I went in for a walk in maybe around 5-5:30, and was in a chair pretty quickly. The nail tech I had was super sweet, her name was Tristy (I hope that's how you spell it), and she was fast and really good at what she was doing. Not only was she fast, she never nicked me or hurt me when using the drill or file. She already had the acrylic on my nails and shaped by the time they would usually be starting to put it on. They weren't thick like I've had happen at other places and are really even. She had me in and out of the chair I think the fastest I've ever seen and these are the best set I've ever had, definitely recommend :D read more

Pretty disappointed, wanted to try a place close to my house and this happened. It took 2 hours and they weren't busy when I got there but they got busy and kind of put me on the back burner, that wasn't what I was most disappointed about because I wasn't in a rush. But if you can see in the picture I got this dip LAST NIGHT and the top gel shiny coat is peeling off!! I haven't even done anything today so I'm just super bummed. I asked a million questions and Victor the owner answered them all without making me feel like I was asking too many questions LOL some nail spas I feel like they get annoyed when you ask them a bunch of stuff but he was very patient and explained all these different options to me! This was my second time the first time I had his wife Tristy and this time I had Victor. Victor did a wonderful job I honestly can never go anywhere else because you don't get the attention to detail and the care that they put into making it perfect anywhere else! I wish I could post a photo because they are gorgeous :-) they can take any picture that you get off of Pinterest and recreate it and make it even better :-) and definitely don't forget to bring tip money! This place is horrible. It's dirty and they have no clue what they are doing. I went in and asked for a natural manicure. They had a kid start to file my nails. He tried to reuse the cuticle cutter that the lady next to him had just used on another client on me without any effort to clean or sterilize it. When I asked for clean tools they were surprised. Then they wanted to use the drummel file on my super thin natural nails. When I refused they were angry and then she tried to glue tips on. All this for a natural manicure. At that point I left. I've tried this place twice now, and I'm not really wanting to go back. My first visit, in March 2016, I was in for a fill, with gel, and opted towards the end of my service to have a design done. My total was $48 before tip. Upon returning home, I noticed my polish wasn't applied smoothly, leaving some spots where it was "faded" almost. My nails looked as if they'd been done a week ago and had grown out. However, I loved the 3D design done so I just let it be. Then, less than 1 week later, 3 of my nails started to chip from the base. I eventually needed to remove all of them. Then, this past week, I went in for a pedicure. I choose their "luxurious" $35 pedi. What I got was being cashed out with excess amounts of massage oil down my legs and on the bottom of my feet (nearly impossible to walk in flip-flops like that!) and about 2 minutes after the lady applied the top coat. So, no offer to have me sit under the drying fan for when 5 minutes. Another part that left me uncomfortable was when I selected my pedicure she tried to up-sell me repeatedly, because it was "only $5 more", and when I declined she still told me to come back and do it next time. Needless to say, I'll be continuing to look for another place locally to have my nails done. Unfortunate, and this is why they got 2 stars, they were all so polite the first time I walked in and originally made me feel welcome. read more

I made a recent visit for a fill and pedicure. Vick normally does my fill because I get the impression his wife doesn't want to do it. From day 1 she's always put me off on him due to whatever issues she has with me, a complete stranger and I never found her to be pleasant to deal with. Always showing an attitude. One day I called to make an appointment, she didn't know who I was and made my appointment with her but after arriving she lied about making the appointment with her. I was unbothered and Vick ended up doing my fill. Back to my recent visit, so Vick does my fill and we have great conversation. I then went over to get my pedicure from the guy with the colored hair (which I didn't want him to do it initially due to him being very unpleasant the last time he did it) I chose the $30 pedi. When I asked him how much would my pedi be in total with gel polish he quoted $40 total. At the time of paying I was charged an extra $5 and my card was charged without him announcing my total which was on purpose bc he realized he misquoted me on my pedi. But a simply quick explanation of his mistake would've been appreciated and accepted. However, he didn't, I had to catch it. In my opinion, these nail salons owned by Vietnamese ppl are extremely money hungry. Vick overheard everything and refused to intervene to address the situation, so I had to call his name for him to acknowledge what was going on. He showed very little regard and had the audacity to ask "well what do you want me to do about it?" And then asked, "well did you look at the price?" Wait, what?? I absolutely did and that's what led me to ask my total with the gel! He should've shown me better customer appreciation. He's the owner, he knew exactly what he shouldve done to accomodate me and my troubles with being misquoted. May I add, the shop is in dyer need of an update. That would give their clients a better spa like experience overall. And reconfigure the space, its very tight in there. I'm a real estate investor, I know if you put money into your business the more you'll get back from it. read more

