Andy, you are truly one of a kind. Thank you for opening your shop on a Sunday so my daughters Addie and Annie could have a special private session and get their nails painted before Annie begins her next round of new chemotherapy tomorrow. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can say. I've been getting my nails done with you for years, and Pureluxe is the only nail salon I'll ever go to. You've all become like family to me. Thank you again for blessing us in this way and for always taking such wonderful care of us. We appreciate you more than you could ever know. I was staying at the Homewood Suites and found this nail salon to be extremely convenient and within walking distance. Upon entering, I was greeted by the manager and advised that I wanted a manicure with gel polish. Sofi provided my service. During the first several minutes, she repeatedly tried to persuade me to switch to acrylic or SNS, despite my clearly and consistently stating that I did not want those services. Additionally, she appeared frustrated when I changed my mind about my polish color. As a customer, I believe I have the right to adjust my color choice--especially when the original color was not fully available or sealed. What was most concerning was that Sofi began speaking about me to the manager in their language during my service. I understood the conversation and had to address both of them directly, advising that it was inappropriate to discuss me while my manicure was still in progress. This was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Although I paid and tipped, I will not be returning. I hope this serves as a reminder for the business to be mindful of how they speak about customers--especially since you never know who may understand the language. read more

Service has declined. They pick and choose who to accommodate and it's obvious. Sofi did my pedicure and got a pedicure on what was asked to be corrected. Will not be returning read more

Absolutely love this spot! Prices are decent, service is great, and it's clean! Only thing I don't like is they don't have a gel manicure and pedicure combo but other combos are a great price especially for this area. Hannah was amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who lives in the Ballantyne/Carmel area. They use a point system for discounts too. Definitely will be coming back here. read more

Don is the best for nails. I be "cheated" on him a few times and regret it every time. Book an appointment with Don and you won't regret it.

Just when I thought I had found my go to nail salon, they proved me wrong. Service is hit or miss, they try to charge 5 dollar for each ask you may have i.e. almond shaped nails extra 5, a third color for sns extra 5, extension extra 5. Focus here seems to be minting money and not building clientele. Even if you make a reservation, you will still be waiting 15 minutes to get service. Not coming back. Thank you! read more

I was in NC for a wedding. I came here with a bridal party to get my nails done on May 2nd. 24 days later, my nails are absolutely perfect. I start my rating at a 3. An establishment will receive 3 stars for doing their job. As a nail salon they did my nails. I don't remember the tech's name. The entire staff was very patient and friendly. I ended up getting the SNS dipping powder. I hardly ever do my nails. But the last time I had them done (not at this salon), it was with gel polish. It's supposed to last longer etc. I got 8 days out of that. Since we were there for a bridal party, they even had mimosas and champagne for us. Add 1 star for a total of 4. The final star is for the fact that my nails are still perfect. NO chipping. NO peeling. NO breakage. I think I will start doing my nails regularly with the SNS dipping powder. read more

Amazing nail salon. The downfall is that you usually HAVE to have an appointment because they are so busy. I've been coming here for a while now and usually make a Saturday or Sunday appointment with no difficulty. I've seen them turn people away because they were too busy and the customer didn't have an appointment. I was able to do a walk in on a Monday this week after calling to see if they could take me without an appointment. Don did a great job with my pedicure! He is very meticulous and the best nail tech I've ever had. I always want to use him from now on. I'd been having some pain in both of my great toes and he was able to fix it for me. I bring my own polish but they have a great selection of SNS, gel, and regular polish. There prices recently went up about $5 per service which is a bummer but I understand it has to happen because of inflation. If you need a mani or pedi this is the place to go to! Just make sure you make an appointment because they can get crazy busy! read more

Friendly and accommodating but my nails were poorly done. I asked him to do them as I saw in one of their pictures in a review and he clipped my nails unevenly to give me an almond look that was crazy . I had to this fixed somewhere else. read more

This was my second visit and nails came out absolute perfection same as my first experience here. They are very professional, fast, with strong attention to detail. Every nail has same almond shape, filed well, and I also love how thin the sns is. Prices are pretty good I paid $122 for sns, gel pedicure and eyebrow wax. Definitely high quality and one of the best salons I've found in charlotte in 6 years. read more

