The service I received was expected. As a recent transplant to Charlotte (North Lake area), it was a little out of the way from my location which is why I took a star away from the rating. (5 stars are for services above and beyond.) Additionally, I would like to remind patrons that if anyone provides a service whether independent or with a franchise, a tip is ALWAYS appropriate. Lastly, I have no allegiance to anyone, but a reality check and perspective is in order. I have gone to exclusive plastic surgeons and dermatologist in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach, CA where I just moved from and I'd be damned too if I didn't leave a tip on top of the cost for the services rendered. This is an expensive service and these professionals have done a good job with pricing against the money they lose when products and tools have to be repurchased. Don't be mad if Jennifer is about her business. Just as you are about your business, you should expect her to follow-up with you if you asked for products. It's a two-way street. If you didn't tip or don't have an established relationship, don't expect someone to stick their neck out to buy expensive products for you only to have you renege, and sit on her shelf and go bad because no one else wants the product you wanted. I could go on, but I feel I had to come to Jennifer's rescue because the review appears to be unscrupulous. I would recommend Jennifer and would return. She's knowledgeable, has a quaint facility, and has products that work for me.

He just looked weird and not licensed to do what he does. 2). The massage room was smaller than my bathroom. Once I was laying face down he moved the bed out of the corner in the middle of the massage. 3). The room had a plastic folding partition not a door. I could hear everything in the reception room. 4). The room did not have dim lighting, it was a bright white light along with a open window with no curtains to block the natural light....so much for relaxing. 5). This is the first place every that a timer was used to know when certain minutes were used. I have never had a therapist use a loud timer during a massage to let him/her know what to do next. REALLY?!! 6). He had the worst massage technique every. I walked out with my right calf in more pain than I walked in. Its still sore but now I'm wearing my Tommie Copper sleeve...something I've never done after a massage. 7). On the paperwork I filled out, I located where my main concerns were. The only place the weird therapist concentrated on was my upper back and that was not a place I had noted as a trouble area. 8). As I left the massage I was not asked or given any water. 9). It was difficult in communicating with him or the staff because I couldn't understand what they were saying clearly. 10). The was absolutely not aromatherapy to calm the senses. A robe, slippers and a spa bag for my belongings was already prepared - a nice touch. I started with the salt cave experience. It was relaxing and I was cautioned that anything I brought into the room would have a salt residue afterwards. I didn't really notice a salt residue at all, even on my wet hair. The spa music and the lounge chair did make for a quiet transition from my busy morning into peaceful relaxing mode. Afterwards, I enjoyed a bit of time in the relaxation room. For hot tea, each day they have both a caffeinated and a decaffeinated option. It was served on a cute tray with honey and sugar options. Last, my 90 minute massage. A choice of scalp massage or foot massage was offered and I opted for the foot massage without hesitation. I requested medium pressure and only asked once for a bit less pressure in a sensitive area of my lower back, and my therapist was quick to adjust. I chose the lavender blend massage oil and it smelled lovely. Special attention was paid to my shoulders where I carry most of my tension. Having booked only a couple of days in advance, I did make a deposit of 50% up front and was already within the cancellation window. If more than one service is confirmed, a 20% gratuity for each is automatically added but that was well explained up front and during check out. I noticed a list of monthly membership options during checkout and I'm actually considering joining. It was easy to get an appointment and very relaxing, though I'd probably skip the salt cave and go right to the massage or opt for a facial next time.