Some of the staff were nice, the others didn't talk much and that made me uncomfortable but that's just me. I got a full set of acrylics and they seemed to rush through it even though they weren't that busy that day. All my nails are different sizes and they never asked me what shape I wanted them. They just seemed careless and unorganized throughout the whole experience. They also seemed to favor other customers because I saw them send another woman back over to the waiting area and then give her seat to a woman who JUST walked in. I have been going to and supporting this establishment for several years. The last time I went, on April 7, 2017 I was charged $45 for a full gel set, more than I've ever paid, but just paid it. 24 hours later one nail broke. No big deal. The tip was weak. I went in about 48 hours later and was given grief about it breaking. I was joking saying, "I didn't do anything." (meaning nothing that should have broken the nail). The man said he hates when people say that because obviously I did something otherwise "his" nail wouldn't have broken. This whole time I was smiling and light-hearted. After placing a new nail on, roughly!, he sat on his phone and ignored me. NO reason for me to wait. He didn't ask that I wash it like we always do. I asked what he was waiting for (He pulled out his phone and began playing a video game) and he said in a condescending tone, and I quote: "It's boring waiting, isn't it?" First off, if I could give them zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a while. I went in for a 1:30 pm appointment, I arrived at 1:10 pm. First off, I knew I was early and I did acknowledge that. They made no mention of them running behind, just told me to pick out my color and they'd be with me. Well, I picked out my color and had a seat. My appointment time came and went, around 2:00 pm, I asked how much longer it would be. (That took a lot for me to ask because usually I don't try to be a complaining customer and I do know things happen). They said it would be just another few minutes so I had a seat to continue to wait to be seen for my appointment. Well, another 15 minutes came and went. By this time, I had been there for over an hour.... I went up to ask again about my appointment. Well, no one would even acknowledge me standing there. Finally, at 2:30 pm, and standing at the counter for at least 5 minutes, I just walked out. It was a complete waste of my time and I didn't even get my nails done! In total, I waited an hour and 15 minutes with no explanation. I get people sometimes running behind, but at least communicate this to your customers and don't make them feel like they are an inconvenience. I will never return there. read more

We both had a great pedi, that we would recommend to anyone. Our feet were soft and pretty, plus our toes..... They looked GREAT...... PLease give Nails Today one try and if u don't like they, then don't return. I have been to many nail salons around the area and this place had friendly people and good prices. Isn't that what "we" as customers are looking for? I know my daughter and I am. I think each of you out there should ask yourself that question. We found Nails Today to be clean and to offer a variety of different products, which I have found at the other salons. As for my daughter and myself, we plan on returning to Nails Today. What kind of proud store owner opens his doors 20 minutes late?! I called at 9:31 when they didn't open. They said they were on their way but ended up :20 minutes late. They didn't apologize in any way when I walked in with them and I asked upon leaving if they were going to in any way compensate me for the inconvenience and they said no, sometimes things happen. I understand this but as an owner running a business, you would think you would at least apologize or in some way make it up to your patron when you inconvenience them. I mean not even a 10% off your next visit coupon. After I swiped my card she said, well if you were paying in cash, maybe I could have done something for you. We just had this whole convo and wait till know to say that?! Also the chairs are terrible, the place is freezing and I never removed my coat and the tech guy had a super long and sharp thumb nail that he kept stabbing me with under my thumb nail. I went in for the second time today with my mom to get my nails filled as they were looking pretty rough. Also, it is important to know that I am a 16 year old girl who has struggled with anxiety almost my entire life, causing me to bite my nails constantly. This is part of why I get them done. However, when I went in to have them fixed up, I was met with all of the employees gathering around me, pointing at my nails and laughing obnoxiously during my entire visit. The spoke English with the other customers but not with me. It was almost like they were trying to hide the fact that they were all making fun of a teenage girl, although it was super obvious. They also asked who had done my nails last, not knowing it was one of their employees. When I made them aware of this they laughed even harder and would not stop talking about me. I was on the verge of tears because this is something I am really self-conscious about and for them to laugh at me and cause a huge scene in front of everyone was way out of line and completely unprofessional.
