Good service, fair price. I came here for the first time and was impressed. They have many working and many chairs available. I came a Friday afternoon and they got me in right away. I went to My Bella Nail Bar today for the first time at the suggestion of a coworker. I overheard the receptionist speaking in a condescending tone as she talked with several of the clients. When it was my turn to interact with her, she was short/tempered and unfriendly. She gave me the price for the services I asked about prior to sitting down with the technician. I waited 30 minutes before being seated to get my nails done. The service was okay...just 'okay'. After my nails were finished the technician told me I owed $25 over the price I was originally quoted. If you're a first-timer, please be careful and extremely clear about the services you want. I saw at least two people get to the check out desk, along with myself, and question the price of the services they received. Also, bring cash! First couple times I went nails stayed on for a month however this time when I went with my grandma again neither of us were very satisfied they couldn't do my toes because I had an ingrown which I understood and I waited over an hour to get my nails done lady came and got me and was about to start and then stated she couldn't do my nails and I would have to wait even longer because her appointment was coming in 30 mins early so I sat with my grandma as she was getting her nails done Winnie was my tech and they looked great after she finished however I had to go back after a day because my left pointer nail popped off and now my right pointer nail popped off after 4 days and this never happens they are supposed to last about 2-3 weeks and they always last me a month I literally have to pry them off they stay on so well however this time it's like they are press on nails and won't stay on very disappointed to have paid $78 for nails that won't stay on. Also I'm not doing anything to break the nail I just placed my hand on my kitchen table and the nail tapped the table and off went the nail. So this will be my 2nd time returning to get a nail replaced bc they keep popping off which is very irritating and time consuming when I paid to get them done correctly the first time. I got there for seen till 6 PM for that appointment and then it was almost 630 for my 530 appointment for lashes and eyebrows and I still pay $40 full price for the service that I didn't get for a whole hour and these people are not happy to see you but you're giving them a hard on money and they do not care about your service you come out looking they don't care if you're happy or anything. Love this nail salon! I've been going here prior to them even opening this location. My nail tech, Jen, is always up for any challenging design I being to her and she has no problem replicating them. I am big on looking up new designs on Pinterest, for every holiday, season or whim I may have and she is always up to try it! I am even comfortable with letting her do her own thing, or put her own spin on a design. Lana, the owner is always so pleasant. All of the staff is when you're in their shop. They're located in a shopping plaza so there are always lots of parking options. The salon is always clean and even when they're busy, they do a pretty good job at trying to get you in an out as quickly as possible, while still treating you with care. I'll start with the pros... the pedicure and manicure was a nice experience... I appreciated the tech taking her time to massage my feet and hands especially with me getting a gel manicure. Often when I go somewhere they skip the traditional manicure process for gel so I was pleased that they did that. Now for the cons... the paint job was pretty bad for both my hands and feet... it looked like I tried to paint my own nails. With my manicure I started to bleed due to her cutting too deep with my cuticles. She did put the blue stuff on there and tried to stop the bleeding but it kept bleeding. What I didn't like was how, to me, precautions weren't being taken once I had an open wound to make sure there was no cross contamination... you paint my nails and place it back in the jar to be used again? Also the cuticle oil was used and that brush was also placed back in the jar. The blood had to be cleaned off my nail Bc it was pretty much settling in the gel polish. I was visibly upset and all I kept getting was I'm sorry. I let the lady know when I was about to pay and she had to attempt to treat my finger again bc it was still bleeding. No discount or anything for this mishap. I will not be returning simply bc I don't think they are sanitary or take extra care of customers when they make them bleed. read more

This was the first nail salon I've tried in university and I have yet to find a better one in the area. If you're in a rush, I would advise to go early in the week because there's always a full crowd. Luckily they do have a big staff so they do try their best to get all of their clients done in a timely manner. From the many flat screen TVs to the pretty decor surrounding the studio, it's very pleasing to look at while you're getting serviced. The place alone makes your experience 10x better. So I was referred by my daughter n law to see Mama B and Jen. I got the regular pedicure and a full set. Mama Bee did my pedi and I was disappointed. So let's back up I was called because my appt was pushed back because another client was late, the reason I know is because I knew the late client and she said I'm late and Jen is going to get me and I said to her oh you're the reason my appt was pushed back? Ok so I received a regular pedi and I've been getting my pedi's done for years to know that the person providing service is supposed to scrub your feet