So let me tell you about PureLuxe... Customer service is awesome first off. I had Taylor she is very quiet but she does a great job. She is meticulous and the best nail tech I have had since moving back to Charlotte. She did such a good job that I will continue to get my nails done because I almost have up on getting them done as it's hard to find a good nail tech. Will be going back! read more

I went here to get a pedicure and the SNS which is the dip powder pedicure. The gentleman did a lovely job on my pedicure. He took is his time and kept checking on me to see if he was putting to much pressure on me when he was doing my foot massage. The place was clean. And they offered me a drink when I got into the chair. I denied but it was nice for them to offer. I felt like they had good customer service. The gentleman and I held a conversation and we joked around. Sometime when I go to some place to get a pedicure they employees don't speak to the customers they just do the work. The gentleman completed my dip powder nails as well and his did a good job. I ended up getting a French manicure with the dip powder. It came out good. I will be coming back. The only thing I didn't like was after I got my nails done and they dried I wish they had some lotion out for me to moisturize my hands after. read more

Nails always come out looking neat. They really do take their time to make sure your nails are beautiful. There was one time I was not satisfied and Andy, the manager, took time to understand what I didn't like and fixed it for me! He showed concern and patience. He wouldn't let me leave until I was satisfied. I do suggest you book an appointment as they tend to be busy. read more

I like this nail salon, I'm still finding the perfect shop in Charlotte and for now this is the one! I enjoy getting my nails done with Andy or Don, they are both sweet and caring and listen to any of your concerns. They have lots of colors to choose from, regular, gel and SNS. Also every time I come the offer something to drink. This nail salon is always busy, I highly recommend making an appointment even if it's a weekday. Thanks for being my favorite place so far read more

I've busted this area for food on several occasions and didn't realize that there was a nail salon here. A huge hand clap for the level of kindness and professionalism my friend and I experienced here at Pureluxe. The repeat customers were extremely comfortable here. We went on a Wednesday everting and we're taken care of right away. I even apologetically changed my mind about the service I wanted to receive midway through the process, and the individuals attending to me assured me that everything was fine. As far as nail salons go I'll be adding this one to my favorites list...especially once we transition back into the office since it's so close to many office buildings (including mine). My hands and toes were beautiful and smooth. I'll certainly be returning and appreciate the beautiful first impression. read more

Amazing! Excellent service and my nails look amazing! The salon was clean and the staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back!

This place closes at 6pm EVERYDAY HOWEVER They do not turn off their open sign. I was very disappointed to see here on yelp that they are open until seven drove there saw the open sign on went inside ask me what I needed when I told him I needed a dip they said oh I'm sorry we close at six it was 5:57. And I told them if you're not taking any new customers perhaps you should turn off your open sign and update your time of operations on yelp. read more

I recently bought a Groupon for a pedicure here, so I decided on Saturday that it was time to use it. I checked out the terms of the deal, and they require an appointment, so I called to see if they could get me in right away, and thankfully, they could. So I drove straight over and was taken back right away. The pedi was pretty standard. I forgot to ask on the phone if they could also do a gel mani, and of course they said yes. Unfortunately, the were rather busy, so after my pedi was over, they sent me back up front so another nail tech could do my mani. The guy doing my mani did an ok job, but he was distracted several times, which made me feel that he wasn't really focused on what he was doing. The shop was clean and had a good selection of OPI regular and gel polishes. They also had cute little "bear" pedi chairs for the little ones. Overall, my experience was ok, but I must say that I was disappointed when I got home and saw that I already had a chip in the nail polish on my big toe (I wore flip-flops and did not put shoes on at all, so I was surprised to have an issue so quickly.) So far my fingernails look good, but we will have to wait and see how long the gel mani lasts. Hopefully, it will last the standard 2 weeks... I will write an update once I see how long it does last. Also, the Groupon I bought was for 2 pedis, and I was a bit nervous when they marked my online voucher as "redeemed" despite the fact that I only used one of my 2 pedis. I will also write an update when I go back for my second pedi if I have any trouble redeeming the second pedi. read more

