RACIST OWNER! First. I'm a professional woman. A doctor no less. And a Veteran. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years across Ohio, Georgia, Texas and California. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. The work was horrible and when I asked to test a color the owner literally stated "We don't have to sit here and try a bunch of colors." Then said, after I said I wanted to get what I asked for said "Fine. Charge her $5 extra." He had a nasty attitude so I said nevermind, I'll go somewhere else and pay cash for what I'd received. He said, in a disrespectful way "We can't take cash." I said I don't trust you to run my card. He then stated "FINE. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE." He went on to say I can't afford to pay. Please note: There was no one waiting. Two workers, including the owner who cursed at me, were sitting on their phones for the duration of the appointment. It was ONLY because I was Black. All I wanted was to get the polish design I requested and to see it before committing and he was unnecessarily rude. Then threatened to call the police and I said please do. I went somewhere else for the polish and they said his work was horrible. Didn't even cut my cuticles or buff correctly. I beg you all, especially people of color, not to give this place your money. This is one of the nails salons around my area. I've been to it maybe twice now. I honestly do not understand how you have a business but don't understand that you should have someone greet your customers when they walk in. I walked in no one even acknowledged my presence. I signed in, sat down and waited for 15 mins till someone finally walked up to the front because they need to check a customer out. I became frustrated, asking if it was appointments only. Not once did she apologize about my wait. The pedicure was average but over priced in my opinion. The only reason I keep going back to this nail shop is because of Angel & the miracle she does to my eyebrows. Went in today whoever the person was that "greeted" me had the worst attitude. I asked a question about Angel doing my eyebrows he said 1 hour so after he said that I asked if there was anyone else that could do it he yelled yeah but ask for angel that's why I told you. Not only was the pedicure over priced, but the technician ended up taking a chunk out of my big toe on the side. I also had a little Knick on the toe next to my big one. I'm not one to complain, let alone post on a forum like this, but the care I received was subpar at best. The sloppiest mani and pedi I've ever gotten! This is not my usual nail salon but it's by my neighborhood. I came here because I was already on this side of town and pinched for time. When I walked in everyone was welcoming and very nice, however, the quality of my service is terrible. The polish on my finger nails doesn't cover my entire nails (the sides of my nails are unpainted) my pedi looks horrible. I paid for the VIP pedi, the most expensive for $48. This is the quality y'all charge for VIP??? The polish is uneven and goopy, sloppy, all over the skin on my toes. My nails are jagged. I kept asking her to shape them and she insisted she already did when I know she didn't. I paid $78 for this crap and it looked like I painted my own nails. What a waste. If I could give it a negative I would if I would have read the reviews I wouldn't have went, first red flag was they had the water already in the foot bathe thing when I first walked in, I understand I came when it was close to close but they made it seem like it was no problem just for me to get in the water and the lady was extremely rough, she barely scrubbed or massaged my feet at all she scrubbed my legs all rough to when she put my legs back in the water it started to hurt from irritation, I immediately looked at my girlfriend and told her I was done with it, I was only in the chair for less than 6 mins and she had already drained the foot bathe like she actually did my feet. 0 out of 0 never will be back! And the fact my girlfriend got her toes done and was charged 55$ for less than 10 mins in the chair, no color, is ridiculous. read more

If I could give negative 5 I would the lady that did my pedicure was rough and aggressive with my feet and was about to finish my pedicure without doing the massage portion that I paid extra for a longer version for .... So I kindly asked her where was the massage portion of the pedicure that I paid for (option number 2 claims to have a longer massage than number 1). She then started speaking in her native tongue and the only thing I could pick up was massage like she was trying to imply that she did it already but she did not! So she massaged my feet for all of 20 seconds and then started tapping on my leg for me to get up. The only reason I go to this one is because of the proximity to my home. It's not a top nail salon just regular generals salon that appeared to be clean but I'm not going to tolerate disrespect when the basins aren't new and the aesthetics aren't even all that. I have been several times before and had good experiences but that lady just ruined it for me will never go back she has a short cut with blonde hair and wears gold necklaces. When she started on my SNS manicure she did use the wrong polish on one of the nails. Instead of removing it she tried to cover it up which really didn't work. I saw that they were getting ready to close so I felt that she rushed on that one nail. Besides that one nail not being filed or dipped correctly the manicure turned out really nice. Just walked out of there. I went in to have my sns removed and replaced with gel, they told me that it was a $5 charge for removing and I was okay with that. I told them I needed to be done by 3 (got there at 2). Long story short, as I'm getting worked on 2 ppl walked in. They were getting pedicures and they asked the guy taking care of me what I was getting, he told them, then they said something in their language and he got up started taking care of the new ppl instead. I sat there, and was pretty pissed because that was so rude. I asked the manager to finish taking off the polish, then his wife (I'm assuming) walked over asking "oh gel French tip?" I was like no, then I told her how rude what they did was. She gave me a bunch of bullshit excuses, but I told her I've been to many salons where they don't just walk off and start helping someone else. As I proceeded to check out, she said $10, I told her no the man before had said $5 for removal. She said something to him in their language and then was like "ok $5". She was nice to me but never apologized, I think that if they would've been like sorry he's going to help someone else I would've been okay with that, but just leaving me sitting there waiting was really unprofessional. Visiting Charlotte for a business trip. Decided to treat myself for a spa day. Looked on Yelp and T-Nails was near my hotel and have the best rating. I'm so glad I have chosen this salon. Everyone there seem to be so nice. Customer service must be their priority. I came in kinda close to their closing time on a Saturday night and they were still happy to help me. A lady there name Kim work on my pedicure and she was so good at what she do. I had the best pedicure ever. Kim was awesome with the massage. For a tiny lady she sure was born with a very strong yet gentle arms. As for my nails and eyebrow, I have a young lady there by the name of Angel. Omg, this chick looks so young but man she have some skill, I never have nails looking this awesome before. She have the shape, length , and thickness just the way I asked her to do. Her English was really good so that helped her understood what I wanted. I'm quite a picky person but she satisfy all my request. But I save the best for last. Angel did a amazing job on my eyebrow. I have been coming to this salon since they opened their doors about 4 years ago. Today I came in and got my nails cut down and a fill. The paint job was rushed and the color wasn't my best choice so I came back after work with my own polish to have them redone. After they dried I walked out. I was called back in to pay $8.00. When I asked why, the owners wife stated that me wanting to change the color was "my fault"! Who says that to a customer? The atmosphere is nice even though sometimes T is rough and doesn't do the best job painting but I am a loyal customer. The way his wife spoke to me and he didn't even bother to look up to correct her with how she spoke to me is disturbing. I won't be back and I won't be recommending to any one else.
