Very slow service and increased the amount from initial ask and quote. Sorry but language barrier isn't an excuse for scamming up sells. Also weren't gentle and caused actual pain dUring both mani and pedi. There are plenty of other salons that don't rip off the customer. read more

Fiji Nail Spa is very convenient, the prices are great, and I love the staff. Mimi the manager is very accommodating and Tom gives the absolute best pedicures. Everyone else is great too. It is better to make an appointment, especially around the weekend, but often I just pop in and take my chances. They are very honest about telling you if they are backed up and may politely ask if you can return in 20-30 minutes. I appreciate that! read more

I can't say a whole lot stood out about this particular nail salon. They were pretty standard and didn't do much to set themselves apart. The one thing I appreciated is that they didn't talk crap about me right in my face by using another language. So, thanks for that ladies. The color selection was a little weak but they had some decent options. No OPI? Surprising. I sprung for the "deluxe" mani/pedi. My technician just ran through the steps so it was somewhat of a waste. Yes, I got the scrub, the wax, the hot stones but she was so disenchanted that it didn't even feel relaxing. She seemed more interested in running through the process. Now, can I blame her for not "enjoying" my sasquash feet? No. I can't. But, could she at least give me what I paid for? Yes. She could. The manicure was just as subpar. They just didn't really "dig" into their work. Make sense? I still have cuticles that are all uneven, random strands of skin sticking out of my nails, they didn't file or buffer my nails, etc. Geez, now that I am thinking about it, should I give them 2 stars? I think I just got the two sloppy technicians because other people seemed to be getting the royal treatment. I wouldn't go out of my way to return but they are a decent option if in the area I suppose. read more

There was no evidence that they take any efforts to clean their instruments between clients. One woman's cleaning of the pedicure tub was cursory at best. My toenails were filed unevenly and quite crooked. And although I repeatedly asked them not to cut my cuticles back, she did anyway. So badly that she caused me to bleed quite a bit. It took several minutes to get the bleeding to stop. I will not be going back ever. read more

It was nice inside and I really enjoyed the massage chair. They gave a little bit of a foot massage with a pedicure which was very nice. The gel Mani was not done well and I had to go back and get it redone. They were not happy when I came back to get it redone, but they did it and it looked better the second time but not perfect. i came here unexpected because i needed my nail done fast. they were able to sit with no wait. While waiting for the guy to do my nail i couldn't help but not to notice how angry a customer was saying her pedicure look like she did and demand for them to redo it. After there redid it she still felt it didn't look professional. The guy that did my nail was a little rough. my nail came out ok but i feel that he could have buff them so more. they seem a but sharp and cut my skin. Also i was extremely disappointed how they charge 2 to 3 dollar more if you use a credit card. most customer use card over cash . I felt that i was being punish for not carrying cash. Prior i did wanted a polish change or my toes but that would mean i would have paid $5 extra with is a bit much. i will not return. read more

Not honest about the services they do/don't provide. I specifically asked if they did the Signature Nail System (SNS). I asked several questions to ensure we were talking about the same service making it perfectly clear what I wanted and why I prefer SNS for myself. She answered yes to every question and repeated several times "yes we do SNS". The steps were correct initially with the application of the clear SNS powder. But she then proceeded to apply clear gel polish and placed my hands under the UV light (???). She then applied my selected color with regular nail polish followed by a clear top coat instead of the powdered nail color used in SNS. (???) I explained that she hadn't done what I'd asked and regular nail polish on top of all the other stuff would still only last a few days. Not to mention the polish was sloppy and she made no attempt to clean the residue from the SNS from around my nails on every finger. She insisted it would last "2-3 weeks". As expected, $37 and 3 days later the polish was chipped on every nail!!! What a waste of time and money!!!!! If you can't provide the specific service your customer requests let them know upfront. And if you're too GREEDY to let them walk out the door, the least you can do is explain the terrible "alternative" you provide in lieu of the quality service they expect to receive so they have the option whether or not they would like to move forward. Don't take it upon yourself to do what you please and charge me more than my usual salon for service that won't make it through a weekend! I should have made a huge fuss and not paid but that's not in my character, hopefully this will serve as a warning to others!! read more
