This is your typical nail salon but the service and competitive pricing sets it a step ahead of the others. A mani/pedi normally costs $37 but they run a $27 special Monday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday's. I sprung for the longer lasting polish ($5 up charge) and 24-hours in am pleased with the durability. I always chip polish within a day of a manicure. This polish is holding up to my abuse! I've washed the dishes, showered, done a load of laundry and the manicure still looks like new. Mani/pedi comes with a sit in one of their oversized massaging chairs, warm foot bath, neck/shoulder massage and drinks! Updating my review as Luxury Nail is my go to salon in Charlotte now. Kristy and Henry run an amazing business and I always feel well taken care of. I recently went here to get SNS mani and a pedi after having a horrible manicure done at one of the trendy nail salons, which I shall not name. Everyone was wearing masks, required me to wear a mask and had plexi glass. As a pregnant woman, I felt very safe. The pedicure was very nice with a scrub and a lotion included in the regular pedi. They do have a deluxe pedi that I get here and there that has a wax paraffin and really really long massaging. Chairs were super comfy. The mani stations are nicely set up with big chairs (I hate the bar style with the small high top chairs at some of the trendy places). My SNS was done well and even got some help picking out my color. Typically their manis also come with a shoulder massage but not during Covid times. Also in non Covid times they offer wine and soft drinks. I think the biggest indicator of how awesome this place is is all the repeat customers. While I was in there, every single person that walked in was welcomed by name and was a repeat. That says alot. Recently got referred by several people to visit Luxury Nail, and I'm glad I did! I went yesterday to get my SNS color changed (it costs $40 - I had a hard time finding their price list online!). I called that afternoon and got an appointment for 6pm. I was seen immediately, and the first technician regularly checked on me as I soaked in acetone to get the SNS off. They then brought me a glass of wine as Henry started working on my new SNS! Henry did an AMAZING job on my nails. It is amazing how quickly he works while still doing flawless work! He cut and shaped my nails perfectly and was meticulous as he layered the SNS coats. All the staff and clients were very friendly, and the salon had an upbeat vibe to it. My friend got me try this place! They did such a nice job and were so sweet! Henry worked on my nails and he was friendly and very good at what he was doing! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he was able to copy it nicely! I had a bad hangnail and he was super gentle since it was hurting a bit. My friends were with 2 different techs and their nails both looked great as well. We all got SNS and I added acrylic tips to mine. It's a fair price to me since it was $45 to add the extra but $40 of you didn't add the tips. They're quick but make sure to do a good job and that the customer is happy. Went w girlfriends for impromptu pedicures on beautiful Saturday afternoon. They offer a mani & pedi for $28, pedi for $20, and gel mani for $20. No wine or soda offered but there is a water dispenser machine near the front door. The chairs look and feel a bit outdated; the massage was just ok. As I pulled out my debit card to pay the woman told me they'd been having issues with processing card transactions and could only take cash or check (made out to cash). It pains me to write this review as this was my hidden gem location for a great cheap pedicure for many years. However, I went this past weekend to get my eyebrows waxed and I can honestly say, it was the worst experience I've ever had with an eyebrow wax. First, I had to wait for a good 15 minutes even though there was a man just sitting in a massage chair (employee, not client). Then when the woman finally took me back she seemed rushed and nervous. When she was done waxing she SCRUBBED my face/eyebrow area with the cotton ball, but apologized. Then she nipped my skin with the tweezers, twice, but again apologized. I was starting to lose my patience at this point because that really hurt. I quickly glanced at my face in the little mirror in the room and walked out. The price for waxing was on $6.00, and it use to be $10, so I should have been suspect from that alone. As I was paying the bill I saw the woman that had just done them talking to another employee and she pointed right at me. I can only assume shew as telling her she'd just really messed up on that girl. When I got out to my car and truly inspected my brows I saw that there was wax all over my right eyebrow and that was why she had been scrubbing so feverishly!!! What a mess. Thank goodness for Vaseline to get the wax off without loosing half my eyebrow. I still have a scab on my other eye from where she nipped me with the tweezers-twice. To say I was angry is an understatement. No wonder the price has gone down. The gal is not good at what she does. The fact that she didn't even try to correct her mistakes is ridiculous. This place use to be a fantastic place to go-a hidden gem of affordable service. However, I am sad to say it is that no more. I got a pedicure there not too long ago and the paint started chipping within 3 days. Typically it lasts for at least a week or two. Sufficed to say, I will not be returning to Luxury Nails. read more

When I first entered they told me it was going to be a 25 minute wait because I was a walk in that's fine I ended up only waiting for 10 minutes so when I first sat down a lady glued the artificial nail on then I waited 15 minutes for another tech to finish he was really nice and just wish my polish had another coat and I didn't have the space between my cuticle and nail.