I love this salon, visit regularly! Every two weeks to be exact. This past week, for some odd reason two of my nails peeled about an hour after I left the salon, I was frustrated because I was heading out of town for the weekend. I called, spoke to the owner and he was beyond accommodating, told me to come back whenever I was available and they would take care of me. This has never happened before and the fact that he was so apologetic and accommodating means he will forever have my business. Great salon, my nails always look great and the owner has amazing people working for him! read more

I tried this nail salon this week due to the exceptional reviews it receives. It was a great experience. Very professional staff and they aim to please. Prices are very reasonable compared to other salons. The salon is extremely clean and comfortable. They sterilize their nail equipment that's used on the clients which I like. It's probably best to make an appointment to assure no wait , but they do take walk-ins. I had one person do my manicure and someone else do my pedicure. I especially liked my SNS manicure done by Linda. She is a perfectionist and I will be asking for her next time. Everybody seems really good , but I just liked the way Linda was so detailed. I think I have found my new nail salon. read more

Wish I had an actual experience to talk about. I walked in and yes I understand Saturday's get busy before I began. I was approached and asked what I needed and after I told her she begin talking in another language to another person and then totally walked away from me. No further interaction. I left after standing there another 10 minutes with no one saying anything. Their lost of money not mine but I will take my business elsewhere where I'll be treated appropriately! Maybe I didn't "look" like I live in this area but I do and I will continue to turn any business I can away from this place. I've seen busier salons have better customer service. I'm also an inspector, unfortunately today that wasn't my role. Just wanted my nails done while I waited on lunch with my friends. Very unfortunate. read more

My sister recommended Pureluxe in Ballantyne after I've struggled to find a place to do consistently well SNS. My first time, the owner Andy took care of me right away! Even with the salon being packed and him taking phone appointments (which is always best to make) he poured me some wine and still made the experience great! Went back and had Linda who was also excellent and very sweet. I've definitely found my go to spot! read more

I'm a long-time customer of over 5 years and I've never experienced such disregard toward consistent clientele as I have the past two months. I've made appointments weeks in advance only for Andy to call and ask me to come later. Upon arrival, I continue to wait over an hour, with walk-ins being taken in front of me. Andy is unable to provide a reason as to why but this has now happened on more than one occasion. What saddens me most, is that my daughter and I had a back to school appointment (made a week in advance) and again he asked me to come later only for us to be arrive at the same time as a party of 4. Of course he and his wife catered to the party of 4 whose appointment was 45 minutes after ours. I let me daughter proceed with her services and canceled mines. I no longer will be patronizing this nail; my money has as much value as others. read more

Such a great place! Don did my nails and toes and he did an amazing job seriously one of the best mani/pedis I've ever gotten and I've gone to a lot of nail salons for the simple reason that I'm never happy with my nails and the service I receive at other salons. The staff was very sweet! Don took his time on the "basic pedi" I got. I also loved that someone wasn't doing my mani and someone else doing my pedi at the same time making me move my arm across my chest and have the UV light sitting on my lap. Ah! I want to relax! But that was not an issue here. Don did my pedi then took me over to another table to do my mani, like the good ol days. I went to apple salon across the street a few weeks ago and this salon is 100X better! Thank you!! read more

I love getting my manicure and pedicure at Pureluxe Nails year round. Andy, the owner is friendly, kind and always greets all customers warmly. He recognizes me when I call to schedule an appointment and knows what services I'm calling to schedule. Although, Appointments are not required I always schedule my manicure and pedicure with Don. He is very knowledgeable, patient and does his job very well. If I come in on Don's day off - all of the other staff members also perform top notch work. The entire staff is very compassionate. I bring my mother to the salon with me for pedicures. She's older, so she walks slower and is recuperating from surgery. They have always treated her gently, listened to her concerns and carefully walked her over to her chair for her pedicure. Andy always checks in with her to make sure that she is comfortable. I never feel rushed and I feel very pampered when I leave the salon. I truly cannot say enough nice things about the staff at Pureluxe! read more

THE BEST Nail salon in Charlotte. I've been going here for 3 years straight to get my nails done and it has gone through management changes but Andy is the hardest working business owner and all the nail stylists pay attention to detail.
