I have been going to this salon for several years now. Since Hop and Tu (husband and wife) bought it, they have been really upgrading it so it's very nice now. I have been getting SNS (powder) for a long time and am very pleased with the results. The staff is always friendly, the salon is very clean and the quality is great. Ok - I'm a guy. And, no, I didn't get anything painted, or dusted, or colored...whatever. But my wife did get a Deluxe Mani/Pedi and I got just the Pedi. I have actually been to a lot of these places for pedis. Love me some foot/calf rubs/massages, etc. So I have decent experience with this and can safely say that this place was EXCELLENT. The staff fit us in right at closing - despite the 'Rona. They were courteous, professional and VERY good at what they did. Plus they were funny and just nice to talk to. It may not sound so difficult, but customer service is very important to me when the substance is not all that distinguishable. And the owners/staff of R-Nails get it. Support this place and enjoy! I wanted to cry when I got back to my car and looked in my rear view mirror. My brows looked bad. And I mean bad. Long overdue for a waxing, I decided to venture to a spot I used to frequent years ago before moving. My "regular" person from the past wasn't there so I trusted this new-to-me young lady. First bad sign: no paper was placed where I was to lay my head. So...I grabbed paper towels and put them on top of the pillow. But I felt a little better as the lady explained what she was going to do to my brows. I thought she was about to make me look fabulous. She did her work and honestly, my quick glance in her foggy mirror upon completion looked decent, thicker than I like, but decent. Then, a closer look in the car in natural light showed one brow was markedly thicker than the other, my brows were not "smooth" and they were raggedy. I was so disappointed. I was tight on time. Otherwise I would have gone back in. But I wouldn't trust anyone in there to even touch them up. So disappointed. Hubby is right...stick with who you know. I will not be going back to this location for services. Now is the waiting game to grow my brows a bit to have them repaired by my "regular" person. Sigh.... read more

Tu, her husband and friends run the shop. They are some of the best people I have ever met. They are hard workers, do an amazing job and always are genuinely kind. I live in uptown Charlotte and I drive the 30 minutes or more to Stallings because no where in the Charlotte area has this kind of awesome service for this price. I pay around $35 for SNS and it lasts me for around 4 weeks or longer (I get it done quicker just because my nails grow fast). My mother and I have been going here for a little over 4 years now (regularly) and have never once been disappointed. It helps to call and make an appointment before hand because they are usually very busy. Everyone knows each other in the shop and I always feel more than welcomed. Definitely the best shop, service and people in the Charlotte area. read more

Highly recommend this nail salon for anyone in the area. Family run and very friendly staff. Never been disappointed with service or job done. I had some gel chip off and asked for them to fix. He not only fixed that, but replaced my acrylic because he noticed water damage under the nail. I will never go back!! I had an appointment at 4:30, around 4:40 the wrapped my nails, then didn't come back to start me until 5:18!! That is unacceptable. Then the girl who did my nails did not know what she was doing, there all in even, she left my some of my color from my previous nail color underneath the nude. All of the nails at the bottom by my cuticle are lifting because they were rushed and not done right. I will never go again and i want my money back because now i have to go somewhere else to pay AGAIN to have them done right!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! read more

I love this place ! Heard of it from a coworker because I was complaining that I could not find a good nail tech for SNS and that they always ended up breaking within a 2 wks period. She recommended me to go see her nail tech, named TU at RNAIL. Let me tell you, she is FANTASTIC ! I drive an 1hr round trip every month to get my nails done by her. She is worth the drive. She has a perfect technique and she has helped me build stronger nail beds. I can now let my nail grow strong. They are not breaking and always look awesome ! Normally come here and get a deluxe pedicure for $35. Came in today with my friend and boyfriend and the girl basically rushed through my pedicure which they usually don't. Love them, highly recommend although it's not the coolest nail bar on the strip they do a beautiful job and it's completely full service.

What a great find!! Mimi (which is the youngest girl) is fantastic!! She really gives you a good strong leg and foot massage. The chairs could be up graded to ones that do your butt too but they are still good. The Deluxe Pedicure is totally worth it.... A solid 1.5 hour long pedi is just what a body needs! read more

I've been searching for a nail salon close to home that was clean with full service and the ladies at Rnails did a great job. I loved the added hot stone treatment on the feet and the leg massage that was included in the regular pedicure. I found it to be very clean. They line the foot baths with fitted bags that are replaced each time and all utensils are wrapped in plastic. I have found my new favorite nail salon. read more

I really would like to love this salon. They have a huge selection of SNS colors. However, the whole salon has an unclean feeling. Their customer service is lacking. My nails have been crooked and are never cut to the length I request. They are very condescending when you bring up a concern like this. A technician stopped working on my mom to take another customer in order to keep her from leaving. Would have been a reason to walk out but hard to make that call with half finished nails! read more

I have been coming here for 10 years and I will never return. Mimi has moved to Texas. The "newcomers" made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was the only African American in the shop, which has never been an issue with Mike and Mimi. They had a dog in the shop that did not like my son ( even though my son was sitting in a chair quietly watching a video on his tablet) the dog growled and barked at my son. The dog charged at my son and I jumped up to protect him. The other customers at the salon were shocked and asked their tech why the dog was behaving that way. I asked the tech to put the dog away, but she completely ignored me. My son is five and I am very protective of him. The tech did not remove the dog until I picked my son up and advised her that if the dog tries to bite my son I would not hesitate to hurt the dog. The nail tech had a very bad attitude. I let her finish what she was doing but I cancelled the other services I had scheduled for that day and left. They do a good job on nails, but the customer service is horrible. read more
