Conveniently located in the Harris teeter shopping center so lots of parking! I arrived around 5 on a Monday. I walked right in and was sat and seen right away. I agree with the below comment. The ambiance was a bit off. It was very quiet in there. Soft instrumental music played but was still very quiet. There were 3 TV's playing different programs that I couldn't even tell what 2 of them were. The third was playing VEVO rock music videos and you could faintly hear the music in the background. They didn't explain the services or have the prices posted but the price ended up being $35 for a pedicure. My nail technician was very thorough and did a great job. She spent a decent amount of time on the leg massage which was really nice. The massage chair was comfy too. I got a pedicure and my toes turned out great!! read more

I had an 11:30am appointment. I got here at 11:28am, signed in and my appointment was on the iPad. There was no one there to do my nails, and they hadn't even written down my appointment!! Even after showing my text confirmation and confirming I had the correct address, I was still unable to be seen. The only lady that was there was a very nice Hispanic woman who did pedicures. It would be nice to actually check your online appointments and write them down. If you aren't going to utilize the online appointment system then DONT USE IT!! Never attempting to go here again. If I could give 0 stars I would, since I didn't get service. read more

I went in to this nail salon last Thursday and got SNS nails. I have gotten SNS multiple times before and they typically last me 2-3 weeks. It is Sunday of the same week and I already have a nail that chipped and is about to fall off. I called to ask for prices for a pedicure and was told the basic pedicure was $25 ($35 and $40 upgrades) I arrived for my appointment and asked for a basic pedicure and was charged $35. Three strikes and Elegant nails is out. They don't follow the steps for gel nails and the gel doesn't bond to the nail. Twice I've had the manicure peel off with in a couple days. This time they were popping and peeling in my car on the way home. read more

I had a great experience here today. Everyone was very friendly and I was in and out in 45 minutes. Sue did my SNS manicure and I was extremely pleased with how it turned out compared to the last manicure I received elsewhere. I will never go back to this place. Was told my pedi (basic) would cost $35 and then they charged $5 more for OPI polish. What a ripoff. Didn't even get a foot massage. Water was cold. They were not busy at all so my guess is they will probably go out of business soon and move to another location to to spread their crap somewhere else. read more

I have been a customer for years. Rose is the best pedicure technician in town. She takes her time and her pumpkin massage is amazing. Ask for a glass of white wine and sit back and relax. If you also want a manicure, my personal recommendation is to ask to wait until the pedicure treatment is complete. Much more relaxing. read more

Going to elegant nails is always a treat. My nails always look beautiful regardless of who I see. The owner has hired the most friendly and experienced ladies. Today June 3, 2018 just to let everyone know this is a current review. I walked into this location to be disappointed, when I walk in customers and the employees all stop talking while one employees yells across the room asking what did i need today? I told her a mani and a pedi before I sit down one of the nail ladies comes to the counter and I ask her for a gel and pedi how much she say 45 bucks and a right before they are going to take me to the chair she tells me it cost 75!! They are racist I left what in the heck are they going to do different for 75 bucks never again!!! read more

I usually start picking off my gel polish about 10 days after I get a manicure because the ends starts to peel up. When I got a gel manicure at elegant nails, it lasted 3 weeks without any problems! It was the best gel manicure I have gotten in a long time. Very lovely staff and salon. read more

I went to elegant nails on Wednesday, March 23 for a full set. I had never gone before but it was by my work and I was going out of town the following day for Easter so decided to try it out. I always get acrylic which usually lasts me almost 3 weeks well by Tuesday, March 29th I went back in for them to fix my nails because one had already popped off and all but the thumbs were coming off at the cuticle. It is only 3 days later and I have 3 nails coming up. It was over priced and I agree with another user on here that they definitely treat older clients differently. Do not go here. They will steal from you. Posting prices in the brochures then charging you more -- 20.00 more...when confronted about it they respond by saying, "oh we need to change our brochures." Not good business and pedicures are terrible charging an additional 5 bucks to remove rough spots on your feet which should be normal part of pedicure.