with that square pad. Mama Bee only did my toes she didn't scrub the sides or my heels, she said I didn't get the right pedi and that my feet are peeling and I did t need them scrub because it might start to bleed! Like lady what are you talking about?! So I mentioned everything to Jen and she stopped me while I was talking and said I didn't do your pedi and that she don't do pedi's so she don't know what I was supposed have done. I said everyone knows a regular pedi come with the scrub why would I pay 45 for you to put my feet on water, take off my polish and polish with gel I could have just got a polish change. Just rushed and dis the bare minimum so they can get you to upgrade your service! Jen even got aggravated because she wanted me to take my hands out the uv light before the timer went off and I kindly told her no, I like for the timer to go off so my polish don't chip . Do not come here. Their techs and management have poor customer service and quality. They took my day from good to bad. A friend referred me here so I booked an appointment with Jen for SNS dip powder for a Friday (booked 4 days in advance - the appointment portal is very easy to use). The receptionist was very kind and helped orient me to colors. I should've known my service was going to be questionable when Jen started and stopped my nails twice to help other customers. But I was patient and eager to get my nails done, so I didn't mind (I rarely get my nails done). So as Jen proceeded to file my right hand, she was extremely rough and careless and cut my skin on 3 of my fingers. I jerked back each time and expressed discomfort but she didn't apologize or anything. As she buffed and filed my nails with the machine, she frequently kept going around my nail hitting my finger bc she was rushing and talking with a friend. After she completed the SNS I noticed many incomplete areas that didn't have the final coat on it. Strikes 1 and 2. Next I proceed to get a pedicure from Peter. As he is cutting the cuticle on my right big toe, he cuts too fair and cuts my skin so deep. He apologized, added some liquid to stop the bleeding and proceeded to the other toes. Now he begins to buff, similar to Jen, he begins chatting with another tech and doesn't pay attention and buffs my big toe so hard that it catches the cut and rips is even more. Now my toe is dripping blood and I am holding back tears. He tries to stop the bleeding but he did nothing to clean the area. At that moment I should have told him to stop with the service. Instead of cleaning the area, he puts polish around the old blood outlining my toe. Then proceeds to give me a bill for the full service. No way. Strike 3. I ask the receptionist to speak to the manager and I proceed to explain my frustration with the situation. She empathizes with me and goes to get the manager. However, the manager NEVER came out to speak to me. She/he only relayed a msg thru the receptionist. Terrible. The receptionist says they will give me 20% off and have another tech who is more "careful" and "detailed oriented" to clean the blood off my toe. Then to put icing on the cake, she charged my card twice. She forgot to add the discount so she charged me full price then had to void the transaction and charge me the correct discounted price. Anyway, I waited more than 10 minutes for the new tech and she never came bc she was still with another client. So I left to go home to clean my toe myself. After I shared with my friend who referred me my experience, she said she isn't returning there because they gave her poor customer service the last couple of times she was there. October 8,2018 My mom set up an appointment with Wayne to get a fill-in for my SNS. When I arrived I was greeted and asked if I wanted beverage. Wayne was very quick but did not rush. He gave me the perfect nail shape (square but not rounded at the top) and also fixed my nail that had broken off days before my appointment. It took me a while to write this post and I really wanted it to be a good one but unfortunately, it's not that great! I visited this salon about an hour and 15 minutes before they closed. I'm not a new customer here but I haven't been in over a year because I got tired of the hit or miss "good customer service". I started going somewhere else that was very consistent in offering good customer service all around! Yesterday evening, my customer service wasn't completely poor but there were some exceptions. It was very inconvenient of them to practically force some of the staff members to take holiday pictures while in the middle of providing services. I was actually one of the customers who had to have their service paused. I wanted to be considerate of them closing and decided not to get both a manicure AND pedicure. Because I needed my feet done for comfortability perhaps. I'm practically on my feet all day and decided to get a Deluxe Pedicure instead of a standard one. The young lady that did my pedicure was obviously new (I'd like to think). This was one of the worst pedicures that I've received for the amount of money and atmosphere that was paid for. So many oily products were used and she never wiped my toe nails off so obviously even after an hour my toes weren't dry and the polish could completely slide off. Unbelievable. I even tipped her $5 but that was for her time. I didn't want to not tip her at all. It's the holidays! She also didn't file or buffer my toe nails! You know what means? That means my toe nails aren't smooth and they're not filed -- that simple! The only satisfying part of the experience is the fact that my feet feel better. Needless to say, I appreciate the scrub as a customer Christmas gift of appreciation, but I honestly would rather a free polish change, file, and buffer this chaos on my toes!
