Cheap prices but really sloppy job. I got the $18 dollar pedicure that was ok. Gel many $20 really bad done by LAYNA. She didn't push my cuticles so the gel starting lifting the next day. The gel was so think that my nails had spots that literally looked like a drop of gel was going to drip. 90% of their nail Polish are the ones you can get from the .99c store and my daughter manicure lasted only 2 days. The place it's clean and there is nice people but really careless service. I don't know why this place have 4 stars not worth them. read more

I normally do not write reviews but my daughter was getting her nails done here and I guess I wasn't suppose to sit at one of the chairs next to her since it's reserved only for customers. Um am I not a customer? I guess I didn't get anything done that's why. But there was another person sitting at another place BUT apparently they had something done and was just sitting there waiting also. If that's the case, put a damn sign up so that you are not being called out i. front of everyone when technically you are a customer. Never coming here ever again. The way the tell you was very rude and after telling me, they are talking to there people in their language. I'm sure saying stuff that I wouldn't appreciate. I was sitting there for a good 10 minutes and they finally said I couldn't. Was going to walk out of that place but my daughter was in the middle of it and didn't want to punish the lady who was doing her nails so I sucked it up and now waiting. read more

So disappointed with the service at this salon. Read the reviews and gave it a try but did not live up to reputation. Woman that worked on my nails did not fully remove gel before applying new gel - added 4 layers of new gel (which was still not enough because you could feel and see the "lumps" of old gel underneath) which peeled off while I was driving home. It's no wonder they serve you wine while you get nails done - they don't want you to see the mess they're making! No apology, just excused when I pointed out to Owner what woman had done tinny nails. I love this place! I've been going here for almost a year and the quality of service is exceptional!!! After a long day of work or sometimes before work, this is my spot to go to relax and wind down. The staff here are so sweet!! I had a last minute appointment for 7 bridesmaids, mom, auntie, and myself and they were so accommodating! I actually followed my old nail technician here. I love the place and her. The chairs are so comfy. Don't let the display of nail polishes fool you, they have so many pretty colors you just have to ask. They have great products and I always leave super pleased. I would definitely recommend making an appointment with JANET. She does and great job and fake nails last so long with her. Even my mom has been coming to her for over 10 years. I had been using many different spas for my facial since I had a bad breakout of acne due to stress, lack of sleep, and bad eating habit. Since I met with Ivy and she gave me with many great advices and consultations on how to help me reduced my acne problems. I decided to take her advices and got my facial done by her. After a few facials done by her and took her advices on taking additional nutrition supplements to help with anti-oxidation to release, and to cure my internal free radical attacked by eating fast foods and processed foods for most of my life. After three months, my face had cleared out of acne and my skin is looking healthier. I totally recommend Ivy to anyone that needs help with problems like mine. Her services I would say "superb" along with her knowledge in beautician. Not to say, everyone that works in her salon are very friendly, and so happy. I normally don't like to write review but this would be my 3rd reviews total in 5 years, this is my only salon review in 5 years. The price is very affordable knowing how hard these girls worked with the best service, and the services also include a chilled glasses of wine for a location in Long Beach. I think they should increase their price if they include a glass of wine. Would I recommend this place? 100% totally recommended to everyone to give a try. Enough said! This is one of the worst nail salons i've ever been too. The customer service sucks... they talk bad about you in front of you and expect to get paid. Each time i've been there I had to wait 3 hours or more, the first time I went here was with my mom and we had to sit there for hours even people without an appointment got to go first! I LOVE this place. They are such perfectionists here. The deluxe spa pedicure is probably the best pedicure I've ever had! (And I've had my share of pedicures!) they use sugar scrub, a cooling mask, warm lotion, hot towel, the works! And the women here are all super nice and friendly. They take their time and make sure to get the job done right! They offer you water, tea, or wine (my choice is always wine!) when you sit down. I don't think I will be going anywhere else! I have found a patient and polite nail tech. Ivy is so nice and has a ton of patience. She takes her time to do your nails and never rush. I have been so pleased and happy with these times she has done my nails. I have gotten complaints and everyone keeps asking who does my nails. Ivy's nail salon is a nice place to just sit and get your nails and feet done. A added bonus they will even offer you a class of wine or water. If you are looking at a place to get your nails done and someone to do the job IVY is the person to go to. Horrible experience. First off they did NOT open at the indicated time and even when they did finally open all of the employees did not show up on time so they were short staffed. Then there was no customer service, one lady just asked me what I wanted then directed me to sign the waiting list and then sit and wait. No warm welcome, thank you for coming, questions about first timers or nothing. Jus sign the list and wait. There's flies flying around everywhere because they leave the door open and the place is not the cleanest. Floors, walls and even the nail stations could use a good wipe down with soap and water. When I got my pedicure, the employee didn't use a tub liner or any kind of disinfectant that I could see. The pedicure was overall decent for $30 but she didn't even attempt to really attend to my cuticles and the polish job already looks dull and old. Now the fill that I got, dear Lord! Okay first off things were going okay as he was filling my nails though he did cut me a few times with the drill because he was talking and trying to hastily finish. I didn't sweat it though, there was no blood just stinging so I sat quiet and watched him. I choose a glitter gel polish and as he commenced to apply the polish, he dabbed it on my nails instead of striking which then made my nails all clumpy and caked up by the time he was done. There was no way I was gonna walk out with clumpy ass nails. I asked him to remove the polish and let me choose just a solid color. At that point he seemed upset or maybe scared I was gonna get upset, so much he hastily used the drill to remove the gel polish but when he did, he basically drilled the acrylic down so much my nails are thin as air. I can already see the acrylic is going to chip and I'll have to remove all my nails and get them done over. $43 dollars and 2.5 hours or wasted time. I wouldn't even send my WORST ENEMY to this nail shop. Please save your money! Go somewhere with better service. As you can see in the pictures, I barely walked out with clear on my nails. read more

No one greets you. I came in for a pedicure and they didn't put soap in the water. I had to ask the lady to do it so I don't get an infection from other dirty pedicure residue. That is basic state board requirement. She was rude and rushed through it. Still gave her a $3 tip on a bad service and see rolled her eyes. Wish I didn't tip at all.
