Even though there were many salons closer to my new home, I went to see Steven based on this recommendation. I was not disappointed! He was so nice, friendly, and on time for my appointment. The salon was spacious and clean. My husband had a pedi with Vin and said he was great, too. There was another technician there, Pim, who seemed so kind - always smiling at incoming customers. I understand she does a great job with builder gel and will try her, too, in case Steven isn't available. Kelly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. She was meticulous in the preparation of my nails for polish. She gave a very relaxing foot and lower leg massage, as well. Her polish application was perfect and she gave each coat time to dry. The result was a mani/ pedi that should last for a long time. It's already been three days with a lot of gardening and dish washing, and my hands still look perfect. Usually several nails would be showing signs of wear by now. First, the technician filed my nails down so much when I told her I was trying to grow them out. Looking from a palm view you can't even see my nail over my finger tip anymore. I had asked for rounded and she gave me more of an almond shape. Second, she made me bleed while filing my nail. Not only did she make me bleed she continued to try and file that spot two more times! This is concerning because I'm pregnant and being very conscious of not going to nail salons with any nicks/cuts/wounds on my hands or feet, I'm not sure how clean their tools are, and she dropped the file on the ground and kept using it. Last, the first color I chose was very faint so I asked if we can choose a different brand/color. The second one was also faint and required four layers. And it was an uneven color and there's a fuzz stuck on my thumb nail. The products they use are subpar and do not match the color of the samples. I didn't have the patience or time to ask for them to redo it, nor did they offer any discount. There's a salon right across the street that I've had way better experiences at and encourage you to go to if you're in the area. I decided to go here because I completed a return at UPS next door right before. I always feel bad leaving reviews like this, but friendly staff doesn't overcome bad service.

This sucks because the service providers did a really good job. I got a cat eye gel polish , short full set ($85) and a cat eye gel polish regular pedicure and was flabbergasted when I saw $160 because I wasn't anticipating spending that much. From the pricing sheet, I knew the regular pedicure was $40 plus an additional $15 for gel polish + $45 for acrylic full set + $15 for gel polish so I was anticipating spending around roughly$120. I have never been to a salon that charges additional money for using the cat eye polish(I brought in my own polish and magnet) and constitutes it as a "design" on every finger when they use the magnet to get the cat eye effect. I could have overlooked it, but I don't think that I saw anywhere on the pricing sheet that established that using the cat eye effect was going to be considered an additional design. The staff was really sweet when I asked for the price breakdown and it came to about $85 for the nails and $75 for my pedicure. I had Deborah working on my feet and sky working on my manicure at the same time. I was in and out within a little over an hr and change. They were both really friendly and did amazing work. I would certainly recommend them! I would return, but more than likely I will just get the basics and do my own cat eye polish at home and save about $40-50.
