There was another business in a nearby suite that was opened once I made my way to Digits and Spikes' suite. To say I'm disappointed is understatement.

It was HOT inside. It was an 81 degree day at the beginning of April so maybe they weren't prepared for that yet (they did have fans on) but I was extremely hot. They had the radio on so some commercials played, not constant music. I wasn't offered a drink or any beverages. Upon entering, I was greeted by the manager and advised that I wanted a manicure with gel polish. Sofi provided my service. During the first several minutes, she repeatedly tried to persuade me to switch to acrylic or SNS, despite my clearly and consistently stating that I did not want those services. Additionally, she appeared frustrated when I changed my mind about my polish color. As a customer, I believe I have the right to adjust my color choice--especially when the original color was not fully available or sealed. What was most concerning was that Sofi began speaking about me to the manager in their language during my service. I understood the conversation and had to address both of them directly, advising that it was inappropriate to discuss me while my manicure was still in progress. This was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Although I paid and tipped, I will not be returning. I hope this serves as a reminder for the business to be mindful of how they speak about customers--especially since you never know who may understand the language.

Disappointing Gel Manicure - I Do Not Recommend! I really wanted to like this place, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I'm officially done. My most recent visit was frustrating from start to finish. The nail tech was nice, but she kept ignoring my concerns. I later realized there was a language barrier, so I just went along with it--lesson learned. The final result was awful. My nails looked lumpy, my cuticles weren't properly done, and once I got to my car, I noticed nail polish all over my fingers. For the price, I expected much better quality. This salon was decent when I first started coming here, but the last few visits have been subpar, and I've even had a couple of terrible experiences. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it's clear things aren't improving. I'd rather take my business elsewhere. I do not recommend this salon! read more

I have been going to this salon for seven years and have always been pleased. However, I had not…read morebeen in a few months and when I went there today I found that it had changed completely. They no longer carry any OPI or other polishes that I recognized. I had to pick a color for my gel mani off of a board with small chips on it. I asked, and was told that while they still have some OPI gel colors (in the back) not displayed at all, they will do them upon request if they have yours but will not display or reorder any polishes except the ones they are now promoting. The reason for this is that they are now "keeping up with the trends". I didn't recognize any of it and the polish I chose was so far off of my usual pale shade that I had to get him to grind most of it off and put another color on top. They are all very nice there however I probably will not go back due to this change being a bridge too far. If you don't mind starting over with trial and error until you find a shade you can stand, you will probably be ok. I won't be back because of this.
