Spent 2.5 hours in here for my nails to look bent and uneven like this. They were doing my nails with no sense of urgency, he kept leaving to do other things during this. Took him 10 min to put the tips on. The dip color was all uneven at the end so she had to use gel on top of the tip making them even thicker when I asked for not thick. Just all around ridiculous. Paid $60 for this crappy job. I used to like coming here but will not be back. read more

I've come here a few times for pedicures and recently for a mani/pedi. The service was fine, though I'm not exactly sure of what to expect. The lady took time to make sure my nails and follicles looked good before moving on to a clear gloss coat on top. Overall good service, reasonable prices, and a relaxing environment. Chairs are very comfy. However, for a more complex service, I might look elsewhere. I'm one to enjoy conversation but the staff do not talk much, which is fine. read more

Never again will i go here. I came here with a friend while she got a pedicure i decided since i already had a pedicure i would get a manicure. Well the manicure felt very rushed, no massage time at all, nor did she soak my nails or anything, not to mention my nail polished peeled off the very same day. The guy in the front who appeared to manage the place, he wasn't very inviting or friendly. Came in to have my lip and chin waxed, they sat me in the middle of the salon in between two people getting pedicures. She brought out the wax 10 minutes later, and put wax all the way up my cheek basically to my sideburns and ripped it off and then put her entire hand on my face? I am super disappointed in this salon and I definitely won't be coming back. I came in on Saturday for a Pedicure. I actually upgraded to the Pamper Pedicure. The gentleman that was doing my pedicure was not attentive at all. He would work on my nails and then get up and walk around for 10-15 minutes and then start again. He also applied the scrub and the mud scrub to my dry legs. Not to mention the guy started painting my toes and then completely disappeared. 15 minutes later, the manager stepped in to finish and I never even received a massage and then I was charged $50. Absolutely unacceptable service and not worth it since there are so many decent salons in the area. read more

The service was not good at all. They were rude to me and condescending. They also left my friend and I waiting for over 30 minutes to service people who came in after us. I came in wanting a full set of acrylics with SNS. They would not let me get the length I came in wanting or get SNS. My nails are all different sizes as well and the shape on each nail does not match. They proceeded to upcharge me for the length even though they cut down my nails much more than I had wanted. I have never been charged this much for a set before nor have I been talked down to so much. I do not recommend spending your time or money here. read more

This was my first visit as I recently moved to the area. I had a great experience. I only waited 5 minutes to be seated and immediately was offered something to drink. My nail artist was able to find the exact color I asked to have. She was very careful during the process of timing my cuticles and added an extra layer of color when I asked. The hand massage lasted longer than most other nail salons I have visited. The price is very reasonable compared to other locations in the area. I usually do my own nails, but when I'm looking to treat myself, I head over to Millennium Nails. I went on a Friday at an off time (around 2pm). It wasn't super crowded, so the nail techs were able to do my gel mani and regular pedi at the same time. This was great because I was in/out of there in less than 45 minutes. Other reasons I like this place: -The pedi chairs are ooohhhhh so comfortable. -They do a FANTASTIC job on your nails. -My gel mani has stayed on for over two weeks and isn't peeling off. -It's right by Starbucks so I can get coffee beforehand. -There are a million gel colors to choose from. -ohhh so good massages. My main complaint is that you walk in and it's a little confusing with the whole sign-in process. Once you have the system down pat, you can enjoy your nail experience. read more

I got dragged here on Saturday after grabbing a bite and coffee at the adjacent Bruegger's/Caribou Coffee, and while I'll never be getting a mani/pedi, I could appreciate how this place was run. Just super efficient: lots of chairs or stations or whatever, lots of employees, and very little waiting time: everyone was being tended to. I got a big Sex and the City vibe: lots of late twenties or thirty-something women reading magazines or gossiping while their feet were scrubbed and lotioned up. After jumping around to various nail salons for my monthly SNS, I stumbled upon Millenium right near our house! They do a great job and are the only shop in town that consistently has me in and out from SNS soak off to finish in ~1 hour. Massage is great, clean facility and they always have HGTV on (with subtitles!) They honor appointments, let you tip on card and have a huge color selection as well! Don't pass on this hidden gem in the sea of mediocre CLT nail salons. read more

I went here yesterday with my diva sister because she's raved about this place before; however, I was not very satisfied. It would have been a much better experience had the techs actually talked to us like we were people instead of gossiping with themselves in their native language and looking at us like we were beneath them. Not to mention my tech got a little instrument happy (similar to the dental hygienist and her scrapey thing) and ended up cutting my finger. That's when I really got ticked off. Love these guys. I rarely get pedicures, but when I feel like I need a little pampering, I head to Millennium. They give the best leg massages! And you can pay for extra massaging....totally worth it. They are also open on Sundays, which is are to find. I just had the best experience getting my nails done at Millennium Nails. My friend recommended it, and it completely lived up to the hype. There was no wait, the prices were fair and the staff was very nice. The place was clean, they offered a wide range of complimentary drinks, and they had a wide range of gel colors to pick from. They had me sit in the massage chair the entire time with one woman doing my pedicure and another standing to do my gel nails. The absolute BEST part of the whole thing was the AMAZING massages - on my legs for the pedicure, but also my arms, shoulders and neck for my manicure. I can't say enough about it!! I'll be honest, I heard fantastic things about this place but I was really disappointed. I went in for a full set with gel polish. The tech had issues finding the right shape, I asked for an almond shape and got a round one but in filing them, they too short to fix. The actual acrylic is uneven and lumpy and the gel polish is spotty and has bumps in it. She cut my cuticles pretty badly and the skin on my fingers are peeling. It's true what they say, you get what you pay for. I doubt I'll ever return. read more

It is with great sadness that after 10yr going to this salon I must now say that I'm really disappointed. I have a horrible bacteria on my foot! The tools were not clean!! I called to tell them and I was brushed off like it's not possible it could've come from them. My manicure and pedicure were both done in a rush because they were busy that day. My manicure was chipping less than a day later. My toe were the cuticle was cut began to swell and puss. I was out of town and could not return to show them. I called to ask for my money back and told them I would send some pictures and bring the diagnosis from a doctor. I was told "NO". I've referred a lot of people to them. I go when I need a quick mani/pedi because if they have a good amount of technicians (which is almost always) they'll assign two people and do both services at once which is great if you're in a time crunch. The place is clean, and the women who work there are also kind . I know a lot of women who go here as the service is consistent and the prices are fair/average.I have been there easily 100+ times (over 10 years) - so the negative responses surprise me. This is my third time attempting service at Millenium Nails and each time I was slighted. I am a black woman and have consistently noticed a difference in service between me and my white friends. The first time, no one welcomed me when I walked in the door, but welcomed every person who came after me. Once I was serviced, my nails looked good, so I went back a few months later. The second time, the person stopped doing my nails in order to take a white customer. When I asked the manager, he told me that the other customer required less time and tried to rectify it by finishing my nails himself. Today was my third and last time. I was the third person to arrive at 9:20 and one person arrived after me. They took all three of the white women immediately and left me waiting. 15 minutes into my wait, I asked how much longer and was told 10 more minutes. At 9:45, I gathered my things and left. No one asked me to stay, no one apologized, no one asked me to come back at another time. It was clear they did not want my service. I would not recommend this place to any woman of color. read more
