My experience overall was not terrible. I truly enjoyed my pedicure. The young lady who did was very professional and fixed both of my big toes that needed some work so I loved that. However, when I booked my appointment I also booked for a gel fill in which is listed as service on the website. While getting my pedi I was asked what type of gel did I have on my nails and I told a different young lady (who did my fill in) builder gel. I am very familiar with builder gel because I get it often and it gives more of a natural look that I like. She said ok to confirm her understanding. When I went to her table (last table on the right side) she takes the old gel polish off, buffs etc. Then she pulls out poly gel (they call it hybrid gel). I tell her this is not what I was talking about and she insist very sternly that it doesn't the same thing. That's fine and well but not what I booked for and $5 more. The nails came out fine. I just was not a fan the switch up for what was advertised on the website and the service provided. If you go here I would advise the clarify more than once on what you are getting. read more

I only came to get a full set because they have reasonable prices for what I get which is a short, square french tip. I paid $55 and I like the way my nails look. The quality and price match. Came here to have my daughter's pedicure and myself. It was not busy so we were seated right away. They gave us a "menu" with prices for pedicures, I chose the basic for my daughter and the deluxe for me, which on the book was $35 and $45. I was not given the option of basic nail polish or gel just asked what color I wanted. They did the gel nail polish, which is fine; I have had this done before elsewhere. Nonetheless, I was charged $120 which I did not even pay mind to at the moment but once I realized how much it was, it did not make sense. When I called the salon to ask, they told me it was because of the gel polish. A $20 upcharge for gel polish is RIDICULOUS. Will never go back. read more

3.5 Stars Visiting with my daughter I needed a mani and pedi really bad and after going to three places on a Thursday that I found on Yelp around 12pm I was turned away each place because I didn't have an appointment contrary to their door saying WALK-IN Welcome and their website as well as their Yelp profile. Needless to say I showed up here and it was empty, I heard the angels singing HALLELUJAH as I entered. There were two ladies working one older and one middle age. The older lady ran the water for my pedicure and did my pedicure and the other lady set me up for my mani one hour later. I was there for about 2 hours for services. I can't complain about my services, I just think me being the first person that afternoon they forgot protocol. About a hour into my stay there another person came in for a pedicure and was offered water or wine. I wasn't offered either, once I got to the manicure chair I asked if they had water and the lady said "ooh YES, do you want some". I had even been to "fancy" salons in "nicer" areas of town, and the service was supbar...not worth the drive nor my 70 bucks. At KT, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Their system on appointment-making it very simple; just call in and request your desired day and time. I've never been denied a desired day and time. Another great benefit of booking ahead is that you get 10% off of your services! (It's an incentive to book instead of being a walk-in.) Every time I've arrived for an appnt, they were ready for me and I was started on immediately. Also, their services are always above average quality. I can keep my hybrid gel nails for 4 weeks if I want! And speaking of, the staff is the reason I discovered hybrid gel (which has been the best quality of nails I've had). I had been getting dip powder prior, and they explained to me that hybrid gel is better for your natural nails, takes less time to apply, AND ends up costing less because you can get refills. The only reason why I like this place is because of the staff other than that it's freaking awful, I can tell that the staff just got out of nail school they barely know how to paint nails had to keep using Q-tips for Access paint on my fingers, left glue on my fingers and didn't dry my gel nails all the way and they were ruined by the first day. I went in there to get them fixed and the lady did a completely different design on my nails and they were before. I decided to get my lashes done which the owner explained that she has been doing them for six years my eyelashes look completely awful it's embarrassing. You can still see the glue on my eyelashes and she glued them on my eyelids instead of my lashes. This is my second time coming here and I will never come again. read more

I was really hopeful that I had found my new nail salon. I returned for a second time for waxing and lashes. There was no wait. The lashes actually lasted for 3 weeks. No issues with the waxing. Things were going well! So at that time I scheduled with Karina ( owner ) for a pedicure and full set. When I arrived Karina was informed she had appt for a pedicure and full set. Karina was already sitting at a chairs. She says to the 2 techs I'm not doing a pedi one of you can do it. So the new tech ( day 2 ) is assigned to me. No offense I didn't know the quality of her work AND most importantly I made an appt with Karina. After 2 hr only my nail we're done and her shift was over. On 2 occasions my tech said I'm almost done you can start the water, she still needs a pedicure. Karina and another tech didn't say a word or move to start the water. They were too busy posting pics. I was the only customer in the salon. I chose not to have a pedicure and take my business elsewhere. If you the owner operator has an attitude and feel as if you're too good to pedicures maybe you should consider another profession. But you the owner set the culture and tone for your salon. This is a newer shop with amazing staff and an amazing atmosphere.The establishment looks just like the photos, and all tools are sanitized. Getting to know the lovely women worked there made it feel more like home all while the owner and staff maintained professionalism. Price wise I spent about $110 - $120 including my $10 which is average when considering I got a full set and a deluxe pedicure. I am a bit clumsy and my nails have help up against dropping things on feet and getting my hands caught in doors. It's well worth the money and I will be returning. I've been to a few nail shops in Charlotte and after a first visit with my mother we immediately decided that this would be our go-to place from now on. I was able to call and quickly schedule a same day appointment, and took advantage of the 10% off deal they have going on! Me and my roommate both got our nails and toes done. A lovely, clean establishment with such wonderful people! They offered us a beverage upon arrival and asked us to choose our colors. My friend went with hydrosolar nails and they look lovely, I got a regular gel manicure. Their massage chairs are comfy and updated and their prices are exactly right. I went into the shop today and was serviced by MI. I asked for another lady and was told she was on vacation and that she could do my nails. She started removing my gel polish and said she would be right back. When she came back, she started the the other lady quit because she did a lousy job and started talk about how bad of a job she was doing to the customers. I just wanted a fill in and it took awhile. I never experienced pain getting my nails down but the drill was hurting me. Her excuse was the other lady did a bad job so that's why my nails were tender. She used some product on my nails that I didn't ask for and never had but kept saying she was doing all this extra because her boss told her to do a good job because the last lady didn't and there were so many complaints. I just wanted a regular fill in on my very short nails. When I went to pay, she charged me for a product that I didn't even asked for. She told me that's what I had last time which was a lie. She acted like she did me a favor and took off $5 but it was still more than I paid there for a simple fill in. I asked to speak to the owner and she said that she was out shopping and wouldn't be back until an hour. I has to go so I paid it but will never go back. I expressed that to MI as well.
