiting a short while I was paired with this guy nail tech named Pete. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and told him that I wanted my colors to look like the photo. He applied dip powder to three of my nails....keep in mind that this is new to me.... And after the three he asked me if I liked. I told him they were too light. It was suppose to be a light pink but looked almost white... nothing like photo. I never get this done so I was assuming they would get darker with each dip but it didn't. So after 3 nails being dipped I told him it wasn't right. He threw his tool down and was mad and said why did I wait and tell him after 3 nails. He then started roughly grinding the dip powder off of my nails, then got up and slammed the color samples down and told me to pick the right colors. I was so embarrassed and hurt. A lady that overheard was shaking her head in disbelief also. He then looked me in the eye and told me he knew me and that I've been there before and did this too him. I told him I've never been in there. I was in disbelief and shocked. I had to leave because I wasn't about to let this man work on my hands and then pay him. I was so upset. I called Vincent when I left and told him what happened. Vincent called me back after I got home and was apologizing for Pete. He said Pete was his best friend and is really a nice person. There is no excuse for the way he treated me. Vincent said Pete wanted to apologize but I didn't want to talk to him. Vincent offered for me to come back and he would do my nails for free but I honestly don't want to go back in there because of Pete. The owner is so nice but if I treated my patients in health care that way I would be fired. read more

Very disappointed. Went there for a pedi with someone else and they started on her and I sat there for about 15 min, I understand, that's OK if nobody was there available to get me started but they didn't even fill the foot tub with water while I was waiting so I literally just sat there. In addition the chair was broken and the lady doing my friends nails told me to push the button, which clearly I had pressed them all and it wasn't moving and she saw me pressing it and selecting a mode and talking to my friend about how it wasn't working - no response. The reason I was most upset is because my big toenail was broken pretty far down on the side and before she even filled the tub of water I asked the lady to put acrylic or gel on top of the broken nail so it didn't get broken and be super short compared to the other one. I actually asked for acrylic on both big toes so they looked even. I wasn't paying much attention, trying to enjoy my pedi since the chair was broken and when it was time to paint my nails she just started painting and I said wait wait I asked for acrylic on my big toes, that's when I looked down and SHE HAD CUT/TORN/RIPPED OFF MY BIG TOENAIL HALFWAY DOWN STRAIGHT ACROSS WHERE IT WAS JUST BARELY BROKEN ON THE SIDE and then she claimed it was going to look fine when it was super short compared to my other one, I WAS LIVID. Then after further explaining that I didn't want my other nail to be super short to match the broken one she sent me to get acrylic by another nail technician there. He added acrylic to both, exactly how I wanted, then she did the sloppiest nail painting job I've ever had from a salon. Nearly all my cuticles had paint on them. My mom said she went there once and the lady didn't wipe off the oil or lotion before painting her nails and that the polish all came off the next day. I really hate writing negative reviews but I really don't feel like they care about the final product. I don't feel like they care about the job they do. Good tail techs make sure they do a good job, not just throw nail polish on and not care. I would not go back here. read more
